Yes we did Kev but he was going to madhouse, if Meling had 2 or 3 years it could likely be around that. But he hasn't and he can leave for nothing in a few months. So I reckon if he is keen to move and we offer 3m it would secure his services, and for 3m it would be a great bit of business.

I would be surprised as they are at same point as us in qualifying. I wouldn't be surprised at least 4 or 5 Roy.
If we got him for under that the lawwell will be wearing a highway man outfit for Halloween.

Even at 4 or 5 Kev it would represent a great bit of business in my opinion Kev, whether the board see it that way I don't know haha
Of the 3 LB's being linked just now he is definitely the best option, although the I don't know much about the lad Henry from Brentford. I just can't see us spending 7m+ on him.

Roy I said above I'd be quite happy to pay 7 million for Melling even with a year on his contract. To be honest if we brought him in I don't think we'd miss KT as much as we thought we were going to.
