Does anyone think that some of the less fit looking players are looking fit and toned now? Stokes and commons in particular look like the training and diet are really working. The team also were still pressing and pushing forward right till the end yesterday. It's true these things take time and I think we are starting to see the fruits of the players labours now, and they still aren't fully where they will be yet. It's starting to look good I think. A bit of faith from the board by giving the manager a couple of bob to spend on 2/3 fresh faces and the second half of the season could be a belter! Markie

Said as much a few weeks ago Markie think Ed 001 deserves a bit oh credit here bang on about the diets a few months ago and the benefits a wonder if other's share this view from us getting fitter/quicker/stronger a have now noticed the opposition appear now more than ever not to be able to live with us which is the EXACT point 001 was making at the time is this why the opposition are getting players sent off? because it is now happening more and more!

@Jamiebhoy7 Nicely delivered swift boot to the christmas bawbles for ed007 there after months of him on here fighting the managers corner (rofl)

{Ed007's Note - Climb the mountain so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.}

Its getting there. Using Salzburg as an example though we couldn't seem to get near them. The benefits do take months to be reaped. If RD is backed properly in a few windows I think we might be into something good. I. E, challenging for the Europa or going past the last 16 CL.

Hi AH, 007 knows a have his back (sevco page) he like me is an ex boxer, Original OG, muff diver we are only separated by 80 miles lol like me he is no "shrinking violet" where 001 well he is much nicer and as for 002 a woman that never says too much, knows ALL about football and can dig you out a whole legally :-) woman off my dreams lmfao a already asked by the way she is taken :-) ATB JB7

Effin headbanger. I once took 1 of the neighbours free range chickens home. Took the good Mrs ttts 3 weeks to see the funny side of a chicken sitting in the bed beside her clucking at 4 am.

I locked myself out after a sesh and had to 'break in' to my own house using a borrowed scaffold ladder. I got in, opened the door and made my way back to the building site with the ladder. That's when the polis stopped me and asked me where did I think I was going with the ladder. After much explaining, they took me home and woke the wife up for her to confirm I lived there.
Wasn't best pleased doesn't even come close! It still gives us a good chuckle now and again!

Thought we were excellent today, especially in the first half, some of the movement and passing was a joy to watch, yes we could and should have scored more but on another day we would have got 6 or 7 playing like that . Hope the board back Ronnie and bring in more young players who can play his way . I know its been said on here many tlmes but would start with Armstrong of Dundee united hope we don't miss out like we did with Robertson, who would have fitted our style of play perfectly and would have been a fixture in our team for years to come all for the sum of 2 million. Wonder if his name was robertinio, if he would be playing for us now .

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Robertson with Izzy playing ahead of him would have been an incredibly strong left side.

Hi GJ, been saying for a long while now someone on that coaching staff decided to let Robertson go whoever that individual was should be IMO cut loose from the coaching staff, they are there to SPOT talent / nurture individuals if they let him go made a bad call on him who else can they do so with?

If we are going to be that heavily "needy" of the you system in the fact we are now not paying transfers, we need to get it RIGHT!

i don`t drink a lot, however, 1st jan a few years ago went to in-laws, tanned a bottle of malt with a few cans to boot. got home at 2am. went to work at 5am (wtf)done a days work and then headed home. Got in to find my father in fitting a new bath. Noise was brutal, but here`s the kicker was sick in the few hrs I was sleeping and I just turned over and threw up on the wife, she never let's me forget it. lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jamie as much as it's painful to see a player of Robertsons standard to fall through the net, it's unfair to say that. Players develop at different stages. Look at Ian Wright for example. Or various others that only even 'come good' in their late twenties. You never know, perhaps the whole set-up was wrong for the player. Maybe Dundee utd did him more favour than Celtic.

Agree1 Disagree0

Hello JT, usually I find myself agreeing with you mate however, in Robertson's case he only dropped down to Queens Park for a year where Dundee Utd picked him up and really as soon as he kicked a ball for Utd people were asking how he slipped through the net and he was not exactly at Dundee Utd long before moving on so the talent was there it was suggested that he was "let go" for being to wee! but he is not now exactly the giant now . A take a real interest in our reserves and development squad and have commented on a real few in the past he appears to have been let go to have kept the Twardzik brothers together and they did that for obviously home sick reasons and now as far as I am aware have let one of them go mate! bad judgement mate IMO atb jb7

If we're going to go the whole hog though bud there's a whoke regime needs cut loose IMO.

Iv tried to take the celtic tinted specs of while pondering the Martin ostengard situation. I can't help but thinking as a father of a boy of similar age that there are so many plus points to him progressing his career at celtic. The facts are he would gain more fist team experience, would get European experience, experience of playing in front of huge passionate fans, winning trophies, all while being managed by a man I would trust with my sons development and who he sees as a mentor. Moving on in 3 years to a barca or Bayern he would still be a teenager but more than ready for there first team, add in that travel to and from Norway to Scotland is a short flight and you would think celtic would tick all the boxes for him and his family. Then again I maybe still have those celtic tinted glasses on lol. Markie

{Ed001's Note - not just you mate, I think he would be better served by moving to Celtic too, and I am far from being a Celtic fan. I love my club, but going to Liverpool, even though he also loves Liverpool, I think would be a huge mistake for his career. I just don't think he is ready for that.}

Agree with every word.Celtic are ideal for his development, would he walk into the Liverpool first team?. The experience gained at Celtic would have him ready for the EPL, which is no doubt where he will end.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed001 - I agree moving to Liverpool would be a mistake.

Mainly for different reasons to yourself, Had Suarez stayed then I would say it would be no issue. However, its alarming just how much a one man team Liverpool had become.

The summer signings have been diabolical and reminds of Spurs blowing the Bale money in similar fashion.

I do think this kid would be better moving to Bayern, Barca or Real where young players do get a chance and these teams have the quality all around to carry him if he struggles.

Would love to see him play at Celtic for a bit but Scottish football although its slowly changing has too many hatchet men.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love if he came to Celtic and was part of a winning team who carries the pressure of having to win every game .
On the other hand if he joined Liverpool he would learn how to be a good loser .
Sorry Ed 😆😋😑

Hi Markie there is IMO every chance of it happening that we get this lad directly or indirectly (ie loaned back to us via his new club)

There is a fantastic story about RD in Norway (and the boys father knows this ) concerning a player called Mohammed Abu (or Abdu?) at the time a 19 year old Ghana boy that had just signed for Man City a Right Back he was loaned out to RD/Stromsgadst? No only to RD meet the boy at the airport he took him to LIVE WITH HIM & his family taught him to eat/cook (healthily/properly) he even taught him to DRIVE, that is why we have Denayer & got Guidetti Man City think the world of RD because as am sure all would agree that is an extraordinary way to treat a stranger, Me and Ed have been discussing the boy from the off for those of you who don't know the boy plays with the no. 67 on his back :-) and a will take any good omen that is going ATVB JB7

Isaac Thelin? Not a rumour but wondered if anyone has seen him play? His strike partner at Malmo says he's a better player than JG and should have been promoted to the Swedish squad before JG. Malmo players should be in our price and wage range. Maybe an option if JG doesn't sign? Markie

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think with Scepovic we would not be in the market for another striker.I would hope RD knows the Scandinavian market as well.

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye Soz bud. I meant to say if we don't get JG as there seems to be a lot of talk of interest from that French mob for him. Markie.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully got a head start in Scandinavia. RD has said he has all the right contacts. Only seen online footage but a young lad from norway Mohamed Elyounoussi looks the part. His record from the wing is pretty immense too.
