It really does not matter if you agree or disagree with banners, chants, pyro etc.
UEFA rules are simple and the escalating potential punishments for breaking them are simple as well.
Every time you say, feck UEFA and break the rules, you are basically also saying feck Celtic and the other supporters.

Agree5 Disagree0

What escalating punishments would that be?

01 Nov 2019 10:16:27
It could be part of the ground closed we've racked up 19 charges and time to put a sock in it.

{Ed007's Note - It doesn't matter how many charges we have because it's about the seriousness of them. Pyro and sweary words on a banner are well down the list of offences UEFA find important hence the paltry fines we receive.
We've had charges for lateral movement (remember you can't do The Huddle during European games), poor stewarding, blocked stairways & walkways and even because of our sub's bibs, these latest charges will be treated the same as these other minor offences and result in a fine of around 10K - 12K Euros.}

do eufa fine themselves for every political issue they raise banners for in stadiums . and same messages on they put on players shirts.

01 Nov 2019 12:21:23
Get that ed you'll know better than me but could they sanction us for being repeat offenders by closing a section or worse.

{Ed007's Note - I've never seen a case where they've done that for what UEFA see as minor offences mate. I mean come on, it's PC went full on mental, we're now facing a fine for having an (illicit) banner saying F**k Lazio - it was nothing to do with the Mussolini banner - and for (illicit) singing this:

I don't think the Club have came out with anything about these latest charges which shows how trivial it all is, it's not like we've been persistently warned for years for fans racist singing and been warned that UEFA would close a section of the stadium if it didn't stop.}

01 Nov 2019 12:51:12
The panty wetting world we live in it's a joke.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

01 Nov 2019 13:23:42
Every time we get a small fine, people on here complain and ed has to say the same thing over and over, your right mally its time for some to put a sock in it. 😂.

01 Nov 2019 15:11:22
Steph the green brigade should put a sock in it it’s people backing them like this that makes them think h block martyrs display hunger striker displays are ok to go ahead.

01 Nov 2019 17:29:15
Well it looks like green brigade are paying the fine Celtic got us well em maybe.
There is a go fund set up and the fine will be paid not by green brigade tho. By go fund me donations.
So now to find out if Celtic are allowed to take the money and pay and they did would that be like the Celtic board saying, do what you want lads as long as you pay the fine. Then Eufa saying Celtic FC are accepting this behaviour.
Would uefa even accept the money will be watching it and seeing where the money goes.

{Ed007's Note - The Green Brigade are collecting money that will be split between Scottish Action for Refugees and the Baobab Experience who support asylum seekers in Rome. It's already at over £12k and you can read more & donate HERE.

The bigitory / hatred on the streets and the terraces is still there in Scotland.
Lazio fans, as long as they are doing there banner thing as an insult that's ok Lazio get a fine no trouble gd. But what if the banner has now kicked it off and trouble looms.
Forget Italian ultras what about local gangs Watch the videos online it's shocking.
Will the posters who agreed with the banner still think it's ok if we get hurt over there.
I hope it is just all talk and I'm worried for nothing and talking sh##
Stay in crowds lads and be noisy police escort every time.

{Ed007's Note - Any team that's been to Italy over the years, even Celtic fans have had problems going back to 1981 against Juve and again in 2001, Liverpool played the EC against Roma in Rome in 84 and the violence there led to the Heysel Disaster and carried forward to World Cup in Italy in 1990.
It's part and parcel of going to Italy mate, every foreign supporter no matter where they're from are a target.}

01 Nov 2019 18:35:12
12k in 2 days is fantastic. It shows many of us care for the downtrodden in this fecked up world.

01 Nov 2019 19:23:38
Duff those types of displays are fine with me, and I would guess a lot more fans would agree than take your stance. i've not met a celtic fan that was offended by the banner if that's what your on about.

01 Nov 2019 19:16:25
i agree with you ED BUTTTT
its not going away ED the headlines again on the dailybun and a few others and on here with fellow posters, {NEVER CLICKED ON THE BAIT THo}Its escalating mate.
your doing magic ironing things out your logic is worthy.
hope its all just puffy chests;}.

{Ed007's Note - I think the Lazio ultras are more intent on sending a message to UEFA after the section closure than a couple of banners at Celtic Park.}

01 Nov 2019 20:03:00
Steph they don’t bother me either buddy just prefer where not going to do stuff wee can get carpeted for.

01 Nov 2019 22:01:53
@duffandphelps
That's everything I'm talking about things which don't effect our club as Celtic belongs to all of us not just GB.

{Ed007's Note - It belongs to all of us, including the GB.}
