I just fed everyone and their granny are not wanting us to do the treble treble and will say anything to try and stop us so I see something like this to done before the cup to try and stop us. Just look at what they did when Strachan was taking over from Martin it was all over the papers just before helicopter Sunday.

Surely these rumours are attempts by main stream Scottish media to distract as many Celtic people as possible whilst trophies have still to be won .
I don't think P L would want NL to be aware of a new manager appointed for next season whilst we still have cup to win .
Only if Lennon is getting job can that rumour be right.

My concern about Lenny is, he doesn’t or ever has got in with our board especially Lawwell, that’s why he left the last time. Similar fall out at Hibernian too! The only reason he’s here because we were abandoned by Rodgers and Lenny was available but better again on the cheap. I personally haven’t seen anything he’s done differently to offer him the permanent position, I believe the players are united to do it themselves. I’d go with Brown player manager. Anyone remember those days lol “Roy of the rovers†stuff.

I don't know how true it is but i heard he left the last time due to a big falling out with certain board members that turned a bit nasty.
Also heard then that he would never be welcome back and I was really surprised when he came in.

Where's the evidence he fell out with lawell, just the other day he was waxing lyrical about Pedro and Dermot, and if there had been a falling out why would Pedro go back for him, and av yet to read about it in the rags who would have been all over it if true.

The Board will spend the money necessary and its up to the Manager to make a proper case for the players he wants . If Manager over a period of time demands and gets players who come in do a very good job, then he will find it easier getting the players he wants . Rodgers bought so much rubbish Jan 2018, he could hardly expect the Board to spend freely summer 2018, at the same time the Board broke their club record buying Eduoardo.
