In response to Gers fans posts on their sight, I'm not keeping a low profile, your Ed just doesn't post my comments as they upset you all, I love it when you lot give me pelters He's very selective......where's your £20m. What a laugh, I told you all about Whyte a while ago and look what's happening. I was right all along, your club are a laughing stock, the biscuit tin has well and truly migrated.

Clubs aren't accepting bids from Whyte for 2 reasons. Firstly, the offers are derisory - he's pulling the wool over your eyes, you just can't see it. He blamed everyone but himself when you got pumped out of Europe - he claimed he's done what he said what he would do from the outset. What was that, spend £15-20m?

Secondly, clubs are reluctant to do business with your mob because HMRC are going to put you into administration, which in turn would absolve the club from honouring future payments due to these clubs.

I can put a name to my posts, however none of you lot reciprocate, Why? I know why Your Ed probs won't post this, however I'll ensure this post gets to you Evening ladies.....Miko x

had a look at that boy Sandomierski on youtube, know these things even make bad players look good but the keeper is good on the deck has good distribution and gets a good hand on long distance shots.

definitely raw talent if nothing else. on another note, big Zaluska made a great save today when called into action. distribution is poor though. good luck Izzy on your rehab. charlie mugrew is only recognized left sided player, (M.Wilson) if pushed, needs strengthened, Board need to release the fund for Lenny to bring in cover and something else perhaps after a jady performance today

Is big sammy on you tube? or is he the proverbial tube?

Sorry for yer loss today Bhoys... fair enough it benifits every right flank in the SPL and there will be a lot of secret smiles but I for one... (and a few others by the looks of it) wish Emilo a speedy recovery with his injury an comes out of it a stronger player. (remembering a certain number 7 who broke his leg & career was over apparently) lol All the best Izzy. RFC

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Izzy will be massive loss, but Matthews looks like a star already he can defend and bomb forward just like the Honduran

Just shows the amount of decent r******s fans, coming on to wish Izzy a speedy recovery, no sign of Tony tho lol

Hey fellow tims has anyone else been hugely impressed by the progress Ki has made I must admit I always saw him as a squad player who would only come in if there were injuries or suspensions But he's really stepped up to the mark He's the difference in midfield at the moment and I'm not a bit surprised he's been linked with Liverpool

Barrybhoy

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Yeah ki is awsome. but for away games i would prefer ledley in the middle

anyone know how long that sort of injury takes to heal? i know lenny said 4-5 months worst case but how long best case scenario.

and secondly, i hear craig brown on SSN saying that our goal today was our only 'clear chance', is he smoking pot? ki, hoops, forrest all come to mind. for a guy who commands so much respect in british football he fair talks a load of BS

bowbhoy

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Month is best case

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a fractured fibula, not a clean break as the media are suggesting. The length of time depends if he needs surgery. A minor fracture might not even need a cast nevermind surgery.

A month at the very least if he avoids surgery, although for a footballer he'll probably need to get a short spell of mild physiotherapy and his fitness up etc. so we won't see him after 4 weeks. I'd say 6-8 weeks was more realistic best case scenario. He'll obviously miss the Europa League qualifiers and I'd be very surprised if he played in the season's 1st old firm game (5 weeks).

6 months worst case if they need to surgically realign it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with you bowbhoy on your second point. The trouble with interviewing managers after the game is that they get a wee bit excited. I had a quick look at the stats. Celtic had 25 shiots on goal and half of these were on target and I think the dons has six and three on target. Celtic had over 60% of possession, so anytime wee craig bumps his gums he is usually quoting stats like an old arithmetic teacher. The figures dont lie, however, we should be getting a better return from our dominance than what we did today. Hopefully it will come

From a Rangers fan, I want to pass on my best wishes to Izziguerra in his battle back to full health after the horrendous injury he suffered today. I hope he can make a swift recovery, and is back playing for you soon. {Ed007's Note - Again, thanks for the adult decency of your post.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

heres hoping izzy has a speedy recovery, looked nasty, poor performance today but would have taken a 1-0 win beforehand, after today it obvious we need a targetman upfront, thought kelvin wilson strolled the game today very impressed with this guy, big danny looks as if hes gonna cost us points this season, terrible.really annoyed with him getting booked for a stupid challenge he made virtually on the halfway line.basherbhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Kelvin wilson strolled the game cause aberdeen were rank upfront open ur eyes

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not Wilsons fault. He can only play against what's put in front of him, and today he strolled it. Well done big man.
Kevbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how ragers new, romanian defender strolled it against a rank rotten st johnstone the other week, back to the darkside pages mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah Wilson looks a class act (although his calmness inside the box scares me at times). Really composed, quick, wee bit of skill which is rare for a defender and a decent passer of the ball.

I thought Commons was awful today although he did manage to win the ball that got us the goal.

Ki played well and I'm liking him getting in and around the box as he's got a shot on him and might win the odd ball in the air.
Matthews had a decent game. Hooper was anonymous although to be fair had very little service.

Agree0 Disagree0

Two difficult away games, played 6 points on the board.
Zaluska hardly been tested, and has 2 clean sheets
Stokes 2 games palyed, 2 goals

Great start to the season so far

Izzaguirre will be a BIG loss, however Matthews looks a real find

DazzaBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree commons was awful he is getting to bloody greedy as well shoots from wild position when easy ball in to box where easly on

Been doing a bit of research on Sion, just so I wouldn't be too surprised if it turned out to be Basle all over again and I noticed they only got into the Europa League through winning the Swiss FA cup when they beat Neuchatel Xamax in the final - Xamax have just been taken over by a billionaire from Chechnya. Also, Sion have played 4 games in the Swiss Superleague's new season and won 2, drawn 1, lost 1.
Also, a bit of trivia - Former Hearts player, Jose Goncalves, is a Sion player and their most celebrated fan is Chris De Burgh who owns a season ticket.

All in all, I think Celtic at their finest could oversee this team, but another display like the ones at Motherwell and Inverness last season and we can kiss goodbye to Europe for another season. Could have been an easier draw, but we are Celtic FC and we should fear no one on our day. Hail Hail.

Celtic have lost one of their top youngsters to English Premier League giants Chelsea, as Somali-born Islam Feruz swaps Parkhead for Stamford Bridge.

According to our source close to Celtic’s youth setup Feruz will make the move to Stamford Bridge, and will be paid £2, 500 per week in wages. He will also share a penthouse flat near the ground, paid for by the club.

A legal loophole, means that the English side can sign Feruz for a compensation fee of no more than £300, 000. Feruz could not formally sign professional terms for Celtic until his 16th birthday in September, but Chelsea have stolen a march on the Parkhead side to swoop for one of Scotland’s up and coming talents. Under English FA rules, Feruz cannot sign professional terms until he is 17 years old, therefore he will stay on youth terms.

It is a massive blow to Celtic, who helped the player and his family stay in Glasgow after fleeing war-torn Somalia in 2001. They were saved from deportation by the late Tommy Burns, who lobbied government officials.

The youngster made his first ever senior outing for Celtic in the Tommy Burns’ memorial game in 2009, where he lit up the event with his raw talent. And due to the five-year school rule, now represents Scotland despite having no Scottish bloodline.

Old news mate. Possibly not even true news as no site of any reputation has confirmed it. I'm awaiting with baited breath and my fingers crossed that it's utter nonsense and that the only effect of this being spread is that Mr. Scotzine's amateur journalism career (as that's what it is) takes a complete nosedive (as it's angered a number of fans and the kid has taken some amount of abuse over the internet over an unconfirmed report).

Also have to say this. It was written by a Celtic fan who claims to have contacts (or someone who knows contacts) in the youth set up. There are probably scores, if not hundreds of people that post on the various club rumour sites claiming that they have contacts within the clubs.

Just to name a few: the player himself, a scout, a friend, a taxi driver, a relative, friend of a friend/relative, a plumber, an agent, a contracted BT phone engineer next to the Celtic board room...oh, and not forgetting the fountain of all knowledge - the Celtic Burger van.

I have to say though, if it turns out to be rubbish, it'd created some wave of attention, at least over the internet and apparently it got mentioned earlier on the radio. A professional looking site run for a few years with decent numbers of hits and semi-reliable information could be a valuable fan tool in influencing a club's signing policy.
