Going back to yesterday's game for a moment, what I liked also was we were not faffing about at the back taking risks, big Forster only played it short when it was safe to do so, the rest of the time he kicked long pushing us up the park, so Rodger's silly tactics literally booted out.

Wait to you play a team that can play. Giving your opponents the ball back all the time isn't a good idea.

I'm as indifferent towards BR as the next guy after he walked out Tim but that's a ridiculous post. His "silly tactics" won us an invincible Treble and ultimately the Treble Treble.

DRA1967, neither is giving it away 25 yards from Your own goal, as we did against PSG. Horses for courses, ma man.

Quite refreshing to see the ball getting shelled don't mind a pass if it's on but big fraz can shell it with both feet and he gets length.

Personally think it's prehistoric football. No top drawer team lump the ball.

Kicking it long will be fine in Scotland as we can almost give the opposition the ball and win it back quickly.
Where it won't work as well is when we play against top European teams who are good at keeping possession, we will then need to hold on to the ball more even if we aren't doing much with it.

We should start goofing it out in the corners like kick off yesterday then take the chance to win it back from a throw in or get one for ourselves and let Bauer put it in the box anywhere from the half way line, Simples lol.
