So what does Lennon need to do to improve us next season? Apart from the bleeding obvious sign better players.
After watching teams like Tottenham and even the "world beaters" Engerland mess up the playing out from the back, surely that is NUMBER ONE on the manager's agenda. Our goalkeeper and defenders must be more clever when they choose to play out from the back and cut out all the stupid mistakes which put team in trouble last season.
Next problem to solve is our corner kicks or more precisely, our lack of threat from them, our crossing HAS to be much better.
Same with our throw ins, last season we took so much time deciding who to throw ball too that it nullified our attacking options.
Also our free kicks were poor also, only Griffiths (when he was playing) posed any danger to opposing defences, we have to get more players causing problems with free kicks and crosses.
We all love our captain Broonie, but ironically when he is not in team our midfield pass the ball faster and better and pose much more problems. Either use Brown as just a defensive midfielder and use other midfielders like McGregor, Rogic etc to pass the ball quicker.
Just some ideas off top of my head, I am sure all you lot have more ideas as well.

Agree with pretty much all of that Tim. Playing out from the back gives me the absolute fear. We drop so deep to do so our centre halves end up taking it from the goalie in our own box. Better set piece deliveries but also we need more desire to get on the end of the few that are decent. And whilst I love Broony I don’t think it can be denied that when he picked up his injury last October we played a much higher and fast tempo with McGregor and Christie in the middle of the park.

Better set up and movement at set pieces as well as a good delivery and be a bit more inventive instead of sticking it on the penalty spot every time. Quicker build up play too in defense and attack. Perhaps 2 up top against teams that'll come to park the bus as 2 holding midfielders isn't needed. Have a plan B to counter the 11 man defences.

Definitely agree that the pace of play was so much quicker when brown was out. The guy is a legend at Celtic with what he has won there. But during theat spell of McGregor (in brown role) along side Christie and rogic we played unbelievable football. The ball when forward so quiet with quality passing all over the pitch and teams couldn't live with it. A lot of decision to be made in the coming season.
