Lenny is resting a few players and he is leaving us very short in the defensive midfield area of the team. Resting Brown, Mcgregor and Christie and with Bitton and Kouassi injured, I feel he is leaving us short and is taking a chance in that area. I wasn’t impressed with young Connell in the friendly and he is not ready for the step up. If Jullian is fit, we could play Ajar as the holding player in a 4-2-3-1 system, but if not, we only have Ntcham, who can play a defensive midfield role. He might play a 4-1-4-1 system. I hope Sinclair will get a game tonight but unfortunately I can’t see it.

Ntcham cannot play a defensive midfield role, he was dug meat playing there under Rodgers.

Kev, Elyounoussi can play in the middle and if Shved can’t make it, play Morgan on the right and then hopefully he will play Sinclair on the left.
