I think, a fully fit LG and Lyndon Dykes, might be the partnership up front, that could turn a toothless, aimless, what will we do next boss?, Scotland outfit, into a team with a plan, a team that knows that the point of the exercise is to get the ball upto LG and LD, and I believe these two will cause havoc in the best of opposition defences.

Mally, I've said it a 100 times before, Griff is our biggest hitter if he's physically and mentally up for it. He has a unique and fantabulous scoring talent that makes Edouard look like an occasional contributor in comparison. He's volatile though and that's what makes it difficult to build a team around him. HH.

Totally agree, Griff on his day is a guaranteed goal scoring maching.

had a look at some previous OF games and noticed that Sevco run hard and fast at defenders hoping they can get free kicks just outside the box or in it where it's easy with their style to get penalties.

We run hard and fast into the box and end up with yellow cards for diving.

I watched the last old firm game and we skelped them 3_0 with goals from Mulgrew, Commans and Hooper.

Fans never stopped singing whole game.

see skysports are allowing english clubs matches who are not being shown on sky to buy the matches to view on a pay per view. be nice if our clubs had that option aswell our fans can't get into stadiums either to see matches. when will we grow a back bone to sky am sick of them.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

09 Oct 2020 19:37:54
UI I think you will find its our club that want to protect the season ticket holders, if they sold it for 15£ a game then season ticket holders would be getting charged more for the virtual season ticket.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Oct 2020 08:05:51
thats no my point david. its not just about us mate im meaning other clubs in scotland whose games hardly ever make live coverage on sky unless they have a home game against us or the rangers. would be nice if clubs in our league had that option to watch there games on sky just like there giving the English clubs the option because of no fans in stadiums. and what about people who can't afford season books who like to go to a few home games a season should they not have the option to watch there team.

Feck me it's beaton for the sevco game let's hope he keeps his eye on the buffallo and doesn't miss any assaults like he missed the 3 at the crumbledome.

It's got to the stage where it doesn't matter who is appointed as the list of 'usual suspects' is much longer than ever before; whether they have suspected allegiances or just sheer incompetent.
As long as we bring our 'A' game we will overcome.

I was thinking back to when Beaton was reluctant to give Celtic a penalty at Ibrox.
Paddy Roberts was blatantly taken out by a young inexperienced defender and it took Beaton about 10 seconds to point to the spot.
His wee mind was doing somersaults trying to think of a way not to award Celtic a penalty especially at Ibrox.

Celtic should not accept this appointment after his incontrovertible bias inthe last match.

Would love to see us take on the SFA and get the rule changed, so you cannot referee a match that involves the team you support or amatch were the result could help the team you support.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 19:30:01
My closest friends are all Rangers supporters and they actually believe that Beaton and the rest of the refs in Scotland are all biased against them and support us.
The are deadly serious as well, one of them was showing me photos of tackles when the didn't get any penalties and the game last season when the got awarded 4 pens I think in the one game, the said everyone was a pen and they should actually have had 6 pens in that game.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 19:32:26
Sevco have given away one pen in 3i matches that must veca world record and the tab has scored more pens than the entire sevco team have scored goals it's getting ridiculous.

Buzz I’m no fan of Beaton or any of them, but in the game you are referring to Beaton did consult with Madden who was 4th official for clarification before awarding the penalty from the tv monitor at the tunnel.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 19:56:05
It was the linesman that gave that penalty.

Agree1 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 20:04:31
Kev your right, I should’ve mentioned that.
That’s how there was no way out for Beaton.
He was forced to give the penalty.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 20:59:53
It was Madden Beaton consulted regarding the award of the penalty if you can view the match again you will clearly see Beaton speaking to Madden via his mouthpiece. I watched the game with my son in law who is a linesman and I asked him why he spoke to the 4th official for an opinion he said if he is not sure the 4th official can check the monitor. My son in law is running the line next week.

I thought after the Bobby Madden show the other week against Motherwell he'd have done enough to get the gig. But they got 2nd prize with Beaton. You can put your house on a penalty to Rangers.

Guys I did a little research into cost of CV testing at a football club, ANY club.
Middelsbrough said it would cost them £20k per WEEK to test their players.
The EPL and SPFL clubs have been told to invest in CV machines that cost £36k but can only test 7 people a day.
I also read that Celtic bought 2 of these machines at a cost of £72k to speed up their testing.
The protocol is still vague about testing ie is it the responsibilty of the club or the football association eg SPFL
If it is solely clubs doing tesing this is where problems may arise in either not testing regularly because of the cost or not disclosing a positive result.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

09 Oct 2020 12:46:49
if the clubs are testing themselves which i already new this was happening as i put it on here in a roundabiut way as you try not to judge teams and following rules etc.
The amount of money it would cost to do it through a company would be ridiculous.
now there is two ways it can come out to us, or through the media stealing news is
{A} we are told by the clubs or {B} or it is leaked.
now my point is everyone seems to think the health professionals are testing football clubs which they are not imagine the expense.
it done with honesty and caring about our fellow human beings.
my point is what if clubs keeps it internally and players staff etc signed privacy agreement etc.
we will never know as the club would also be brought to task so saying nothing is in the clubs best interest.

now let me think HONESTY hmmm some spfl honesty and by the book never on there agenda.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 13:05:54
I would think we have the testing machines so we can do our own checks independently from anyone else.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Oct 2020 13:06:00
Dont forget it was only middle of last month the spfl announced all players etc from every club where to get tested.
As at the beginning it was only the SPFL in Scotland that players where tested not the divisions under for some stupid reason like MONEY v health v profit.
out with the top league you did not get tested it only got announced middle of last month.
now its players coaches trainers workers ground staff everyone connected to clubs who are to get tested but the price costing etc would be outrageous the main onus is honesty and doing the right thing.
so if you have any symptoms you just keep away as it could get costly,

With winter setting in the cold and flu will be doing the rounds. There will be loads of players told to isolate due to the symptoms of C.V. being so closely related to the flu.

The good news is that next months internationals Ajer, Bitton, Elyounnousi, El Hamed and Duffy won't be required for these games. I don't know about Barkas.
The bad news is next month all those in this squad plus Grittiths, Forrest and Ajeti will almost certainly involved.

Bitton took a massive risk declaring himself fit to play for Israel when NL was of the opinion he wasn't ready; so I hope he hasn't aggravated the ankle injury that apparently had him in a wheelchair after it happened?

What is the point of getting to a major tournament if that's the kind of football we re going to play. That was one of the worst games I've ever watched (and I watch a lot of games) embarrassing

I'm sorry my posts always seem negative but Scottish club football and national football is absolutely s***e!
It could be so much better if we just change our mentality and stop thinking we know best! And at least start embracing foreign methods.

We re not going to roll out loads of ronaldos etc. but our average players would be so much better. An example would be, players like Kirk broadfoot woyldnt be good enough to play in our premiership they would be league1 or bottom of the championship team.

Nothing is ever going to change (get better) unless people's mentality change
Rant over!

Arsenal are going to fight all the way the fact that KT has to quarantine for 14 days.
Arsenal are claiming they have proof the players where 2.8 metres apart when they were playing their PlayStation.
I’m sure Celtic will be looking on with interest.

How long where they playing ? how big was the room? how well ventilated was it? where they masked up? . can't they just wait the required time and hope the boy doesn't show symptoms and is safe and well . and accept these things happen in a C.V. . safety first?

The world is full of inconsistencies just now with Trump The Tyrant doing what he pleases, without care or concern to those around him. Appreciate his 'case' may have been a publicity stunt, but to be out of hospital after three days mingling and mixing is plain nuts.
Then there's the England players who broke the rules attending a birthday party and are now back in the squad - no questions asked?
Surely if all the Celtic players are tested before the game and have a negative result, they would be cleared to play?
