Here we go again, the silly season is back, we have all our players leaving and signing St Middin players ect ect. CELTIC FANS stop reading the RUBBISH that's in the papers, Celtic will do their business quietly and under the radar from the press. There will be the usual Celtic linked with 40 players ect, when you see the player holding up the scarf at CP with PL & NL beside them then we will know they have signed.
The daily person and person will have all our players sold, remember they are still hurting.

Can't believe all this fuss about Jonny Russell on here.
Honestly, if Neil Lennon had wanted him at Celtic, he would be a Celtic player by now. Anyone suggesting its to do with money is an imbecile. The fact is he is no better than Stokes (who i'm positive will be a Celtic player next season) and signing Russell would only further limit the chances given to Tony Watt. We are clearly after Amido Balde and I think Neil Lennon fancies his chances of keeping Hooper for another year possibly by offering him a year extension with a big wage rise on the premise we sell him next summer. That might seem wishful thinking but he will have spoken to Hooper and know where he stands.
I honestly don't think Jonny Russell is going to improve our squad, so why buy him? Why not leave the money in the pot for a better standard of player who could make a telling contribution in the Champions League.
I just think some of the comments i've read on here aimed at the manager are ridiculous given its Jonny Russell they are making all this fuss over. There are far better players we could attract, even if its seems a good deal at that price.

Might get shot down for this but I think we could do well to get Chelsea's Nathaniel Chalobah in on season's loan if its possible. Potentially next big thing in EPL and a very versatile player. Admittedly very young, just turned 18 but also very competent Centre Half and Defensive midfielder. Might be out of our reach already but Chelsea might see it as a chance to get him some CL experience. The age and lack of experience might put people off but believe me, this kid is a major player with a big future ahead of him. I also think Russell would be a good addition to the squad but by no means a player to assault the CL with. Dunne going to QPR is no loss to us, perfect fit for them. Daviebhoy77

A few years ago, I suggested on here, that the Celtic moneymen should put £100 million into Celtic (interest free) and use the interest every year to buy players.
When I made the suggestion, it would have earned the club about £5 to 6 million a year after tax.
The same idea applies today, but with the Champions League money instead.
Celtic should sell Wanyama and Hooper and give the lot to Lennon to buy new players, if and when required.
Let the CL money build up with interest and keep it for a rainy day.
I know this won't happen, but I live in hope.
