Well that was everything that the cluj game wasn't.
Lennon looks like he has learned dome serious lessons from that defeat and that is a great thing.
He got everything bang on today, line up, tactics and subs, the lot.
Well done lenny.

On to the team. They were great. Worked hard, kept calm and composed while playing some lovely football.
They were real unlucky not to win that game.

Only blip for me was Ajer. The big man has been fantastic and would be in my team every week but tonight that was a major blunder when the guy was going nowhere.
Ajer is someone who does use his hands a bit to much with the pulling and wrestling. It's something he need to work on.

All in all a good night and makes me feel real positive for the rest of this group.

Agree4 Disagree0

He can be a bit clumsy big Kriss.

Great nights work against a good side kev but big ajer had an off night the pen is basic stuff stay on your feet and run him worse case he gives away a corner he had a grab at the striker 2nd half as well time big Kennedy pulled aside.

Yeah it's something he needs to work on he does it every game, needs to work on his positioning at times as well but I think he'll learn a lot from big jullien and will continue to improve which can only be a good thing.

{Ed007's Note - Ajer's only 21 and still has some rough edges, he'll learn to better position himself the more he plays and gains experience. Unfortunately the rashness he's still prone to now and again happened inside the box tonight.}

I'd still prefer us to have an actual CB in the CB position as I think Ajer could be a long term replacement for Brown.

Another CB in the mould of Jullien with big Ajer sitting in front would be perfect in my opinion.

Completely agree ed and people (myself included) can sometimes forget how young he is. I think he has the potential to have a great future in the game and with time will get better and better.

He will learn a lot from tonight which in the long run will be a good thing.

Ajer started to play as a CB when he was loaned out to Kilmarnock. Before that he played as a CAM and sometimes a striker. So he hasn't played as a CB more than three odd years and will need time to adjust.
Given two, three years i think he will be class, much because of his mindset and willing to learn.
Norway`s best CB since Ronny Johnsen in my opinion.

He had played both centre back and defensive midfield as well according to his manager at the time. He said they were still trying to work out his best position.
He's now played more professional games at ccentre back than any other position and that's now where he will be rest of his career imo.
