Is lawell going to give lennon money? why does this board hoard all the money, sell our best players and give nothing out. they have plenty to spend, why?

We have been linked with numerous players and issued a lot of bids but never really pushed some of the signings through when we should have. Especially in the LB/ RB positions. Really Lawwell only owes the fans for Celtics success over the years without us the club is nothing. If we start to go backwards again the stands will empty and a lot of people won’t forgive the club as we should be so much further ahead of anyone in Scotland. I have the feeling that we will maybe bring in one Left back and no right back.

We are in a critical position where our bench had no defenders present on Saturday. That’s a warning in itself. Two injuries and that department and we are screwed for choice. The fact is the fan base is crying out for the club to spend the money correctly and in the right positions and we all know how critical some new players in defence are. How do the club not realise this? It makes no sense and right now I am waiting for the worst as we continue to slide backwards.

Celtic are more reactive, than pro-active and will usually act after a crisis, rather than take sensible steps to avoid one.
Until then - as long as we are winning and being successful - The Board will continue to be complacent, dragging their heels and keeping the multi-millions in the investment account.
Everybody and their dug knows how much we need to strengthen certain areas and bring in much-needed quality, but I reckon we will plod-on against Cluj, possibly, right through to the Ibrox, before acting.

After seeing the score from that lot across the city, it says that they are ready for the fight, as we are still plodding along wondering when we will start getting players in. I hope this doesn't bite us in the ass on Tuesday night. as then we have to make it clear to the board that we demand good players bought into the club not the likes of Stephen odonnell.

Personally don't think Lawwell owes us anything. He's presided over a successfully period for the club both on and off the pitch. We are lucky to have him. Cast a glance at Govan to see what happens when a club isn't run properly.

Regardless of not being run properly there has been multi million pound sales from our club and a massive wage bill decrease. We are still dithering around getting reinforcements in for the most important seasons in a very long time for Celtic as a football club.

Scoop if you had watched there game instead of just reading the score you'd have known that Hibs looked more likely to score than rangers did until Hibs got a man sent off. After that is when rangers took real control.

I've seen comments elsewhere that reducing the wage bill and not spending the money in the bank could be to make Celtuc look like a more appealing purchase to potential buyers although i remember 007 saying dermot's son wants his shares if he decided to let them go.
