That pesky random fixture computer strikes again ha ha ha.

I would have thought that it's because we would be at home on the last day of the season as we are awarded the trophy.
As they don't have us and them at home on the same day I suppose they had to play their home games before the last day.

But Gerry if it had been neck and neck 3 home games iar is surely a massive advantage.

06 May 2019 11:43:49
Wouldn't that mean we already had more home games than them?

06 May 2019 12:08:55
They had 3 home games to play after the split, we had 2, so if we are to be at home on the last day sevco would have to play their 3 home games in the 4 weeks before it.
If the title race had been tight I don't imagine the fixtures would have panned out this way, but in the last few years we have been at home on the last day to collect the trophy and as it was a safe bet at the start of the split that we were going to win it then it means we could only have 1 home match out of the first 4.

Am away for a lie down 🤣🤣.

Fixture lists, corrupt refs and governing body, it matters not as long as we keep putting a team on the park that wins wins wins. Hope this is the summer we get in the players that crush this lot forever and put us in a position of never being caught on and off the park.

When the fixtures were announced it was in our own hands to win the league the first game after the split if we beat Livingston at home.
But they put us away to Hibs on the sunday, intentionally taking away the chance for us to celebrate at Celtic park in front of a full house.
2 things wrong with this, one we were away from home and two they had sevco playing first on the saturday, which could have handed us the title without even kicking a ball. The whole of scottish football are hurting with all our celebration days and they will have to put up with us again on the 25th May😂😂😂.

Leon bhoy. if we had beaten Hibs we could have won the league at home to Kilmarnock, that is our own fault.
If we concentrate on ourselves and the board invest properly in the team and manager, then I don't think it matters who plays when, we will come out on top.
The thing I would like to change is this winter break. To make way for it games are being crammed into December and January which after a European campaign is causing exhaustion and injury to the players, I think we would be better off without it.

I knew someone would say that. You are missing my point gerry.
When the fixtures were announced, I couldn't help but feel they had seen enough of our celebration days and they were trying to dilute them as best way they could.
I think I will join you Mally 😂.

We had 3 home games after the split last season, we will have again next season.
It's all got to do with the last Glasgow derby and who hosts the last one, there is nothing sinister in it.
