This is a time to rejoice and be glad, when Celic won their 9 in a row in the 60's and 70's those us who wear with Celtic the whole way from 1 to 9 appreciated every title as we had been through a lean period before .
It was a glorious time to be a Celtic supporter as Scotland had produced probably the last great group of Scottish players . Most of the top English teams had many Scottish born players, but many more chose to not become Anglos and there was a super group of Sccottish players at 6 and moe Scottish team.
But having won 8 in a row, in an honest way and with no cheating, it's time to give credit where credit is due to the Managers
N L, R D, to the self acclaimed great one
B R and N L again . To the players some like Brown and Forrest with us for the 8 and so many who have contributed many seasons to our quest . To the Board who kept us moving along, some may feel they have kept too tight a hold on purse strings . Lastly, but most important us, our supporters, enjoy what we have achieved, urge and encourage, Board, Manager and players to new heights &? to wrestle another two SPLs, Don't let the English sneer at our 8 in a row, imagine their media wetting themselves if one of their £ filled clubs could manage anything like what we have done.
I have to add that nobody can blame our Referees for our success. Every season as we won another title the referees took it on themselves to never let it happen again.
The MSSM are also working overtime to stop us with the negative Celtic stories balanced by positive Rangers2012 fiction
Next two seasons we will all work together to be stronger and we will overcome whatever hurdles whoever throws at us.

Chris. How do you explain the 9 red cards sevco have had this season if the referees are on a mission to stop Celtic winning the title? .

05 May 2019 20:26:15
Cos it should be closer to double that gerry. Morelos escaped more than a couple so has mcgregor.

05 May 2019 20:49:44
Also the incredible amount of penalties awarded is breathtaking blatant favoritism!

05 May 2019 21:03:17
I think winning the treble treble would be a bigger achievent than winning the 8,in a row, the one off cup games, where one slip up, one misplaced pass, one bad day, and you lose, you're out, to get thru them and win, takes some concentration, some application, .
Whatever you say about Brendan, and I know he went from Saint to sinner, in the twinkling of an eye, the "invincibles", will take some equalling.

05 May 2019 21:20:38
Gerry c. How do you explain the 6 or 7 more moreles alone should have had or the 2 more assaults the McGregor got away it?

05 May 2019 22:18:33
Kev83. I'm not saying they haven't benefited from some decisions over the season but if you are being totally honest can you say that we haven't benefited from some also?
I think the standard of refereeing in Scotland is poor, but I reckon that if there was a real campaign to stop us winning titles it would have succeeded by now.

05 May 2019 22:54:30
The amount of penalties alone is proof of their corruption and for every red card awarded there was another ignored over the season.
Cheatin Beaton was so embarrassingly biased at Ibrox in December, he was not allocated another Celtic game until May the fourth.
Invariably however, I would say referees influence more of their games than ours and don't get me started on the random fixture list that saw us finish both halves of the season with three games at Hibernian, Aberdeen and Sevco, while they got 3 straight home games.
Obviously we won the league on merit, determination and ability, but as OMC says, there are outside influences trying to undermine us.

05 May 2019 23:03:43
The more they cheat us, the sweeter the victories become. Can’t wait to be applauded onto the pitch next week.

05 May 2019 23:20:53
just wait until next weekend then come back and say we get a fair crack with this lot of cheating refs.

06 May 2019 11:04:56
I believe the key to us winning 10 in a row is the decisions taken by our board. The mess they made of things at the start of the season did more to hinder us than any refereeing decision.
If we get the right manager and invest properly in the team we would be so far ahead of the rest that no referees could stop us.
The fact that some folk are worried about refereeing decisions just shows that we aren't as far ahead of the rest as we should be considering our financial clout.

06 May 2019 12:46:13
Not worried about them but its so obvious, it needs to be challenged by celtic in the name of fair play.

Gerryc I have difficulty accounting for the 9 red cards Rangers2012.players have received . My difficulty is how Rangers2012 kept the total to under 20 .
I let you think over the 3 games between us and them that have been played this season& no doubt you remember that although Rangers2012.received some reds the amount was a mere token of the number they deserved
The number of red cards Rangers2012 players have actually received has come about by referees letting Rangers players off with over aggressive tackles early in the game, these players are encouraged by the apparent leniency of refs and think they can get away with anything . The referee's patience sometimes snaps and he does the unexpected and red cards a Rangers2012 player,
This has caused problems with Rangers2012 who have banned one of their former favourite ref . W Collum from having anything to do with Rangers games .

06 May 2019 18:38:31
Wouldn't be surprised if they have Collum ref Sevco's last game at Killie.
They can't win the league and 2nd spot guaranteed, so good game to throw him back in.

07 May 2019 00:44:47
RJ10 I don't think there is a chance, Rangers have been particularly lenient to Collum . The last referee that they thought gave a major decision against them was in 1969 when Jim Callaghan didn't send big John Hughes off after Hughes had deliberately kneed Willie Johnston in an area between were his legs met.

I was within 15 yards of it in the front of the jungle. Hughes had been booked in first half and it seemed the ref was going to send Hughes off but linesman interceded and told ref Johnston was taunting Hughes sticking out chin daring him to hit him . Ref didn't send Hughes off and despite Hughes was a top International referee, he never refereed another Senior match in his life .
So compared to Mr Jim Callaghan, Collum has got off lightly.

gerryc, it is only now that we are becoming a real danger. for next season and if we win it again they will definitely destroy us. They will award penalties instead of throw ins if that's what it takes. HH.
