Hi Lubo mate, thanks for the kind words about LFC mate, I wish Celtic every success. We have a great crop of young players mate, Pep Guerdiola said are youngsters were the only ones who could challenge Barca which tells you how good some our. To name a few of the bright sparks to look out for Ed when we take over your horrible lot Suso is unreal mate, he's in the mould of David Silva and tears teams apart when he wants. Sterling is proberly the biggest hope the academy has had since Gerrard he's that good some say the closest thing they've seen to John Barnes and we have Wisdom who has captained England at every level he's played at and is a tremendous CB add to that Robinson, Kelly, Coady, Henderson, Flannagan and Texeira and we really are looking good. Certainly better than those horrible Mancs mate ;-) I think its a method Celtic should look at, trying to get your academy as good as possible as its the only way to compete anymore. Nice to see you say don't buy the s*n mate we need to get rid of that digusting filth. That's why I like this site there are lots of very good, nice posters. Any stars in the Celtic Academy I should look out for Ed mate?

Smithy {Ed007's Note - No love for The S*n on here buddy. CFC has the best youth we have had in long time just now Smithy. The Twardzik twins, Tony Watt, James Keatings are all looking good. Dylan McGeouch looks like he could be a fantastic player and we signed Rabui Ibrahim in January who I am looking forward to seeing. Most young players seem to be getting a chance now as well which is a good sign. A lot of our first team are young, you must have noticed Wanyama? He is only 20 and there is no way we will keep him for years, the boy is a monster on the park and could end up at the very top IMO.}

Are Tims just too nice? I ask this because most of us have shown respect with posts these past few days, and what do we get back in return. "tainted titles" Sally moaning at Celtic, Traynor etc.. still trying to drag Celtic into argument, the morons posts about Paul McBride (sick!) the old song book at Ibrokes being belted out, the "watp" mentality everywhere. "boycott all away games" Sly tv need us, etc...
Rangers pal at weekend even tried to justify "watp" as a quote from bible. Yes but we all know their fans hijacked it's meaning to mean "superior" just like nazis hijacked the swastika, which was a symble of PEACE, until Hitler defiled it's meaning, same as them with watp.

was like Mourhino an arrogant person, but nobody seems to be blaming the players at Chelski, I even heard they did not want Di Mateo in harge,
Chelsea are losing games because of these players, Cole, Terry, Lampard, Drogba etc.. these players should be apologising to their fans for their efforts this season, not plotting to get rid of a manager they do not like. This "clique" is the problem, I hope new manager goes in and ships them all out or better still, put them in reserves. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Chelsea need a manager with a strong personality to sort out the dressing room, plus he must be backed by the owner over such matters.}

As much as i dont like the way he comes across as a manager there is a man out there that would sort out the prima donnas in the chelsea dressing room and that man is Greame Souness but i doubt he wants back into football. heard a wee joke today that Mr Whyte was seen in william hill today and stuck another tapped quid on Berti Vogts at 500million/1 to be next chelsea manager lol

Thanks Mrs.E lol. Its the arrogance of some Rangers fans that is starting to astound me. The ones who think that all of Scottish football should be doing whatever they can to save Rangers because without them they wouldn't be able to cope. Who arrogant can you get? I'd bet on Motherwell finishing above Rangers this season the way they're going and yet more arrogance with the default title crap. Rant over lol.

A man has been arrested after allegedly making online threats towards Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

The 20-year-old is in police custody after being accused of posting threatening comments on a social networking website.

He was arrested at his home in Glasgow by officers from Strathclyde Police’s major crime and terrorism investigation unit on Monday.

The force confirmed the man had been charged over comments about Mr Lennon under the Scottish Government’s recently introduced threatening communication act.

Assistant Chief Constable Ruaraidh Nicolson said: "Posting threatening or offensive comments online is a crime, people may think that this is something they can do anonymously and there will be no repercussions but that is simply not the case - just because it's online does not mean that the police won't do anything about it - I can assure you we will."

The man is anticipated to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in connection with the incident on Tuesday.

It will be very interesting to see the full report,when published,of this rangers administration.With every admin event i can remember the cost cutting starts as soon as they enter the building.Motherwell,Dundee,both had huge cuts made within hours of the admin starting.You would think that HMRC are watching this one closely as it's now verging into the ridiculous.I look forward to Duff & Phelps next press conference,should be interesting finding out why certain things they claimed needed to happen have not been implemented.Thats now two wage bills they havent trimmed,very strange in an administration event.......green jhedi

It does seem that every day brings more questions than answers in this case.
Administrators usually make cost-cutting priorities asap and are in place to make unpopular decisions based on bare economics, swiftly to appease creditors.
This lot were very vague and ambigious in their first press conference and
there are now concurrent enquiries into various allegations of misconduct to complicate matters even more.
So this is just not an Administration issue, more like a 'Whodunnit' for Taggart.

1. Rangers liquidated - Debts cleared.
2. Rangers apply to English League.
3. Start in lowest division.
Protests from non-league clubs ignored.
Rangers crowds and revenue too good
to resist. Rangers MAY advance up Divisions. {Ed001's Note - it is unlikely to happen, very unlikely. They would have to be voted into the English League by other teams. How many clubs are going to vote for them to join?}

There is nothing officially that stops the new Rangers to apply, technically they would be a new team with 50,000 fans so they could apply to any league they want.

I'm a Gers fan and I for one would like us to explore this avenue, especially when you consider we will have no europe for 3 years, prob start each season with sanctions ie 15 points deducted before we start. Why not apply for the conference? I think they may be up for it considering the financial benefits of a newco Rangers joining their league, which I might add is skint! If that is not a possibility, I would prefer to start in Scottish D3, that way noone can say we got any favors etc. If all the other SPL teams want to punish us I would punish them by demanding we start in D3 and the TV deal etc is screwed.

Its a double edged sword, let us in with no sanctions, or dont and lose the TV revenue. Make your choice. The other teams in Scotland need to realise that we are the reason for the TV deal, without us SKY are not interested so I would be careful what you wish for as we can start at D3 and work our way up in 3 years.

Whatever happens, we dont do walking away... Newco or not we will follow on

they set the rules for European football and a rule they changed a few years ago was you cant play in a league outwith your own country. go check UEFA website or even email them and im sure they will reply and tell you the same thing

Swansea Cardiff and even Monaco play outwith there own country as they have been doing that BEFORE the laws were changed

Yes I do think 50,000 fans would still be there. The very fact that we have something to aim at ie the EPL would mean the fans would be loving it, York etc would be more exciting than some of the pish in the SPL

Ed - Uefa cannot block the move as Rangers 2012 would be free to apply for whatever league they want as they are a NEW COMPANY

oh and the title is tainted because you won it by default, we were 4 points behind before we went into admin, definitelty not out of it.
