Can any body clear this up for me my horrible rangers supporting friend is telling me it took Larson 8 attempts to score his first goal in a old firm game this is nonsounce?

He scored his first on 21st November 1998. Venglos was in charge so that would have been his 2nd season. Potentially if we played them in a few cup games over the 2 seasons then it could have been 8 games. Certainly wasn't 8 league games.

Sure he scored his 1st goal in the 5-1 game under Dr Joe. Think it was his 7th game against them.

I've got it he never scored in his first 6 games against them.
His 7th game was the 5-1 match and Henrik scored 2.
Larsson's 8th game he scored another 2.
That would be 4 goals in his first 8 games v rangers.

Henrik scored his first goal against the oldco in the 5-1 game in November 98,i remember it will because it was my first game against that lot and I was there myself, very back row of the north stand! Great game! 😜😜.

What's the prob when he scored his first the main point is he ended scoring 15 times against them and young eddy nearly half way there already ask him how many el coo has scored against us.

Once he started he just loved a wee goal against the huns.

Also he never played as an out and out striker at first, he played a lot deeper as was shown when he gave the ball away to chic charnley to score in his first game.
