I have made the following observation about Giorgios Samaras.

When he is on form defenders find him virtually impossible to handle. When he's not on form he is totally rubbish. The problem is he isn't on form often enough. Therefore he is mostly pish!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Brilliant, there are about 5 other similar threads over the page, long winded and pretty boring (mine included). Basically the whole point is what you've just said in 2 lines

Ed007, have I achieved a FIRST on here my very own stalker? ha ha Anyway retiring for the night.
But before I do I am going to play Mr Whytes favourite song just now THE BEAR NECESSITIES!
I think I have "Beared" my soul enough tonight and laid "Bear" a few more home truths, but in truth I have "Bear - ley" got started. Timalloy (the Bhoy with plenty to say to all his Teddy Bear fans) LOL
thanks for "Bearing" with me, live from the "Bearing" Sea. {Ed007's Note - Nigh Tim.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

And thats me thinking your unBEARable as well.

Why do Gers fans when they want to have a go always mention 3 in a row?Remind me Bears,who won the 3 before them?All you are doing is following in our footsteps.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - I think it's the kids that come on JB. That and the fact they need some sort of achievement to cling to as their club stumbles from one crisis to another.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What team are you a fan of Ed? Is it sunderland? So if to mention 3 in a row your a kid? What about beach ball Sunday? Is that not being a kid? NO its banter the same as 3 in a row. Give it a rest. Ed your worse than a kid. You can't have a bit of banter on your banter page without getting shot down in flames. Yous go on about the Rangers Banter page saying Yous get abuse. It 10 times worse on here. Jealously is a terrible thing.
We Are The people.
Johnthebear. {Ed007's Note - When you have to wade through and delete a load of posts that only contain '3 in a row' (that's it, nothing else at all) it can get on your wick a bit. I know for a fact that no other Ed gets loads of posts on Rangers from CFC fans with only 'Hail Hail' in them over and over again. It is far from banter, so maybe a bit of originality or humour wouldn't go amiss. If those sort of posts are your idea of banter, I suggest you actually look up the meaning of the word. Do you honestly think I am going to flood the pages with a load of posts only saying '3IAR' just so that some child(childish adult) can sit and laugh at themselves in the mirror?}

Agree0 Disagree0

And who won 3 before that. Grow up yous 2. It's called banter. Ed are you not a black cat fan? Did you jump on the Celtic wagon when they started winning things in the O'neil days? Glory hunter lmao.
GaryBear {Ed007's Note - In the MON days?? Believe it or not Scottish football goes further back than that. CFC were winning things long before MON came along, I was laughing at Rangers under Jock Wallace in the 80s, and was part of the Celts for Change movement when our fans saved our club from the abyss. I hope my credentials meet your high standards.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Johnthe bear, Garybear, we dont mind you coming on for a wind up and a laugh, but make it witty or a good jibe not this silly 4IAR, or WATP any fool can say those, give us a funny put down and we will respond hail hail ( with all these so called bears on here tonight I thought I was on safari! wee pat, now you got rid of your monkeys how about some bears? LOL) Carebear, hope you are still counting! Yours in Celtic Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

You never answered the guys question Ed. Are you a Sunderland ( black cat ) fan? That's sad you were laughing at Jock Wallace that man died of a serious illness. Or was that the first manager you could find when you googles Rangers managers in the early 80s? Who was the Celtic manager when Jock was manager? What's the point you will google that aswell.
Johnthebear {Ed007's Note - Don't try to twist anything I said about Jock Wallace you sad pathetic individual, we try to stick to a decent level of conversation on here without dragging it down to the gutter like you are trying to do. I was referring to the football side of things. I do not have to justify myself to you or any other small minded cretin.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007, was going to go when i saw this idiots post. Remind him of the True Rangers fans like Tony on here, or of Walter and Ally helping Tommy Burns charity, we as Celtic fans acknowledge them. Hail hail Timalloy
PS all you bears now you know why I wind you lot up so much, when you see knuckle draggers like Johnthebear. In Lennon We Trust

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed just a thought here, you say you laughed at Jock Wallace in the early 80s (Football wise) was there not a teble win there and a few more trophys or am I wrong. Google it if you wish. Just a question to you {Ed007's Note - Not in the 80s. Two League Cups if I remember it right, I don't need to Google it, and I take it is your team he managed, surely you know your clubs history? Why can't you Google it, do you need a CFC man to teach you your own clubs history (and future)?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember they used to come on here and reply to about every second rumour with something along the lines of:

lol u wnt be singin him cuz ur skint + hav no champions league money and remembur CL is for that only CHAMPIONS lets c whos skint now wen we get in groop stage + craig white takes ovr an givs ally 25M and u need 2 sell all ur best playrs an 10M for izagueery and kyal try 1M an 2M but jelvic is worth at least 29M so dnt talk pash oh an davie weir has a WAY bigger d1ck than mahjohtsortovich has EVER had jus remerber that bohys

Hey Ed

surely if Fifa and Uefa are base in Switzerland they must be bound by swiss law in which case they must abide by the swiss court ruling that the sion players we cleared to play. this whole situation is going to be very messy Plattini must hate you lot for not dumping them out and saving him all this hassle.

Tony {Ed007's Note - UEFA were hoping CFC put them out for that exact reason Tony, to save them the hassle of this, they would have been fined, maybe suspended from European competition. UEFA/FIFA have not broken any criminal laws, neither have Sion but Sion have broke the rules of a competition that UEFA run. It has no impact on the case where UEFA are based, as members of the organisation they agreed to, and subsequently failed to, adhere to their statures. It is like an unfair dismissal case, if you take your ex employer to court and they prove you have breached the companies rules, you don't have a leg to stand on. UEFA/FIFA won't get caught out again like they did with Jean-Marc Bosman.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont know much about the case Sion have put together ED, but has there not been a ruling by the Swiss Courts that allowed these players to play as they were employees and were allowed the right to work. As I say I dont know exactly what is going on but just something i read somewhere. Iam a Gers fan as you know ED but do agree it is good for Scoland teams that Celtic are in the competition all be it they didnt deserve performance wise to be there.
What iam wondering is and I hope you can help me here ED, Surely Sion could not get back into the comp, and if the decision ruled in their favour all UEFA could do is pay compensation to them and allow Celtic to carry on. Would this be the case? {Ed007's Note - The teams that Sion have played in the league have reportedly put in complaints as well. The Swiss FA went with the court ruling and are hiding behind that to cover themselves. At this point, I would be amazed if Sion were reinstated to the tournament but I don't think UEFA would be willing to pay any compensation to them either. Next year UEFA could refuse Swiss teams (including international) entry to their tournaments. It is UEFA/FIFA that run these tournaments, not any legal system, so they make their rules and member nations and clubs need to adhere to them or they won't be allowed to participate. The Swiss FA (and Sion as a member club) have agreed to meet the stipulations of the tournament organisers and now Sion have went back and knowingly broke the rules, even taking UEFA/FIFA to court warrants them to be expelled under their statures. Without having a dig mate, Rangers fans know that when it comes to it you can't beat UEFA/FIFA. They banned Rangers fans from a match and yet every week you see/hear coloured players being racially abused all over the continent with no consequences for the 'big' teams from Italy etc. UEFA/FIFA don't want to fall out with any 'big' club because of their fear over the breakaway Super League, but they will have no hesitation of hammering 'smaller' clubs like Sion (and Rangers as a 'small' Scottish team to them).}

A msg to timalloy. I've just went on the Rangers and Celtic pages and counted how many posts you've made over the last 2 days. Guess how many? 103 posts Yes 103. Thats shocking. Can I ask you something? Have you got a life? Another question have you ever been to an old firm game at Ibrox? I don't think you have well I know for a fact you haven't. Have you been to one at dungeons and dragons park? I don't think you have. I do recall a post you made that you were taken your nephews to Ibrox to watch Rangers v Maribor. Did you go? You will be sitting next Sunday with your laptop and beach ball watching the old firm game won't you? I will get you a rubber ring and arm bands aswell and you can go the full hog lmao. Timalloy the laptop brigade. Lol.

no probs Tim i know a good man when i see one im so looking forward to your Beachball Sunday im afraid you will be so deflated by the pumping you will get from Athletico Madrid on the thursday you will not have enough Puff to blow up your beach balls. then again i could be wrong as you do have a couple of puffs in your team Commons and Brown.

one more thing Tim you do realise Madrid is approximately 300 kilometres from the nearest beach.

you could always bring back a couple of Donkeys oh wait ! those positions have been filled By Samaras and Majstorovic Lol

Tony

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Ha ha Tony, did you see my larsson post earlier? I was going to post that on your own site and watch the bears growl at you, but I took pity on you. Regards nearest beach, who cares, it is the symbolism we are getting across, and another way of laughing at Rangers, I heard Whyte tried to buy up a lot of beachballs to sell to us, but all businesses demanded CASH up front so he had to give up on that idea. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

My god have any gers been outside of Glasgow do you not know that hot cities like Madrid would have a water park plus the fact I would think some hotels might just might have a thing call a swimming pool. Good old Walter smith really drop wee ally in the s**tter.

Agree0 Disagree0

There we go again Tim always going on about the Finances you just keep wishing HMRC close us down m8 because up until they do you will always be known as the Runners up. the more you point out how skint we are and how skint we have been only makes people wonder why have the Mighty Glasgow Celtic not been able to win the league for three years when their bitter rivals Rangers have been scraping through each season with no cash and depleted squad? must be down to the managerial skills of Mr Lennon and his predecessor Mr ill play the Celtic Way and Take it on the Chin Tony Mobery Lol

Tony

Agree0 Disagree0

Tony, you miss the point, we Celtic fans enjoy talking about Mr Whyte's money woes, as all you bears growl about it, it funny seeing you all bite LOL timalloy

How have you won 3 in a row???simples.willie collum {Ed007's note - yes simples willie, we were the first to win 9 in a row and paid all our taxes while we done it.}

* 2.07 To be eligible to participate in the competition, a club must fulfill the following criteria:
e) it must confirm in writing that the club itself, as well as its players and officials, agree to respect the statutes, regulations, directives and decisions of UEFA.
f) it must confirm in writing that the club itself, as well as its players and officials, agree to recognise the jurisdiction of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne as defined in the relevant provisions of the UEFA Statutes and agree that any proceedings before the CAS concerning admission to, participation in or exclusion from the competition will be held in an expedited manner in accordance with the Code of Sports-related Arbitration of the CAS and with the directions issued by the CAS.

Evidently, in taking their protests to the Swiss Civil Courts FC Sion are failing to abide by these rules.

I don't know what Rasmussen did (or didn't) do to upset NL but what little I have seen of him suggested he could have foraged a few goals for us over a busy season when we need squad cover.
Samaras should have used his 2 goals at Ibrox to re-ignite his career big-time, but he steadily got worse and worse and could still cost the manager his job.
He has alienated himself from the fans and should have taken one of the three options open to him to get away from Celtic Park as he will probably have no impact on the pitch at all when he plays again.
I will be delighted if he proves me wrong.
Personally I feel this is when we lack an older wiser head (like The Great Tommy Burns) in the backroom staff who would put an arm round players like this and coax them into the player they can be - instead of folk wanting to put an arm - round his throat.

PS: the txt Tommy info was much appreciated...

Jinky Fan {Ed007's Note - Tony is a Rangers fan JF. TOMMY should be in caps, but cheers Tony.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thing is if look at Sammie's record he's actually been decent for us and has scored some big goals for us (two at Ibrox and the winner away in Moscow). Yes watching him is frustrating and he should be ripping up the SPL. Rasmusen is still largely untried in the SPL.

David

Agree0 Disagree0

What winner in moscow

Agree0 Disagree0

Jinky Fan, wee pat, Miko and myself know Tony very well, and his favourite player is Henrik Larsson, he was at the
6-2 "Demolition Derby" game and was so taken by the attacking play of Glasgow Celtic that he changed his allegiance then and there, LOL Tony from your pal Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

The winner in Moscow was against Dinamo Moscow in a Champions League Qualifier. We won the got beat by Arsenal in the next round.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers recent record in Europe is actually worse than Celtic's ...
Rangers have recorded only 1 victory in their last 26 European fixtures (home and away) , Celtic have won 5 in their last 26 , this would be down to Walter Smith and now Ally McCoist being more intent on not losing games , than actually trying to win games , Celtic at least try to win games hence we have been in the last 16 of the champions league more often .

ref

I'd get my nose checked out by the doctor if it has turned blue and hope it isn't contagious. I would hate to see an outbreak of people with blue noses (that gives me an idea for a new horror film.....).

Hey Ed im am not nameless and as for having a blue nose its better than being green with envy the way tim is every time the Rangers Fans mention the words 3 in a row lol

Tony {Ed007's Note - I'll give you that Tony, you always leave a name (Tony or Timalloy??? ;-) Just kidding BTW). You can dish it out and take pelters back, but you get took more serious than people who don't leave a name. I've said that 100 times before, it is the same on all the sites.}

Well after watching Ireland v's Russia yesterday do people still think that Richard Dunne is a donkey?, if he's a horse, he must be a thoroughbred, we should have snapped him up.

I have no doubt that with him in the side we'd win the league and what about Given too. They may be getting on but they are pure class.

Form is temporary but class is permanent!!
