I've not seen aitchinson in pre season yet maybe he has played though and i've just noticed. pj is but I think he was bought for the development squad.

Caught the last half hour just as the subs where starting to come on.
But couple things I noticed.
1 if Christie was bit more composed he'd have had a couple
2 wee mcgregor ( who I think is underrated)
Looked good sitting deep.
Always available and looking to take the ball.
3 we still look suspect with set pieces into our box.

Yeah I thought that about Macgregor too, even though he has a goal in him further up the park. Thought Janko looked a bit suspect tonight after showing promise in the last game.

IMO fans are still looking for too much so early in Pre -season . True we are playing nexr week in the 2nd Qualifying tie in the Champions League but the team we are playing would be typical of the team's Rangers played the season before last and won't cause us any problems.

I think the opinions on Janko's defending is also including his few outings last season TBF. I hope we stick with the lad can only get better and if we get a decent CB in then 1 FB bombing foward might work nicely.

I know it's been a friendly but this ref has been ridiculous letting there players away with everything but giving them everything has been a stop start game but what would you expect from a game with so many changes I like the look of the bhoy Chris maguire I think was his name at cb got the last 15 minutes.

It's a friendly against a team about to start their league next week . with 3 lots of changes to intererupt style . / flow . we could have had 5 or 6 if we took the chances . positives ajer and oconnell are better than efe . Brown looked fit . dembele looks as he will improve . must say their no 6 stood out for them and the 18 wasn't bad eitherm.

I'm baffled by the wernt at the races! We were a mile ahead of the team who are Slovenian champions! Remember the last time we played the Slovenian champs! We could have won 5 or 6! Thought theyr was more aggression in our play and we passed it a lot quicker! Like I said further up the page,2 or 3 bits of quality and I'll be happy! A centre half a left winger and another striker and I'll be happy! Possibly a right back to. things are definetly looking better IMO.

Guys hope we all win tonight, £20/ £30 maximum as it is a pre season friendly. But I have read about the USA team they have some decent players and are well into their season so should be match fit, the heat also should play a part as well as this being the new club's only game. Also Warburton has put out his propaganda about the new signings and the gullibles have all accepted it, when season starts watch the pantomime when the fans realise how sh! te these players are.

{Ed007's Note - Welcome aboard mate. I've no idea if we're interested in Musa Muhammed and I don't think we're in the market for a RB any longer. He could he a possibility if certain players left. He was very highly rated a couple of years ago - that sounds terrible considering he's only 19 or 20 but he was being scouted by the likes of Barca, Chelsea and Liverpool when he was 17 so Rodgers will probably have known about him without Ambroses's agent being involved.}

Cheers Ed! Does this mean that Janko is viewed as a suitable RB for the season? I personally think he deserves a chance at it if he can stay fit.

{Ed007's Note - If Janko has changed his mind and wants to stay in Glasgow it looks like it'll be between him and Lustig for the RB slot but considering Lustig only has a year left on his deal and so far he has no intention of signing an extension so this window could be seen by all concerned as the ideal time for him to move on.
There was obvious concerns about the RB situation hence the approaches for Wisdom and Ola Aina.}
