He's obsessed! It's not the first time he's mentioned us, wont be the last

A few of the 'reps' from Rangers have taken to mentioning Rangers and Celtic in the same breath...and they wonder about obsession. Mrs E

Celtic are Green's Unique Selling Point.

Yeah Sounness couldn't talk about Celtic after the Moscow game without mentioning Sevco. Guys a tool.

I honestly see this share issue as the end for The Rangers. I think some of the more intelligent bears will see this simply as a fund raiser to keep Chico and his pals in highly paid jobs. £360k a year plus benefits is a nice little earner.
BDO will be watching with interest how the club has magically increased it's value ten fold in the space of a few months when in business terms it's actually gone backwards.
Administration/liquidation part 2..........

I think rvp has paid his due so far at man utd guys scores for fun

Must he a happy men today bond ? Ps remember I said I would like utd in the last 16 think I've just changed my mind lol

Lenny {Ed007's Note - I still think we would have a chance. Samaras would be all over Rafael and our MF is a lot stronger than theirs. If we could contain Rooney, RVP and Kagawa I think we would cause them problems. Utd do have their weaknesses as has been shown for the last season and a half.}

Agree5 Disagree3

I agree bond I woulnt be intimadated to draw man utd even my red mates over here want to avoid us. This is not a vintage united side. I would get mileage out of it for years if we beat them. I was behind the goal the nighty of the naka cracker who knows we could yet do the same again should we get them in the draw
Gally {Ed007's Note - It could be the most favourable draw for us Gally. I just want to avoid Borussia Dortmund at all costs, I would rather face Bayern Munich than them.}

Sevco5088 Ltd (registered in England)
Sevco Scotland Ltd
The Rangers Football Club Ltd
Rangers International Football Club plc.

The above is the sole illustrious history of this new club founded 2012. All of the above registered 2012.

International to change the name due to insolvency law. But it's a misnomer, because RIFC are very strictly domestic.

If your like me and CBA reading the joke book then here's a cut and paste from another Celtic forum

- £360k salary
- Benefits and expenses plus accomodation costs
- £360k bonus 'for promotion from the SFL'
- Equity stake of 10% of the enlarged ordinary share capital of RFCL post-secondary fund-raising and/or IPO
- Share options - in the event of RFCL Group's share options listed on 'any recognised exchange' - worth twice annual salary i.e. £720k
- BUPA healthcare
- Accomodation in Glasgow worth £1600 per month, plus all council tax and utilities paid for
- 5,071,629 ordinary shares

No wonder he's hanging about.

See now wee have more co efficient point is there any change to the 3 qualifiers wee play next year unseeded?

Believable2 Unbelievable7

No , it wouldn't have mattered how many we got, dead rangers let scotland down in more ways than one . it was always going to be three qualifiers next season . that is why lenny wants the league won as soon as possible this term , so he can send the big bhoys away for early holiday , because they will start next season in july.. shammy

robbie keane for last 16? what does everybody think

Believable2 Unbelievable16

Why would we want him again? the guys well past it hence reason he's playing in mls.
davy

Agree10 Disagree2

No I don't think so. Robbie had his spell here and he would not be the same coming back. He is playing out his time and making some cash in the States. Let's just remember he gave us great effort and move on. (Our scouting staff will find us people who can be sold at if necessary)

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't dismiss the idea too quickly, i watch some of the MLS stuff and he has been playing out of his skin, scoring and creating goals, the Galaxy fans love him, also season there now finished and he's doing nowt for next 3 months, wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on short term loan deal to a premiership club.

Just had a thought, imagine if man city made it through and we had them in last 16 that it would be forster vs heart. The battle for England #1, maybe it would take beaten them for Forster to have his chance.

Just a few thoughts on what might happen in
January I am sure everyone will want abig
signing but think on Getafe wanted 7 million
for Miku thankfully he is only on loan and
Lassad hasn't set the world on fire yet
our best buys of the last few years have
been freebies or under 1 million also i believe
we have missed on on good Scottish players
Fletcher, Macarthy, MacArther,Dorrans and
Snograss. Lest not miss out on Russell
Mackay-Stevens or some others as they become
available I have also posted before about
Sheridan another goal today from 1 chance
anyone else we buy should be young and
cheap not a Marque signing or an old
player at the end of his career remember
past failures

Think from what we've heard/and read Miku is very possibly heading back to Getafe early. I seen him in La Liga and he looked a good player, and someone who was very possibly brought in for The Champion's League- as opposed to the SPL. (Albeit never Lennon's first choice)

Problem was he didn't settle to SPL football at all, which meant putting him into the Champion's League matches was always going to be difficult. It shouldn't be forgotten that his best game- far and away- was against Barcelona at Celtic Park.

I disagree that Lassad hasn't looked great- I think he's got something, and perhaps needs a run of games. Fantastic technique and does look up for it- my only concern is I'm not 100% on his position- and I don't think Lennon is. He looked good foil for Hooper against Hearts though. If he gets a run of games, I think he'll stand out- but like I said, unless we know his 'role', it's hard to judge him. Perhaps a classic 10 in the hole- as he seems a great finisher. (Even when he came on against the mighty Arbroath, he nearly got us out of jail!)

I think the problem we have in Jan is that it's a combination of who goes/who do we need.

Assuming no one leaves- of note- then I would say the question is, do we need any huge signings for the SPL? Answer no. For the Champion's League, is it worth bringing in another big name, again like Miku, who is there for that alone? Because we are only guaranteed two matches.

Sheridan is a good SPL player, but again, would he make that much of a difference? I don't think so. I'm not against bringing players back (youth players who move on at least) and it worked with Mulgrew- but ability aside, Sheridan has always seemed like a fitness worry.

If no one left, I think I'd look to bring in Johnny Russell and get him settled FOR NEXT SEASON, so that if Gary Hooper does leave, JR isn't being thrown in. He's used to the club, what's expected and the like.

If we adopted that approach, same with any of John Park's gems, then it would stand us in great stead for the summer. New players who've already got used to SPL- and would be ready for Europe.

We will also have Anthony Stokes back in January , we have missed his goals this season .
