twas the eve before game day, no person could be seen,
Not a zombie was stirring, not even charles green.
The banners were hung in the jungle with care,
in hope that the bhoys soon would be there.

the zombies were nestled all snug in there beds,
while visions of gelliousy danced in there heads,
and fat sally crying with a tear in his eye
came to the shop to buy his 5th greggs pie,

when out on the pitch arose such a clatter,
i leaped from my seat to see what was the matter,
samaras rose at the post with a flash,
he buried the barca and we burned the sash,

the hoops on the breast in the cold winter snow,
what a sight for the 60,000 below,
when what to my wondering eyes should appear
the people are dead its a happy new year,

with a little wise chorus so lively and quick,
this is a song the dark side cant stick.

COME ON YOU BHOYS IN GREEN! COME ON YOU BHOYS IN GREEN,
GLASGOWS GREEN AND WHITE, GLASGOWS GREEN AND WHITE.

this is my song from heart and soul against the barca we shall have our goals, 60,000 screaming with joy no people to be seen coz we are the bhoys!

Hi Ed mate, what is this I hear about Hooper to us? Don't rate him myself, but I suppose he would add depth.

Smithy {Ed007's Note - Hooper is definitely on LFC's radar Smithy, a lot will depend on the latest planned round of contract talks with his agent.}

Ally's Ajax just kicked off against man city. Interested to watch this dream set up Ally is so fascinated with and wishes to emulate.
Shouldn't he be better advised to try and emulate the magnificent Celtic?

Any armchair fan can spot a decent team getting decent results, that's so easy. It's being able to deliver with your own squad that's the trick! Talking about another team's performances is money for old rope.

Can't wait for tomorrow night, but I reckon it will be even harder this time with the onus on us a bit more. Barcelona will want 3 pts and secure qualification and the flip side of that is them playing a weakened side for the last 2 games in the group.
However we have had some great results against the top European teams before with the fantastic support rocking Paradise, so who knows?
Even if we lose out in this game we still have our fate in our own hands for the run-in.
Will miss Izzy as he was getting back to his best and there's no better time for ALL the players to be on top form and celebrate our birthday in style.
I think NL will maybe start with:-
Forster
Lustig Wilson Ambrose Mulgrew
Commons Brown Wanyama Ledley Samaras
Hooper

With Watt, Forrest, Kayal, Matthews and Miku among subs that could impact if required?

I feel we've been in some kind of limbo waiting on this game..

I reckon beating Spartak & Benfica are a must, anything we get tomorrow is a bonus.

Can't wait though, it's going to be magic :-)

I will not be on tomorrow as busy day then taking girls to game. I think we will get a result.
ED007 here is another true story (honest) of taking teenage girls to a football match.
The girls are typical teenagers on all the faddy diets, fashion conscious (more later) one week vegetarians, the next meat eaters etc..Mrs T has a job getting them to eat more than a sparrow eats. EXCEPT when I take them to the fitba. pre match they like a roll and chips with can of coke. During game they have sweets and more juice, after game they sometimes want a couple of fritters from wee chippie that still does them near us. ( Mrs T would kill me if she knew)
Back to the fashion stakes now, the girls take hours getting ready, clothes and shoes must "coordinate" their hair must not even be one hair out of place, perfection is their motto and they will not leave house until everything is perfect. EXCEPT, when they go to the fitba with me...
I can put up with their silly pink and grey scarves.
But with weather turning colder and wetter they both wanted some headgear, fair enough, I gave them each money to buy something, now with fashion conscious teenagers I thought maybe a nice pink baseball cap, I knew they would not buy a wooly hat, too sensible I hear you say. So what did the "perfect, fashion conscious, not a hair out of place girls choose?" A blooming JESTERS HAT, the one with all the toggles and BELLS on the end.
Yes and they wore them walking down the road with thousands of people looking on. I give up...
Then when we got home Mrs T blamed ME, I allowed them to buy it she said, as the "adult" I should have known better. Then she realised what she said and retracted the adult bit....Timalloy
