Calm heads needed over the next wee while! Had a conversation wi a couple of zombies. (yes, quickly coming out of the woodwork) . Anyways, they asked if I thought NL was for the chop? My reply was no. However IF (and I'm not saying that I think they will) things go tits up at the crumbledome, then he hasto go. The reason I say that is. we are on 8.9 is right there. but there is no wriggle room now. Time for both the board AND the management team to step up to the plate!

Who was going hysterical about Cluj being rated lower than Motherwell,?, they are also rated lower than Cork, . The champions of Roumania having a lower rating than Cork city should tell you to calm down a bit about the significance of these coefficients.

No, I think it's you that needs to keep a calm head, two or three or more bad results are normal in a season, that's what made the invicibles run so extraordinary, all that's happened so far is a bad result in the champions League,

Our last two visits there should be warning enough about how we need to perform, line-up and obviously defend well.
There could be additions before then to give us a lift? However;
Don't care what anyone says, the lack of Celtic support is a factor and the atmosphere did affect both sets of players in opposite ways.
Definitely not a place for nerves and inexperience and I hope the manager will put any ideas of Morgan or MJ out of his head and plays our strongest possible team in their proper positions.
Otherwise the pressure will be on him and a few others.

There lies the problem Lennon sees Johnston and Morgan as part of his strongest team although I agree with you neither are ready to face an over physical sevco team in their own den way to light weight .

It's irrelevant where Cluj are ranked with regards to coefficient, the point is the fact the game was not managed in a professional manner. Forget the board, forget Peter Lawwell, forget the transfer window, forget the £100 billon under the floor boards or whether Millport is higher ranked than Arran, the point is Lennon failed to properly and professionally game manage a Champions League tie.
If you can't see that's what took place on Tuesday night then you have no clue about football and should not be trying to debate the subject👍.

Malky I 100% agree there.

16 Aug 2019 10:53:31
Well said malky, the blame lies fairly and squarely at the door of the gaffer. It's a shame he can't come out and admit it instead of calling it a collective failure. HH.

I wish he would just come out and say he resigns how good a Friday would that be.

16 Aug 2019 11:59:35
We all know the manager was totally at fault on Tuesday and even though our attacking players nearly clawed him out of a hoe, he pulled the rug from under them with his tactical naivety and inept substitutions - giving them the initiative (I know Brown and Bain were culpable as well btw) .
He should have been straight and honest after the match and held his hands-up, but his credibility sank even further with the support and probably the players, when he shifted blame and responsibility.

Spot on OAB. That is one of the things that has kept my anger stoked. Most managers would take the flak for his team even when it isn't his fault but not the bold lenny. Under the bus you go lads.

I know Lennon was at fault for the selection and tactics, I said to someone before the game started, when I seen the lineup up that we were doomed, I was mearly replying to whoever it was that was going hysterical about Cluj being rated lower than Motherwell, every manager makes mistakes and I think the biggest one that is being made and was made on Tuesday, is keeping playing Scott Brown in midfield, which led to him moving McGregor to left back.
