A couple of non Celtic point's for a slow Tuesday night, firstly I'm sitting here watching the cl semi and when morrata scored the commentator says real tried to put a clause in the contact saying he could not play against them when they SOLD him, am I the only one who thinks this is outrageous? Secondly, Jose says Fergusons' achievement at man u of winning 13 title's is unbeatable but if he were to get 13 titles at the clubs he has managed in the big European leagues ( so far he has eight at Porto, inter, real and Chelsea ) whose achievement would be greater? For me it would be Jose morinhos .

Defo mourihnos for me! I think by the time he's done he'll go down as one of the greatest! As much as I think the guys a bawbag and I can never forget his dirty diving Porto in 2003! His record speaks for itself! Everywhere he's been he's won things! Let's hope I'm wrong but and after this season chelsea win hee haw! Because I can't stand them even more than him! 😝😝😝

Ferguson's record with Manchester Utd was fantastic and it is doubtful if it will ever be equalled. However Ferguson's record in Europe was quite appalling , and even his most ardent admirers must have disappointed with his dismal record.

Fab1 I only posted what I thought was true . Champions of England 13 times
Champions League winners was it two?

well winning cl two times, playing the final three years in a row and not least winning the cup winners cup, beating Real Madrid in the final with Aberdeen isn't that shabby.
both of them legends, no doubt, but think SAF had a bigger impact on the game. mourinho's respect for SAF seems to not getting any smaller, though

Norwegianred do us a big favour mate if you hear or see in the Norwegian press any player over there getting linked with us please come on & tell us we are expecting him to plunder the market he knows (y)

06 May 2015 12:26:29
of course Jamiebhoy, Deila I guess will search the league for possible players. But I think he will go for young talents he can mold more than the finished article espesially from Norway. but of course, if I see some rumours, you guys will be the first to know!

Yeah good shout I really like the look of the Rosenburg CB

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 13:31:47
Thanks very much Norwegianred a think he will go down that route too there a very young striker @ Man City who we will have a link with Bersant Cellini although only 17 he is already a FULL international!

Obviously RD had him @ Stromsgodset and we are crying out for a striker there a big young Norwegian GK @ Man City too who looks massive even for a keeper & he might end up here too (y)

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 15:16:43
yeah Bersant is. great talent, maybe Deila can get him to Celtic and also make him wanna play for Norway, not Albania. strandberg from Rosenborg, vilsvik from Godset, 17 year old CM Ajer from Start and ghayas Zahid from Vålerenga. and of course Iver Fossum. great talent all of them, bersant the best of course.

I see it is being reported zidane is not happy with the young Norwegian boys attitude or his commitment, the same report say's he is on 80 grand a week , no wonder we didn't get a look in .

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Odegaard was on Madrid's first team bench last Wednesday(?) night against Almeria and he's expected to make his debut before the season ends. Part of his contract is that he trains with the first-team squad five days a week which didn't help him settle in the Castilla squad as he was only training with them on the eve of matches.
Castilla's coaching staff have recently held three meetings with the player and his father to explain the situation and advice him to attend Castilla's training sessions on a more regular basis.}

top man norwegianred thanks very much mate (y)

06 May 2015 15:42:25
Norwegianred. The value for money players are probably to be as easily found in Norway and surrounding countries as easy or easier than any where else. As long as we can get a few like Johannson we won't be going too far wrong . I think the problem of going to Southern or Eastern European Countries is that with language difficulties etc. Deila and his fellow managers may get it harder to get their message taken on board .

06 May 2015 18:53:14
no problem guys, actually I feel more at home here than in the United page (please ed007 don't tell them) hehe. here I can talk about something I know a great deal about. the fact that I feel norwegian and scottish football has a lot of the same issues it makes the deal even more sweeter.
actually my brother and his family is moving to Glasgow next june, so I might come and watch some games there!
Chris02, your right about the players here being cheaper and there is a lot of prospects coming thru cause of the clubs bad economic state their in, causing them to use selfmade players instead of buying from overseas.

Like you said Ed007, ødegaard is about to get his debut but it seems that Ancelotti isn't that keen on him to play. this is another reason why Ancelotti will be gone after this season. I was hoping for him to go to another club, but he's there now and he is fightimg for his spot. his contract states that he is supposed to train with the first team and play for Castillas, but refuses to train more with them, cause of his contract. a bit childish, iknow but think ita better to go out on loan than keep playing in the third level in spain, Strømsgodset would be a better choice. sorry for the long post and my bad writing, switched from samsung to an iphone and can't seem to push the right buttons.

I've been asked to put a link up to a petition to 'Repeal the Offensive Behaviour at Football Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012'

I don't know any football fan that agrees with this so please sign it here and please share it with as many people as possible through your social media circles, thanks.

I'm not sure what everyone else thinks, but I never feel too comfortable when players and manager start talking about 10 in a row.
I would rather take it season by season and see where it takes us. I certainly would love to do 10 in a row, but I think it's way too far ahead to be talking about it.
This season a lot was made about winning the treble, but a poor referee, and a bad performance cost us that, our friends in the media can now claim that we've had a disappointing season because we only won 2 trophies when we expected 3.
I want Celtic to win every competition we enter, but I'd rather concentrate on each trophy individually, there is too much that can go wrong to be talking about titles five or six years down the line.

I am sure Deila and the Celtic players will as always take every game as they come and give it the respect the game deserves .
Just like fan's dream about ten in a row , I am sure manager should be allowed the throwaway line of 13 in a row .
As we all know over the last number of years Celtic hadn't never looked likely of winning the treble . I think Deila was right and brave to state his interest in winning what many fans desire. I think Gerryc , you know as well as I do that it wasn't a poor referee , who deprived us of having a two goal advantage and a man advantage for the second half .

Chris a few weeks have past and we have all had time to calm down , are you still maintaining that it was all a grand conspiracy and not just a shite ref?

Agree0 Disagree1

06 May 2015 01:10:25
Fab1 . I never maintained it was a great conspiracy . There was nothing great about it . However I do not think McLean was a shite referee . The refereeing authorities seem to agree with me , if they thought he was a shite referee they would have demoted him like is done in other jurisdictions .

06 May 2015 01:45:24
Yeah had to have a laugh at the b1gots on their forum all going off their nut about it lol
But I can't believe their hypocrisy at calling Brown a Ned when the guy they all idolised, one Barry Ferguson was and still is the biggest Ned to have ever played the game in Scotland! And along with elbows one of the dirtiest players around! The way he acted after his booze gate for Scotland was disgusting! The fact these vermin can even comment about brown is beyond me! He has always done his best and acted in a professional manner when playing for his country unlike Feeguson who only played when the wee grubber wanted to!
I hope your club gets 10 in a row!

Barry Ferguson greatest scottish midfielder of his generation fact. These vermin can even talk about Brown. Well I would never lower myself to name calling the majority of Celtic fans I know and on here are probably decent people but like a wee slagging match but from your post everyone can see you are just a bigot who cannot see past his hate for rangers. sad.

Agree0 Disagree3

06 May 2015 09:19:51
Cex how is this a fact? Because you write fact at the end of it? Ferguson was nothing but an overrated wee bigot , who threw his toys out the pram when plg tried to make him act like a professional and was found out when he went to Blackburn for a season , fact . Petrov was a far superior midfielder in every aspect of the game . Remember the time your hero went on a booze up rampage in his rangers trakkie picking fights with anyone who walked past , now that my friend is the definition of a ned .

Agree3 Disagree0

06 May 2015 09:25:37
And for the record Paul Lambert was the best Scottish midfielder in that generation by a MILE , lauded all over Europe for his ability and professionalism and has a cl medal to go with it , bazza could not lace his boots , fact .

Agree3 Disagree0

06 May 2015 10:58:35
He got a serious knee injury at Blackburn so obviously he was going to struggle. Barry Ferguson a bigot? You do not know the man he has many friends who are Catholics and yeah he made a mistake has Brown never done that? Petrov superior he spent most games on his arsenal looking for a penalty.

He was a great midfielder and for being a Ned as u and the bigot matelot call him he certainly has done well for himself. Paul Lambert was good yeah great even but imo not as good as the Scottish legend Ferguson ;)

06 May 2015 13:09:57
CeeXXX clearly you are fishing.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 14:13:58
Biggest mistake rangers made was bringing ferguson back,ricksen was doing realy well in midfield ,if I remember right,they brought back ferguson and moved ricksen to full back and the team went backwards as well,and if it had'nt been for fergusons strop against le quen,rangers might have ended up with a good ,talented ,modern thinking coach like celtic have now.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Ferguson moved back to Rangers because his wife told him she was moving back to Scotland after he continued his off-field activities that forced him to move from Rangers in the first-place when Souness stepped in and done everyone a favour.
Every club Barry has joined is because, and the men will get this, 'the wee heed rules the big heed'. I grew up with both Barry's family and his wife's family and I've seen him singing bigoted and sectarian songs with my own eyes many, many times over the years.}

06 May 2015 15:02:17
Hamilton man are you ed. I would have been willing to give Barry Ferguson the benefit of the doubt as he married a catholic girl and his kids are Catholics and celtic supporters. Unless I am mistaken. Surely if he is still singing these songs his children will be extremely proud of him. I'd love to see him sing these songs in front of his father in law and see how he gets on with that. Cee I don't see any malice in your posts but your Barry Ferguson argument is simply your opinion not "fact". So I would suggest DN,s fishing comment won't be far off the mark.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Fairhill Muff Divers, Gary, we never smoke or drink (devil) I do give him the benefit of the doubt, he's a wee Ned who has never grew up, but that isn't a crime. Do you think at their sash-bashes guys like Barry, Bomber 'The Turd' Brown and The Flying Pig etc all sing John Lennon's Imagine or Robson and Jerome covers? I'm married to a Protestant and she's been all over Scotland for Irish nights and we're both very good friends with An Spiorad.}

06 May 2015 15:18:21
ED007 you can add his namesake Ian Ferguson to this list, I was unfortunate enough to witness this "bastion of society" in full voice a few times ugly in looks, uglier in nature.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 15:42:08
So getting drunk and having a pizza while you wait on your taxi home is the same as getting drunk and running around your home town challenging opposition fans to a fight? The guy was overrated he is a bigot and is the only manager is Scotland worse and less committed than mccoist , he caused your team more trouble than he was worth and I could name ten midfielders from your teams around that time who were far superior to him , but yes for someone with such limited ability he done well to milk your team for a fortune.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 15:53:49
It would be easier to list the Decent people who played for that lot that has played in Govan . However the fans have got what they deserved . It is beyond belief that the half wits that supported the old tax cheating mob with a history of almost 140 years are now supporting the club that are crawling along on a month by month bases and not sure of lasting 3 years . What has them supporting this new set-up , bigotry , racism? certainly not the quality of football or its 33 month history .

Fairhill man eh. My grandparents lived there. I'm originally from the affluent hillhouse area.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - There's nothing wrong with Hillhouse that a thermonuclear war couldn't sort out lol at least you're not a Lacton!}

06 May 2015 18:04:07
TBF CeeXXX can tell you are a decent poster from previous subjects and I think it's a fact that we will always side towards what we know best and support. but I distinctly remember a thread over on your page not that long ago were your own supporters would disagree with you stateing he was overrated and not only the best of a generation, but not even the best in your team at the time

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 17:54:09
If you did nuke hillhouse all that would happen is the good people with decent houses and lives like my family and friends would be wiped out. And all the junkies and zombie faces would crawl out from there holes and not notice the difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I guess it's the same everywhere these days for your normal joe bloggs and their families. Some parts of Fairhill were no-go areas for outsiders for a while but the old place seems to be slowly getting back on track. I'd still never leave though, even if I won the lottery, which I don't even do, I'd just buy where the Co-op is and build a mansion.}

06 May 2015 19:12:04
Oh I can't say the same for myself mate. I moved up to high earnock 10 years ago and my big sis still says I'm a f:ck in Toff. Lol. Its funny you say that I drove through fairhill on sat night and I remember thinking it was like a ghost town. All that was missing was the old rag man that used to come to my Grans. The original cash for clothes. But I gave all my Grans good clothes for a balloon. I will know that if the co building becomes a mansion it's either you or Barry Ferguson that's living there.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - My sister stays up your neck of the woods, whenever I visit it's like something out of Keeping Up With Appearances!}

06 May 2015 19:48:10
Oh ffs Barry Beckham the best Scottish midfielder? CeeXXX You are having a laff or buzzing something! Was the Bertie Vogts glory decade lmfao? Another like the slug 2 had it not been for football would have struggled in life to make a decent living

As for Brown a gave up calling him "Bomber" yonks ago BAMPOT! Is far more fitting

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2015 20:02:12
It is a bit like that mate. That's why I avoid my neighbours cause there fannys. I wasn't slagging fairhill btw. Just meant it was that quiet on sat night reminded me of when I stayed over at my Grans evry weekend.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I know you weren't slagging Fairhill. When we first moved into our house we had one of they old cantankerous couples that thinks they own the street, telling people where to park, etc. I came in from work one night and our gardener had been to cut the grass and tidy up, I wasn't even in my gate and the old boy was out the house pulling me up about some cuttings of grass that had flew through the air into his flowers - he was standing there with about 6 bits of grass in his hand ranting about weeds or something.
I got the last laugh though - they're both dead and I stole their hut!}

07 May 2015 05:00:47
Lol wee Hamilton day out on this website I see, eddlewood is where I'm from, place is a dump nowadays lol

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You said that, not me :=P

07 May 2015 18:40:11
Lol just a fact it's full of junkies now wee shug and Peter j lol

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Ooft I know exactly who you mean, I seen PJ up at the chemists on Mill Road a while back and he didn't know what planet he was on, he was a decent wee boxer back in the day as well.}

05 May 2015 12:42:08
Wonder what the odds would have been at start of season (astronomical probably) that a team whose name began with a "B" won the title in England's top 7 leagues. Bournemouth, Bristol City, Barrow, Bromley, Burton, Barnet and Boring, Boring Chelsea lol

Believable6 Unbelievable5

05 May 2015 21:52:40
Being a gambler Tim and taking away chelski , what sort of odds would you have been looking at for the other six , astronomical I would imagine, got a cracking wee price boost double up on tonight's game by the way tevez and Ronaldo both to score anytime at 7 to 1 .
