Age is not the problem a 32/ 34/ 36 or even 38 PLUS can be super fit super strong. You are comparing them to yourself
footballer at that age are nothing like you. It's usually the head that can't be arsed any more when that stops being proactive and you start to enjoy the money you have saved and getting fed up with training etc. Many survive but remember they are seriously fit ATHLETES so if they keep the fitness up keep positive there is no reason they can't go on as every body part can be trained to improve at any age. ITS LAZINESS THAT KILLS USand eating crap It just does not get bad one day it's the attitude to life that changes when we get older priorities change.
Stop comparing a 38 year old in the football word at the top of his game to a couch potatoe like yourself your talking shxx
If you don't actually train like them you don't know what your talking about. Science proves it I don't won't to go on here soz for the rant HH.

Agree0 Disagree0

It’s not always the mind that gives up even with super fit athletes. They can basically be worn out from continual injuries or over training. The mind does play a big part but in a contact sport it can be down to repeated knocks and then it doesn’t matter how good your attitude is, your body tells you its time to give it a rest.

seriously ARROW
its obvious injury would end career why are you stating the obvious.
im talking about athletes at the top of there game.
its all about the mind. if you have not heard of the term mindset go read about it.
you are wrong """if you train proper eat correct and train smart which they do, the body can take it im living proof of this.
professionals don't over train its trainer etc who don't know what they are dong is the problem. now footballers they now have the best of everything nowadays.
i will give you an example, not that long ago football careers where over due to hamstring injuries but due to science its a simple solution gd sport and injury rehab its not so so common now, this is the same with every muscle group.
person in the gym over train who think more is better. wrong but more is worse, or upper body stronger than there legs. this causes a huge imbalance but guys like me help to sort this.
im also talking from experience here,
