Just scrolling through i see a general consensus that we need a play maker, can i just throw this in. Rogic?

Before he pickrd up his injury he, along with Armstrong, were running the show. Throw in a real goal threat and there's your player.

I've been thinking the same way recently GJ, and Rogic scoring in injury time in the cup final makes me hopeful that he's now capable of lasting the 90. He seems sharper since his return and if he can be fit and injury free next season we might have another real top player, possible POTY for me.

Rogic has been playing well in the "10" role but when he was out injured we didn't have the same cutting edge so i would be all for getting someone else in to fight for the playmaker/ number 10 position.

{Ed007's Note - With Rogic out - who I've said for years should be our No.10 IF he could stay fit which he didn't do again- we changed from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 and never looked as fluent and free flowing as we did. Dembele definitely looked better in the 4-2-3-1 set up and Griffiths work rate and positioning suits a 4-3-3. It's a good problem to have right enough.}

Agree with that Ed but towards the season end i thought wee Paddy done well drifting inside and playing the number 10 role. Hopefully Rogic can get a long run and maybe, just maybe, Paddy will come home.

BR has made me love watching the 4-5-1 formation. It works so much better, If you watch the team go from attack to defending it's so much more fluent.

Jon Bhoy these are the posters that will be on huffing and puffing IF Pedro and his unknowns give us a game or heaven forbid beat us.

Lots of clubs have done business and I was sure BR said a few months back that we where working on players then. Hopefully get some players in over the next few weeks and be at a higher level than the SPL and League of Ireland players linked with us so far.

What is this with who the tribute act bring in! I personally couldn't give a toss because it won't make a blind bit of difference to the outcome of the league next year! We don't need 8 or 9 new players they do! We've got a settled team who have just went a whole season unbeaten and won a trophy! I'm the most relaxed going into a new season that I'll ever have been! We'll add 2 or 3 bits of real quality to go with what we've got and we'll go again. let the gullibles slabber the same old crap we heard this time last year, because like i said it won't make a blind bit of difference to us winning the league once again!

They did same last season. Apart from Alvez they are all untried. May be decent but not enough to topple Celtic but they are going for it. If it goes wrong they are probably finished so big season for them. I am a wee bit anxious re lack of transfers as well but i hope BR is just keeping his powder dry and he will land 2 or 3 big ones.

Better level of player this year, certainly better than what we are linked with so far.

Think I'm just dying to see us sign a cracking player and wish it would happen sooner rather than later.

😂74 year old👏, like yer man says though im hoping moves are being made behind tge scenes for real quality, sure ww won the league at a canter with this side and will do again but we want a good european season to after christmas at least and in that sense improvement can be made anywhere in the squad, 🇮🇪✌️.

Really. Mmm let's build a hotel and a museum to make even more money that doesn't get re invested in players. But spend all out spare cash on it. Just a bit of economical logic here. I understand the business model most big successful clubs in Europe use, we are a business, and a selling club also. But please Celtic let's give the fans some hope some sense of pride and ambition for however long it lasts. And yes lawwell is a great financial wizard, but we need to see re investment in the team also.

I just feel we get spun a yarn. They knew rodgers potential, they knew fans would adore him, and think even if they bought untested nobodies the fans will say in Brendan we trust it's a marketing phrase guys, it sells, and this year Celtic have capitalised hugely on this. But us fans need to see the evidence that the board have changed, and for me they still need to prove this.

I mean I got a phone all asking me to join the pools, it's not a lot but, is to me. Now I have nothing against this but it's all take from the board. So I want to see give lawwell.
