Am i a "loan" in wishing we had signed a RB on a permanent deal. Loanees are not what we want. The whole rigmarole will start again next July, if we don't sign him permanently.

I don't like loans either as it can just paper-over a problem; however, when we leave things this late, it's often inevitable we go down this road (yet again) . Although, the option-to-buy does make a difference and I would hope the player shows enough to prove his worth, show us what he can do and get a deal.

If the measure of a players ability was his ability to get a game many of the greats would never amounted to anything. Many decent and even very good players at some point have been seen as surplus, give the bhoy a chance! He is willing to come and fight for the position that speaks volumes for me.
