anybody else here about a radio interview with sally, saying miller was quite keen to explore options outside of spl(?) - bbc ni. i didnt catch it been told about it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's just saying that to try and put more pressure on the SPL.

Agree4 Disagree1

Ed who would you think would have a better chance of getting into the english league us or them, and i know its a long shot but i would think logic would say us. your thoughts ed? as well was wondering just how much noise it is making down south? {Ed007's Note - I don't think either will go to England but hypothetically it would obviously us as Rangers very existence is in doubt. As for how much noise it is making down south, I would put it up there with farting on a first date.....from a woman.}

Agree1 Disagree1

CONFIRMED KM has said talks down south to discuss 'League entry options'. {Ed007's Note - Who is KM?}

I know it looks like the spl have bottled it again but it might be for the best because i dont think bill miller will buy rangers which will leave then liquidated this way no fans of any club will need to make a stand however the sfa sanctions must stand because if they dont it just opens the door for mob rule on any decisions you dont like

To the Shame......

Some of the posts on your site are laughable....we haven't cheated, all was fine before Sir? David Murray shot the craw, it was all down to Craigie-boy
- what a load of tosh!

Rangers were in an absolute mess when Sir? David Murray left, hence the reason he sold the midden for a quid and done a runner to France. He claimed he was duped by Whyte.......LIES!

His silence is deafening! There's not been a peep from him - that says it all!

It's all down to Murray and you lot can't see it, you're embarrassing yourselves!

You boycotted the BBC, you threatened to screw Lloyds, you threaten to boycott away games - pathetic, paranoid and Shameful.......the world's against your club and you've spat the dummy out!

Are you Celtic fans in disguise? lol

There will be sanctions against your club, and rightly so, so suck it up! The club will be in the SPL next season, no doubts. However, you must grow up, open your eyes and revisit the whole episode because you've become disillusioned - and that's the truth!

Your club cheated for years, you enjoyed the success, now you have to pay the penalty......enjoy scuzballs! pmsl

with all thats went on over at the dark side i think it is now that we must appreciate what wee fergus did for our club and to give him the credit for turning our club around whilst he will always have a place in our history i think to rename the north stand " the fergus mcann stand " inkeeping with the rest of the stadium being named after prominent people in our history i think his contribution was just as important . also bring him back to recieve the standing ovation from us he deserves not the misplaced boo's he recieved ( due i think to the appointment of jock brown , his only mistake i my book )

Believable7 Unbelievable1

It says a lot for the type of man Fergus is that he never held the idiots who booed in contempt.I agree lets show this guy the respect he deserves............green jhedi

its like this if Rangers gets just a slap on the wrist because their too big to be let go, whats to stop them doing it again, as their too big for any sanction, its like the banks they must survive.

We can do the same break all the rules, run up massive debt, walk away from debtors with new Incubator company and leave everybody high and dry, tell the tax man its 5p in the pound or nothing were too big to be let go !
were too important to Scottish football,

Sounds like a plan to me !

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Good point. The chairmen of the other SPL clubs need not worry about the effect of Rangers being relegated. They can also follow the proposed Rangers' model. Every time they are skint, form a newco blah, blah, blah. Sod the taxman and the other creditors. You know it makes sense! Follow Rangers!

Ive been thinking.. dangerous I know.

What's a popular team name or term in America?? Rangers!, Ice Hockey, Army, Forest, Police etc etc all revered in general by the American Public, All steeped in the red white and blue. What else do we know of steeped in the red whyte and blue??.

Basically Miller can really tap into a huge marget with Rangers for these and multiple other reasons, How many Americans have you met that are Half Irish Half Scotch Half Italian?, but they are not as appealing if they are playing in Scotland full time! So how's about a franchise shift to the MLS?? The MLS would vote for it! Its just like moving a hockey club from state to state. This man knows Franchise Sport its what Amerca does and does it well! Could we be seeing the fledgling beginnings of a franchise Rangers playing both in the SPL (or scotland, to appease those over here) and a parent club in the MLS ? When I think about it, Doesnt seem too crazy!, if the MLS can be provided proof that it would make them money and give them a foothold in the European Game they would bite Millers hand off!!

Evinguu {Ed007's Note - That's a bit of a curve ball, even for you Evinguu.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Hahha a curve ball indeed, ed thats the american spirit!

But with a few tweaks here and there i reckon there could be a goer here. A team called Rangers playing in Texas in red white and blue, That could tie in with the baseball team, instant increased possible fanbase although the Dallas Burn would have something to say (think thats what they are called, not payed attention to MLS since FM 2008) , and gets your average red white and blue redneck onboard! Definatley could get something like this on the go!

Im just trying to make sense of all thats gone on and is going on! Cos nothing I figure out computes. And I know im not alone in thinking that!

Evinguu {Ed007's Note - I don't know how Rangers in the MLS would take to being followed by a bunch of rednecks. It's hard enough trying to give them one over here :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Evinguu, don't think it would work as the Rangers new fans would not be able to see much with their pointed white hoods on...........LOL Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree1

Evinguu; How would playing in the states gain a foothold in europe?..........green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree1

Haha timalloy. how probably very true. I heard they were the new referees outfits for next year, so they can genuinley mean it when they say "i didnt see it"

Green Jhedi - Off the top of my head (as all of this has been mostly) as Rangers would become a franchise brand it could prove beneficial to have one of such franchises existing and operating in a European League. Technically the Parent American club would hold the history of each therefor technically with enough investment into the franchise from America to here, They could push part of their brand towards european trophies, and claim albeit at a stretch an american club won the Eurpoean Cup for example. And lead open new ways to invest in other clubs in europe and break down the walls of Fifa and Uefa and render regions like Concaf etc as worthless. Thus leading to a more global World game and more lucrative and wider audience for American teams.

This was all just made up on the spot green Jhedi and im no expert and have no clue if this is even .0001% plausable but Trust you to pick out the biggest bit i thought maybe i should have ommitted lol. But with enough finance coming in and no not from Miller. I would say anything is possible and a brand like Rangers could well excell in America and done in the right way accross the world. A bit like a footballing invasion.... the Americans are coming!! lol

Evinguu

Agree1 Disagree1

Evinguu, Green Jhedi this all came about because he heard someone say "Rangers are in a State" LOL Timalloy
PS anyway don't the american "rangers" hate all the "bears" {Ed007's Note - At least for once we will know Yogi isn't telling Boo Boo any lies about his intelligence Tim ;-)

Agree0 Disagree1

Were smartur thin the average bears boo boo,

Hi all, regarding all the carry on at ibrox. I can't believe the waiting is to see if the sfa are going to do the right thing!! Of course they should be kicked out, if this was any other club there would be no question but because it's them nobody knows if they will be punished accordingly. FARCE!!

I think that sporting integrity will be thrown out with the bath water
by the SPL chairmen. Ranngers will be allowed to stay in the league with
no sanctions. I for one will take note of who vote in favour of this and as
a Celtic fan I will boycott all away games. Scottish football will be a
laughing stock for years to come. CM

Believable6 Unbelievable2

And what will you do, as a Celtic fan, if Celtic vote in favour of this?

Bankie Bhoy

Agree1 Disagree1

Much as it would hurt i dont think i would renew my season book.Whats the point? remember the years we were told we were paranoid? Honest mistakes? Clarification on the EBT's is now the most important point in all this.If they are found guilty what will the punishment be?.........green jhedi

Agree3 Disagree1

If Celtic jeopordise the integrity of our club and vote in favour of Rangers I will also not renew my season ticket because we will be playing in a corrupt league. CM
