"The Ginger Guardiola" - love it

08 Feb 2011 23:24:02

Hi Paddyboy

I think like yourself, in the main the signings have been good. Also good to see Lennon giving Forrest a chance and getting the best out of McCourt. Wilson's also taken his chance well and Lennon is developing Ki into a good player. Has to be said that Sammy has played well in the two games at Ibrox, so hopefully Lennon can get more out of him also. Agree with you about Murphy and I have to say that I always feel on edge when Majstorovic has the ball at the back. Pleasantly surprised with Mulgrew as a temporary centre half although not the answer for next season. Great progress.

Izzy and kayal are celtics best players since henke left with the exception of maybe naka, hooper and stokes have proved to be good signings too, ledley has been solid, juarez haven't seen enough off, commons looks like will be the final piece of the jigsaw! Big Dan is ropey and Murphy rank but two bad signings out of 9 isn't bad, also not mentioned cha and mulgrew who have both played important part so far thus season so I'm more than happy with the Ginger guardiolas signings, we are playing fantastic now and long may it continue. Hail Hail

I think lenny has made some really good signings, they are mostly young and haven't cost much, izzy, kayal, hooper, stokes, forster, commons, ledley, saurez, murphy is red rotten but of the above the favourite for me has been kayal. We have been desperate for a hard tackling midfielder for ages, and since this lad came back from injury the team have really improved. I think the difference in scott brown has a lot to do with kayal being in the team, for the first time in four years brown is doing the job we bought him for. Kayal has a lot to learn, but his play reminds me of paul mcstay, what do the rest of the bhoys on here think of our signings, good or bad?

I love trolling I do!

Totally agree with the 9-in-a-rom remark. A kid on the bus on Sunday threw that one at us. I guess he'd done his homework! He was bloody adamant too, until his old man told him to shut it! lol

Talking pish, huh. .

DT"

Yes you are correct, you are talking pish. As you say, no league competition during the war was recognised. I'd say it was a safe bet that they don't appear on Ranger's record of trophies on their website, in their match programmes or anywhere else for that matter.

So grow up and stop embarrassing yourself and other Rangers supporters. If you walked into a Rangers Supporters Club and came out with that pish, you'd very quickly be told to shut up.

Have to agree with the people calling for a bit of a ceasefire with regards some of the statements and comments on both Old Firm pages. Some of the stuff is way over the top even although, like the tax man admitted, i have also been guilty of reacting to certain comments in a less than complimentary manner. At the end of the day, as i have stated on here before, both sides have plenty of dirt and its not really good to wash our dirty linen in public, especially when our friends down south seem to take great pleasure laughing at our rivalry. Why can't we all just get along ha ha!

Ed- I personally wasn't for the introduction of log ons for this site but the hatred that has been displayed on it since Sunday is changing my mind, there have been decent rangers fans on and decent Celtic fans too (sickbhoy) for example but the rest of it is ruining the site for me, I would rather see banter than hatred, and real rumours than BS, though I have to admit to posting some BS in the past ironic or not! I would appeal to all people on here that if you don't have anything nice to say to each other don't communicate with each other, don't rise to the bait and be happy instead of winding yourselves up trying to get one over on each other. Celtic are my life but at the end if the day it is a game of football and all the hatred is no longer welcome.

The taxman

Most people see through the BS, what annoys me is they don't sign it. BS with a name to it could be banter, as it can be replied to, BS with no name is just BS and if we ignore them, they will soon get bored and go back to their sectarian bile fuelled sites.

Oh dear.

Why give them fuel Bro? You're embarrassing yourself (and the rest of us Bears) with your inane drivel.

If you're gonna hang around their banter page, and give them what for, at least do it properly. And learn to spell FFS. .

Just heard from my mate in work who is a Rangers fan. Ally McCoist has been approached by Sky to take over Andy Greys old job. Sky have offered McCoist double the salary to what Rangers have offered once Walter leaves. Bring It on! Who would want to manage those muppets.

"Hail Hail"
The Jungle Bhoys

I would agree with you there but Billy Davies wants the job and thought that he would have a chance if he prevented the K. Wilson deal going through, also Nottingham Forest are sick of the man. .

The interested forest fan. .

Personally I don't think anyone can guess who the manager will be until/ if the take over happens. Whyte will surely want his own man, but I do seriously doubt it will be McCoist, which is a bit s**te for him, he left a hassle free job in the media, to take the no.2 position and was promised the managers job, now it looks less likely, after everything Ally done for Rangers on and off the field he deserves better. I hate to say it but I have met him a few times and he is a genuinely funny guy with loads of times for fans, kids etc, he even called me a fenian so and so ( it was so and so not the other word) but it was just a bit of banter at a charity auction. Take the Sky job andy before you get hung out to dry.

You may be right Ian Stringer (bbc reporter) has reported this on his twitter, stating it could all happen today. As far as I'm aware tho clubs aren't allowed to do cross border loans (emergency) outside there own country.

Hello Bhoys. Rangers fans here. Anyone else getting fed up of this?

Some of the comments by Bears on this page are pretty shameful. But, then again, some of the Tim's comments on our page is just the same.

I've said in various forums that the "yous are worse than us brigade" are starting to take over. I'm all for the banter. I love it I do. But when it gets like this I feel ashamed.

I for one will not be back posting on the Celtic Banter page as I do not want to be associated with this hatred and bigotry. I'll spend my energies on my own club rather than worrying about you and yours if you don't mind. lol

Laters. .

PS. .i would encourage all like-minded bears to do the same

Can we discount your iffy 9 in row? After all it did cost an SFA supremo to lose his job for deliberate and blatant cheating toward Celtic? Oh I must have imagined that, as we Celtic fans all have a chip on our shoulder! Why didn't David Murray spend double what Celtic have over the last few years? Was that another lie? What happened to filling the corners of LegoLand with seats? Surely not another lie? Why can't Rangers afford to repair and upkeep the screens they fitted instead of chairs? Why didn't Rangers fans spend money and buy shares to help finance the club during the share issue. Why are Rangers one of the most hated team/ fans, not just in Scotland but European wide. Why did Rangers blame Chelsea fans for their own fans disgraceful behaviour in Manchester, who did you blame for Barca in 72, Madrid fans? What happened to the "super casino", 5 star hotel etc that was being built at the piggery? That can't surely have been a lie as well. Why do Rangers fans show their allegiance to one of the most hated men in football, hence embaressing any decent Rangers fans amongs them. Who told Ally he would be next manager, all the while beging for anyone to buy the club. No businessman would accept a deal that would force him to work with someone who wasn't his choice. Why did Rangers commit a criminal offence by avoiding paying tax. How much money did it take to pay off Polly Gwen and his bus load of an entourage. Why did no one at Rangers offer to help Fernando Ricksen when it was so obvious he needed it. Why did Marco Negri miss half a season after beingstruck on the eye with a squash ball? Who at Rangers sanctioned the signing of Daniel Prodan, Philip Sebo, Erik Bo Andersan, Jeremy Clement, Bert Kunterman ( a guy that said his mum taught him how to play footabll) Dave McPherson, Colin Hendry, Stephan Guivarch, Julien Rodriquez, Andy Webster, Antti Niemi, Letizi, Charbonnier, Frank De Boer, Peter Van Vossen, Gary Bollan, Alex Clelland, Christain Daly, Franny Jeffers, Porrini, Clayre Reyna, Ted McMinn, James Beattie, Egil Vanoli, Vignal Nuno Capucho, Emerson Ostenstad, Oleg Salenko, Jonas Thern, "Joke" Bjorklund, Gordon Petric, Marcus Gayle, Clement, Micheal Ball, Kyle Laugherty, El Hadj Duff, Jelavic (abysmal scoring record), Oh and how much per game did Seb Rosenthal cost the club? If Rangers are such a successful and world renowned club why it only a lifetime Motherwell fan ( with a string of failed business ventures behind him, including his own personal tax problems) and a property developer from London who have shown any interest. So you keep spewing your sectatian rants at games and continually put of investors with the image your poisonous fans continually portray. Roll on the tax investigation, administration and a point deduction. No one to blame but your criminal chairman and constant dodgy deals with unscrupulous agents and cutting corners to acheive your aim. Kind of takes the shine of your "amazing" achievements of winning meaningless trophies" It's a poor day when all ou can attract is that scembag Diouf and an over the hill sectarian bampot! Don't know one single fan who has any sympathy for your prediciment, hopefully the law will do it's job and make an example of yourselves, they are hardly going to do it with a big, well respected club!

You should get out more m8, seems like you have devoted your life and brain cell to Rangers for some strange reason which seems rather embarrasing for a Celtic fan, or maybe you still live at home with mummy n daddy so you have lots of free time to enhance your overwhelming resentment to the WORLDS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB, the BRITISH ESTABLISHMENT, the QUINTESSENTIAL BRITISH CLUB that is GLASGOW RANGERS! Oh i can feel your green blood boiling from here, or is it really blue?? ha ha ha ha!

Kind of makes you look like the imbecile you are, not to mention Euro success and a World Cup 3rd place. Hows Kris doing in England? I heard it was a straight choice for Chelsea, Torres or Boyd, just a rumour right enough, it seems to be Celtic players big clubs look towards for talent and knowing that they will have had a good grounding. And as for Fergus, at least he was there, where is your White Knight disappeared to if he ever actually existed. £190 million and counting. Why not grounshare with Airdrie, might even get some players off them, oops sorry, you couldn't afford them either! !

Maybe if you read my message really slowly or perhaps get your mum to read it out loud, you would see the point i was making was not that Boyd was in anyway better than Larsson, he obviously wasnt, but that by your twisted reckoning, because Hooper has scored more goals than Jelavic, hes the better player. Its like telling a joke then having to explain it afterwards talking to you. Bet your one of these guys who still gets the top scorers name on the back of your green n grey hoops arent you? Grow up wee man!

07 Feb 2011 23:56:15
So you obviously feel Kris Boyd was a better player than Henrik Larsson as his goal scoring record is superior?

How many leagues has Boyd been prolific?

Larsson Games Played: 580 Goals: 325 (221 games and 175 in Scotland)
Impressive CV, Barca, Man UTd
Goals per game ratio in Scotland: 0.68 per game

Boyd Games Played: 322 Goals 170 (296 games and 164 goals in Scotland)
Goals per game ratio in Scotland : 0.56 per game

Kind of makes you look like the imbecile you are, not to mention Euro success and a World Cup 3rd place. Hows Kris doing in England?
