I have mentioned this before except for the impending bankruptcy under the Kelly's they Celtic are oprating on the football side is starting to remind me of that era.

Now older and wiser head's can correct me but I'm sure under last few year's of the Kelly's regime they kept saying what player's they were interested in getting in most of whom never appeared.

Not to mention the proposed new stadium with all the proposed new facilities in Cambuslang which I believed also included a new hotel.

It's just starting to feel like that all over again and as previous mentioned without impending bankruptcy. It just feel's awful.

Is there any chance wee Fergus can come bsck and sort this mess.

There is absolutely no comparison between the way the club was run to how it is run now.
Back then we were in debt and within 1 hour of going under, there is no way that we will ever get anywhere near that situation again.
We are probably one of the best run Businesses in Britain which is the way it should be, a lot of people are unhappy but we wontb spend money that we don't have and every time we miss out on the CL revenue the squad will get weaker.

The team has got to be strong enough to win the league first and foremost to have a chance of champions League do them has got to get stronger not weaker money needs spent.

Those dark days, where mismanagement and a convoy of bad decisions almost killed us are not the same as today, where the bank balance comes first; with corporate, developmental, structural and marketing strategies in place to secure financial security.
The club also have the highest wage bill in the country, so we have to look deeper into the recruitment failings, as to why so many have failed to make the grade, or improve the team sufficiently.
The amount of money wasted on inferior players has an awful lot to do with our lack of European progress, especially when we continually sell our prized assets each year - without replacing with similar.
