Nevermind about possession stats here's a fact. In over 180 mins of football Celtic have led Barcelona for 95 mins. Barcelona have led Celtic for 5 seconds! Fact!

So proud of the team, the support and our manager.

God bless NL

HMRC have applied to the court for a winding up order to place Heart of Midlothian FC into liquidation for tax avoidance , i think its safe to say this case will not be allowed to drag on for 8 or n9 months unlike the Sevco debacle , surely now Alex Salmond must put running the country on hold to ride to the aid of his boyhood heroes , they are after all an institution , vital to the future success of our great nation ! Big Zombies and Diet Zombies liquidated in the same year ! Santa is for Real lol Drewzybhoy .

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Airdrie would make the treble , but mocking aside , what does this mean for the spl. if hmrc do wind them up would it take effect immediately and leave us with an uneven fixture list , and all results against hearts null and void. why is it just the williams and cousins of william that does this **** . shamrock

Hearts appeal to fans as club fears for future after tax bill

07 November 12 14:30

Hearts are warning fans the club might not survive until the end of the month after receiving a winding-up order over a tax bill of almost £450,000.
The Edinburgh club issued a plea for "emergency backing" from supporters to avoid the prospect of administration.
"This isn't a bluff, this isn't scaremongering, this is reality," read a statement from Hearts.
"Without the support of fans there is a real risk that Hearts could possibly play its last game on 17 November."

All credit to Neil Lennon and his young squad ( average age first 11 is 2.5years younger than Newco first 11).
Not a single EBT Among them. Clean and above board with full sporting integrity.
All kudos to Celtic FC doing Scotland and the UK proud bringing the greatest club team of world superstars into Glasgow and the gaze of supporters everywhere.
God bless them tonight and give them supernatural ability to overcome this gifted perfect side.
Amen.

Well said pal. 125 years of unbroken, all encompassing history. I will probably have a wee tear in my eye tonight, I lost a young family member 2 years ago this friday and I know he would have loved to be at the game tonight, we all know how the young ones love Barca these day, not as much as the Champions of course.Let's just hope the lads do us proud out there.

I wish managers would stop talking about what a great result it would be if we beat this club or that club. DR headline that NL said it would be our greatest achievement to beat Barcelona tonight. Probably taken out of context as part of a normal question and turned into a headline by those who pretend to be reporters. I would rather see NL talking up the team and later tonight hearing him tell us how great the team were after taking the 3 points. Scottish teams (including the National team) always seem to fall for the opposition mind games about how they are concerned about certain players etc. when in actuality they have already put the game plan into place to take care of the problem. Just my thoughts

As Forrest is going to miss the game, I would like to see young McGeouch on the bench. When i saw him against Madrid, he was composed on the ball and was not fazed by the superstars in their team. He was clearly the best player on the park until he got injured.

with hooper injured i feel we should go with young tony watt up front against barca, hes got good pace and can hold the ball up pretty well. what do you think ed?

belfast bhoy {Ed001's Note - I would put him up front, he is someone I rate highly, knowing the interest in him Liverpool hold, I have tried to watch him play when I can. The lad has something about him, he can be a star.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

With Hooper doubtful & Sammy just back (if that), I'd play Tony Watt.

He is fearless and will give their defence something to think about.

I don't know if it's the benefits of playing in last seasons Next Gen but he is confident and like Dylan McGeouch seems unfazed by these occasions. Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree0

Gotta agree with Mrs E

Dylan has looked class in the NextGen games. And as we all seen against Real he did not look out of his depth DazzaBhoy

On Face Book the Sevvies are trying to wind up the Celtic minded with posts of the biggest secret since the Masonic handshake , which will come to pass on 31st December 2012 .... My take on this is :
The Great Messiah has promised the Sevvies that on 31st December he will bring "Fire" and "Brimstone" down upon the SFA and the SPL , all of whom will perish , leaving Sevco to march un opposed to the summit of
Scottish Football and thence onwards towards world domination , but he warned that this can only happen once all the share have been sold lol

Believable3 Unbelievable1

The Masonic handshake and follow up patter is no great secret I've been using it for years to fleece them.
I'm hearing Homer Simpson is to be declared GAOTU and Mike Ashley is to buy the whole club, amalgamate it with Newcastle and for ever more deliver bottom quartile performance in EPL.
