It is very hard to pick the team now with all the options Lennon has available.
There is no excuses for Lennon because he has been given the right tools for the job.
He needs to pick the correct formation to beat the opposition,
Lennon also needs to pick a team that will win each league game,
The substitutions will also play a big factor this season,
And at the same time try and keep all the players in the squad relatively happy to help with a good all round team spirit.
If Lennon can stay composed I think everything else will fall into place.

I would leave Duffy on the bench till he gets his fitness up.

Marco - Leave Duffy on the bench til he gets his fitness up? He just played and captained Ireland in 2 internationals. How fit does he need to be for you.?

10 Sep 2020 12:07:14
He was puffing out his arse in those games I heard. So once he has his fitness upto the standard of the rest of the squad then I would leave him on the bench.

On the bright side with so many options it will keep opposition managers guessing who will the team be.

Heard a few rumours circulating around Lewis Ferguson. a think he is a decent player but a don't think he is a necessary signing especially in the middle of the park. Turnbull has signed, the boy Robertson has signed an extension and going on loan to Gillingham. It smacks of a scenario whete we buy him to spite the Rangers. Just my opinion. Lubo, you have been very quiet last few days mate, is Lewis Ferguson another guy you played Subbuteo with and he chose the green n white strips? Or miby online FIFA where he always went Celtic?

The only way we buy him is, if what people have been saying and Brown is finished and either Ntcham, McGregor or Christie are beinjg sold.

Would like to see Soro given chance I think he looks a tidy player. Becoming the next Kouassi minus the injuries?

What happened to our interest in Tamori?

Has he signed with someone else, or have we just lost interest.

He would be another boyata type player. I know he's quite well thought off but whenever i've seen him he's been horrendous.

Im sure he's been linked with Everton but could just be paper talk.

If Brenda hadn't tried to turn Boyata into a footballer he would have been unbelievable for us. He is better than anything we have just now. Limited footballer so struggled with what he was being asked to do. Barely lost a header, good pace and got stuck in.

Oh naw Boyata was dug meat😂😂.

Boyata was around before the rat and was honking. Rodgers managed to make him look half decent.

Yeah just think you don't go to the world cup with the number 1 ranked Country in the world if you are brutal. Think he is a better than what we have now anyway.

There looks awfully like a song there with Tomori and Castore.

im outraged by our club in going for a top brand like adidas were quality kits are made and sales at a record high.
we should have been going for a un herd of brand like castore and we can claim its the biggest deal out and better than adidas were the sizes are wrong and they fall apart in the washing and us fans are being fleeced once again.

who actual makes the decisions at our club adidas over castore its unreal no wonder we are on 9 in a row and going for a quadruple treble and smashing player sales records never seen before in Scotland and producing top quality players.

just think if wee went for castore and are skint and a new club unreal Celtic get it together and another thing making donations of hundreds of thousands of pounds to charity during C.V. lookdown is a disgrace when our rivals are delivering a few bottles of hand wash to care homes donated by another company. peter lawell better sort this mess out now. sometimes i wonder why i bother celebrating these trebles hahaha get it sorted now lawell.

It’s funny how they wore their old club Rangers tops for years because of their boycott.
The Lying King then told them Big Mike was paid off, ( another lie )
Which made the gullibles go out and buy all their old stock at full price.
To stop the club from paying Big Mike the bill for unsold strips.
Now they built themselves up for another almighty fall with bragging about how good Castore were.
I suppose you would define stupid by continuously falling for the same lies time after time.

Who cares who supplies there strips. We have a brilliant deal that suits us. We shouldn't care about any sevco deal or transfers, aslong as we keep striving to get the best players we can they will never be a force again. They might win a game against us here and there. But our squad overall is far superior to theirs. They only way they will win the league is if we let them do it.

When the reporter asked him about signing perm he didn't say he would like too if Brighton didn't want him. I think he only want to be here for the one season. That's only my impression though and I would be glad to be proved wrong.

Its gone very quiet on the transfer front with what shopping list do we still need
LB RW ST if Edouard goes what do use guys think?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

09 Sep 2020 01:46:42
When the transfer window opened I would have preferred a left footed CB but I don’t think that will happen now because Celtic now have plenty cover in the CB area.
For the last year I have felt the left back position is our weakest link and that has still not changed. I thought that would have been a priority in this window and still do.
Celtic have plenty of options from midfield up to the forwards.
If we can get Griffiths and Johnston fit and keep our best players, Celtic will be in a fantastic position to make history this season.

Pedro was about to spend 400k on the young English LWB but Lenny made the mistake of giving forrest half an hour at LWB in the last game and the cheque book went quickly back in the back bin. 🤣.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Sep 2020 08:30:32
I think if Eddy stays it will be seen as a huge 'signing' and with the Rogic move breaking down, it leaves the door open for Ntcham.
A quality LWB would have been fantastic - giving us at least two players, for every position. It may still happen if a bid comes in for Ajer; but I think we have done very well up 'til now, with the addition of Barkas, Ajeti, Turnbull, Duffy and Elyannoussi.
If amazingly, no-one leaves in this window, we have no excuses.

Agree3 Disagree0

09 Sep 2020 08:51:02
To be fair it's been one of our better windows. as long as we don't lose any of our top players. with griff and wee Mikey vack training and another lb signed i think we are well covered for the season.

09 Sep 2020 10:24:29
Right now a LB for me has to be priority.
