Maybe we should all just lump our wages on Lennon becoming next manager as the days roll on I can't see a different manager coming in. Rafa is clearly going to stay at Newcastle. We don't have any other real options out there. I personally would love to see Bilic at Celtic Park or Cocu. Time will tell. The Board and Lawwell have made a mess of this. They need a DOF and Manager together at the same time and have no time to deal with this. We have to realise this, it'll be Lennon and John Park will do the U turn for DOF.

I'm sure when bilic was Croatia manager he said something along the lines of he would walk to Scotland for the Celtic job.
He actually is a weird one to judge as he never took the highest jobs after it.
Failed at lokomotiv. Done ok at besiktas but nothing special.
Done well at West ham then flopped at ittihad.

I'd definitely take Billic in a heartbeat before Lennon, not that I dislike Lennon. I just feel it would be a backwards step, I even think Ranieri would be a better option.

StephBhoy. I’ve taken into consideration what Lennon has said himself. What the EDs have been saying and then layered that with my own opinion. Then topping it off with Lawwells decision making. I don’t tend to trust media when it comes to anything Celtic because you know how that goes. I don’t want Lennon at all. After hearing the odds and ends of him screaming in the face of youngsters etc it just situates bad blood within the squad. That’s something we want to avoid. Really his parents should have went to Lawwell because that would have swayed the decision further.
Tesla I agree, feel like Bilic could do a job with our squad. Plays attractive football and understands the European scene. He’s one of the better pundits when he’s on and always has a decent opinion. Also he brought players like Morris through the Croatia squad so could have benefitted in there development. He may be the best option out there in my opinion and We should be chasing him.

Rafa has said all along he wants to stay at Newcastle and was never an option. The Board have had months to sort this out and if they haven't at the very least drawn up a list of names then they need to hand the reigns over to people who have a long term plan to take this club forward. Standing still, or dare i say it going backwards is unacceptable with the cash we have banked since that other club died. I have faith in them to get it right though and the fact no one has a clue what is going on is a credit to the discreet way we go about our business these days.

Don't know how you can say PL and the board have made a mess of this. It was Brendan who abandoned us. Lennon made sure we won the league and hopefully the Scottish Cup.

Just because you aren't hearing anything doesn't mean nothings happening. Did anyone really expect to hear anything before cup final. This is how professional clubs handle situations.
