Why does Lennon nearly always replace a racehorse with a donkey, when making a substitution.

Agree1 Disagree0

It is because our bench is not strong as it once was.
Exactly 2 years ago in the last game in October our bench was Dembele, Sinclair, Armstrong, McGregor and Boyata.

Totally agree with Leon. our bench is weaker than what it used to be. wee Johnny Hayes gives his all but for me he’s nowhere near the quality we need, and Lewis Morgan is the same. sinclair wasn’t at his best last season but he’s absolutely head and shoulders above both these players! He would easily out score both of them put together!

Unusually for a Celtic squad, we are spoiled for choice in all the defensive positions but very sparse in attack. You just have to look at the personnel and quality on the bench most games this season to see we need additions in Jan.

come on lads
the bench was strong
BITTON ELHAMED ROGIC. three great players on the bench
yes question marks on
we johnny but gives his all great to come on as a sud
but morgan
not sure why lenny does not play sinclair agreed he's better than morgan etc
dont forget we have a very flexible back 4 who can play two or three positions,
few first team players rested griff nearly there they say.

With goal difference looking to be a factor with ourselves and sevco against the rest of the SPL - and the current injury and fitness issues with Bayo and Griff, you would think Sinclair would be the sensible option for back-up?
However I think NL has decided to rely more on Elyannoussi, Forrest and Christie to take the strain off Eddy to score the goals; but I still think we need to look at another striker in the next window and maybe go back in for Turnbull if Sinclair has no future at paradise?

Turnbull would he be interested after that pulava.

#Ed is Turnbull getting there. nothing in the media about him is he off crutches has he started rehab is he training again. I would still take him for future and do his rehab with us. . Gd for the future. We bought Taylor with an injury but guessing Turnbull much more severe maybe even one of the young lads come through as a forward learn a lot from eddy .

{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure exactly where Turnbull is in his recovery but Keith Lasley said last week that he is "bang on schedule", working hard in the gym and should be back in January.}

Right lads and you ED im trying this again don't judge my skills to much,
saying we could have a strong bench we could have it easily and better game changers, look how strong our bench could be i know there is to many subs its just an EX

So my question is how do we make everyone happy?

Andy, that bench of 8 outfield players is still not good enough if we are chasing the game and a backup of untried youngsters. Only an unfit Griff and Johnston as attacking options.
2 years ago we had either Forrest or Roberts to come of the bench and we also had a couple to pick from Dembele, Edouard and a fit Griff to help change the game in our favour if needed.
