I wish McInness had gone to Rangers. He is never good enough to take them above Celtic. Would have been another wasted 24 months for them. Hope they don't get Michael O'Neil. He could be dangerous.

So Concomitant "an event that happens at the same time or is connected" (yes it is MEANT to be ambiguous)
It seems our Jabba is a student of the late Jimmy Sanderson, who on Radio Snyde phone ins tried to bamboozle callers by using big words, Sanderson was a master of this, Jabba is just a *****RD.
Here in Glasgow I am a student of Wee Pat fae Possilpark and he would have a word that sums this up perfectly.
McInnes gave Sevco a feckin DIZZIE.

The club that keeps giving Tim. What an embarrassing, pathetic statement these amateurs released after the being knocked back. Know your place Sevco.

Ed, What's your opinion regarding Dembele in January. Keep or sell?

Keep - Returns to previous form, stays injury free, makes French squad, signs new improved long term deal. Profile and price tag continues to rise.

Sell - Take into account what we paid for him and injuries, receive huge profit that might allow us to rebuild, buy Edouard.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - There's no way we'll sell Dembele in January but I do expect him to leave during the summer window.}

08 Dec 2017 10:48:58
I think the club will get the best price if they wait until Summer, simply because there will be more clubs interested because of the mass movement of strikers in the main window.
It will be a blow to lose him before the CL qualifiers, but in all honesty, he has had several injury problems and missed many games.
In any case, I am sure the club will be preparing to lose him and Armstrong - and maybe others, and hopefully will have prepared some sort of contingency plans for targets and replacements?

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - I said when Edouard signed that if he impresses he will be Dembele's replacement. The player will have been here a year and settled, the Club and the support know what they're getting and if he keeps banging in the goals the fans would be happy enough to see Dembele leave and us spend the Β£7ish million on his replacement who will have hopefully already proven what he can do for us.}

08 Dec 2017 11:05:08
That's pretty much my line of thought there Ed. I haven't seen much, but from what I have seen, and as you say he continues at the rate he's at, Edouard looks a taylor-made replacement. AND, that SHOULD leave us plenty spare change for a couple of key additions in other areas.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - Did you see the other night the Anderlecht player that just bounced off Edouard as he tried to tackle him? Do you think maybe him coming on instead of LG was to give the lad a taste of CL at CP and after his first hat-trick show him if you play well you'll get game time with us, maybe Brendan doing a bit of forward planning in the recruitment department?}

08 Dec 2017 11:24:21
Well hopefully he starts banging the goals in and come the summer time we have a bidding war. After last weekend i would he more than happy Edouard and it was great to hear him say he loves it at the club and wants to stay long term. Once a Bhoy i was Armstrongs biggest fan and felt let down by his short term contract id be happy to let him go in January. On current form Ntcham looks a better player and i also can't wait to see more of Kouassi.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't be surprised to see Armstrong move on in January and hopefully that means Kouassi stepping up to understudy Brown/Ntcham but I think we'll bring someone in else either in January or the summer to replace Armstrong and keep the 4 options for the 2 spots.}

08 Dec 2017 14:38:32
Jan no the best time to buy we all know that so are we going to stick the the CB we have or replace with someone substandard. I think we can wait cause let's face it Europe is a dead loss. I think we can get away with what we have till summer then strike early in the window what do use guys think?

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Dec 2017 13:58:26
He hasn't looked anywhere near the same player Ed, probably 2 decent games since signing the contract. Its a pity because last season he was brilliant, i hope we cash in asap. Do you think McGinn is that man we will try to bring in. Also something we probably all forget now is Ajer can also be used as backup in midfield. Whether the players mentioned are able to step up to European level i don't know but they can certainly hold their own in SPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Just going by his performances and body language I don't think Armstrong wants to be here, there's definitely something not right there.
I don't know if it would help McGinn coming in as 4th choice for us, he'd be best served spending another year at Hibs under Lennon and playing every week. By 2019 Brown will more than likely be playing less games to prolong his career and hopefully Kouassi will have grown into a player and McGinn would get more game time.}

Also good point about Edouard coming on Ed.

I got to agree with Keane on his criticism of Rodgers and Celtics performance and result the other night. Like him or not (and I don't) he's just stating the obvious. Getting beat by andelecht and the performance itself was a disgrace and a wake up call for most of us. We have 2 or 3 players max who are good enough to cut it at that level and the rest are spl quality at best. Without serious investment getting into the EL last 16 is going to be a massive ask regardless of who we get. Because of our dominance domestically, I think most of us get carried away, myself included, but in reality it is an indictment of how utter Shiite scottish football has become in the last 5-10 years. The sooner major changes are made to European football as a whole in terms of financial fair play, league co efficiency, home grown talent etc, scottish football is going to continue to drift away and drag us with it.

Anyone that agrees with Keane, must have serious doubts about their football knowledge. Keane is struggling as a No 2 to MO'N with the ROI playing their worse football in 40 yrs . His head is so far stuck up his arse, he refuses to allow any of the ROI players to have a contact telephone number . The number 2 in a managerial set -up is suprose to be the main link between players and management .

When has Keane ever said anything good about Rodgers and Celtic . .
Keane's. Management career started as average and went rapidly down hill .

Rodgers management career started average and has improved every year .
Some improvement on the "mouthy " Keane.

09 Dec 2017 09:11:03
So because people don't agree with you're opinion about Keanes comments their football knowledge is being questioned? Come on Chris.

Keanes management record has got nothing to do with this. He is a football pundit who made a comment stating it was disgraceful that Anderlecht had come to CP and won. I agree with that statement. While his management career has been awful he was a player of the highest calibre and demanded the absolute best of himself and his teammates and I believe this is the reason behind his comments.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Dec 2017 00:24:10
Kean's most recent involvement in football has been in management or to be really accurate as an assistant manager. When he currently speaks one would expect him to speak from his modern prospective.
I have no reason to believe otherwise . In my opinion in many ways B R has worked miracles at Celtic . R K has never praised him but often faulted him, hardly an impartial pundit .

R K was a member of a Celtic team who suffered one of our worse defeats in the last 50 yrs, I never heard him apologise for his role (Scottish Cup v Clyde )

Now that the draw is finalised, who would everybody like in the draw?

There are no easy games but I'd like to avoid the "glamour ties" (had enough of those already this season) and get maybe Braga, Lokomotiv or Bilbao. They're all beatable but I have a sneaky feeling we'll get Milan which has the glamour but also winnable.

I recon we could beat any of those teams, likewise we could be beaten by any of those teams.

With winter break, to improve we need someone who could walk into the team - so its unlikely, even if we buy a CB, they will feature in these games. Will be Simo and Boyata of they are fit, Ajer/ Eric/ Lustig/ Biton if they are not. Hence anyone could beat us!

We are in a good place, Leagues won, 1 cup in the bag, still in Europe, and unbeaten in blah blah blah.

Big question now is will the board invest so we can compete better in Europe next season, or will they just make modest improvements because of paragraph 2.
