See what servco ally said. He could have got 40mill for the players before they went into Liqudation! First off LOL! Never would they get that but since they see us selling players for new records guess he thinks they could have. And lastly he just admitted they went into Liqudation so now hopefully the blind fans or heads in the sand fans at servco will except it since thier fab person has admitted it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The $hit constantly runs down the sneaky fat ones treble chin, ., .kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Imagine if they'd sold that £40m worth of 'talent' when they went into administration - they might have achieved their CVA and avoided going into liquidation.

Reading the piece by gough in today's paper. I knew it was going to be the usual drivel until I reached paragraph 9 when it stooped to unbelievable depths, "mcoist is manager of one of the 5 biggest clubs in Britain". Don't know what was in the rest of ridiculous piece, "paper" in bin and will never b bought again.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gough is an ar$ehole and they weren't in top 5 even before they died, sevco aren't even in top5 in scotland, ., .kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

An income totaling £19m even from their "sell out" world record attendances. Well their attendances didn't translate into moolaah. Top 5 uk clubs bring in lots more than £19m.

Hope iam wrong but Teemu Pukki=Andreas"andy"Thom?, ., .kbarry

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kbarry what's your point?
Tambhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 tommybhoy did you read my post below? If so I say I hope iam wrong and pukki doesn't just become a decent player like thom who was bought as a striker(hoopers replacement)but can't strike/score a lot of goals as we need and desreve a player that can score 30 goals a season in PL. only my opinion and I have seen every second of his in our famous shirt. Also ed said he sees him as a more wider player than an out and out goalscorer. that's my point amigo, ., .kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think he was bought as a striker as we were scrambling about during the final hours of the window trying to sign a striker from Peterborough with 2/3 bids if I'm not mistaken.
I think we still need a poacher to help out Stokes - who has done a great job.
Balde does not seem to be the answer.

@2 Think Thom was bought as an attacking midfielder, also think Pukki should be given a little more time, btw the name's Tambhoy.
Tambhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 thomasbhoy andreas thom wasnt bought as an attacking mid he was bought as a striker and then became more of a am, agree though he should be given more time and I did kinda state that on OP, ., .kbarry

Thanks Ed. What I was thinking(and only my thoughts)but I think that and hope iam proved wrong(and know its early doors in his tic career) that Teemu Pukki reminds me a bit of Andreas"andy"Thom who was signed as a striker/cf but then after proving he wasnt a goalgetter that he was a link up player. I believe Pukki is a decent player as was Thom, but I believe that paying £2/3M for a striker and decent wages in the spl they should really be scoring for fun, if not then we should have just signed a cheaper, J.Sutton, S.May, P.Heffernan or our youth striker, not that I believe the names I name are celtic class, as I say only my opinion and really hope we've not been bumped from the german league for a 2nd time. We were excellent yesterday but we should really be hammering teams(spl) goalwise. Iam happy with some signings this year,, virgil, biton look good, but boerighter? Looks the part when fit but is he prone is that reason ajax let him go,, amido like to see more than 5mins here and there not enough,, Stevie May excellent yesterday scoring one and setting the other three up, ., .kbarry {Ed007's Note - Pukki can play as a secondary striker (or wide-left) which is where I see him playing. The thing is though, I have always felt Stokes' best position is playing just off the striker as well, I just don't see any of the two being prolific in front of goal. We still haven't replaced Hooper's goal threat.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree Ed that's what iam getting at no replacement for last seasons main goalgetter I think, ., .kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Think being a bit unfair on Thom. He was an excellent player at Celtic and was a current german international at the time (the only East German if I remember correctly). I agree about Puki though - already worrying about what we have - doesn't look sharp. I fear not buying a player with better goal stats is going to leave us as gallant losers this time in the champions league. {Ed007's Note - I wasn't talking down Thom, I think he was a great player for us. I was actually interviewed by German TV outside CP about him a couple of months after he joined. The last time I spoke to him was maybe 2 years ago when he was coaching the youths at Hertha BSC.}

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 and un-named, did you read the whole post bud? Not once did I say anything "unfair" towards thom. I was stating he was bought as a striker, didn't score then revealed in a statement he was more of a link up player. I did like Thom for us, ., .kbarry

when are we going to get an enforcer on the pitch someone who can protect players agsainst the like of lasley who has been at this for years he was warned last year when he almost injured a player and the tackle on Matthews yesterday was terrible even Kenny shields stated this on radio snyde

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A heard sheils on radio aswell found it quite funny how he thought it was a bad tackle and a foul but then went on to say "am not saying it was a penalty but" . A actualy thought it looked a good tackle from ma seat but av not seen any replays judging by most views a might be wrong.
What can anybody really do to be an enforcer? You can't get away with bad or hard tackles anymore (supposedly)

Agree0 Disagree0

I watched the game yesterday and it was a shocking challenge only touched the ball after he went through mathews also haven't seen anyone condemn mcmanus's challenge on efe another shocker and big efe was lucky to not have picked up a serious injury and again brother brines didn't deem it even a foul more bad reffing but did anyone expect anything else from the bluenose ref

We've got one. His first name is Scott. It seems a lot of fans don't like it when he enforces. Go Scott.

Relief Ed as iam quite an addict to this, ., .kbarry {Ed007's Note - :-)

Id really like to get my hands on the server. as I had written and sent a story, wasted 15mins of my life for mr server to bin it, can't even remember half my story now but I believed them to be valid points, ., .kbarry {Ed007's Note - Sorry buddy, I've had a look around but can't see anything.}

A see the bold Mourinho back in the papers again today talking about how he h8s diving, makes ma blood boil when a think back to how his players acted on Seville and a don't remember him having a go at the worst of all Pepe.
On a good note a see that young a see the young bhoy Mcgregor scored a double for Notts County, maybe more of the youth should be looking to go on loan for game time. Any1 know how Tony Watts getting on

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mourinho is overrated, never really been tested, always at 1of the leagues top clubs. let's see him with stoke, everton or the likes, ., .karry

Sally SEVCO demanding more expensive players BEFORE he gets to premiership. Stating he wants to beat Celtic when he gets there. person. Who's pulling his strings again? Smith?

The best thing they could do is bring back Green and sack him.
