Heard anything new transfer wise Ed, in or out? Seems to have gone quiet since the Musonda links but Rodgers still hopeful of getting someone in soon apparently.

If Armstrong stats I think we are ok in mid with him Brown McGregor rogic and kouassi Henderson possibly ajer biton filling in / rotating . out wide l think we could do with one more experienced player . with another in that would be 4 fighting for the two spots Sinclair hayes forrest and hopefully miller and nesbitt pushing them good thing here all 5 can play both wings and still Christie who I hope improves more this season on loan if he stayed I don't think we needed another. full backs u think ok leaving the priority for me a cb . strker and goalie where in each dept I think we are short.

We need more creativity. McGregor and Rogic are the only 2 players who really create chances. Only 2 goals in preseason shows that, barely created any chances in those games either. What made Roberts so good was that he was a winger but with the ability to cut teams open with one pass. We need someone else who can do that from the wing. Won't be easy to find. Musonda would have been ideal.

Griffiths 8 assists Armstrong and Sinclair 7 forrest 6 . now hayes who was the highest in league last year all more than rogic and forrest equal with mcgegor. (did you mean assists as regard to chances lm? ) I agree that a top drawer playmaker would be great . maybe if Armstrong goes one will come in . where does the boy musonda actually play lm. central or wide?

I think that we need a left sided central defender more than a 10. Boyata and Simanovic do not look comfortable on the left someone like Micheal Djiks who can play in a back three or as a four. Tall, strong and fast. In a three Tierney and Forest would push on and support Brown and Armstong in the middle with Sinclair Dembele and Griffiths up front or Macgregor or Rogic coming in for one of the above.

Tierney could make that move with Izzy at lb if ever needed.

Jonace-I remember a wee player Celtic had one time I watched him as a laddie. I think his name was Johnstone. That's it I remember now. And so do 80,000 Real Madrid supporters at Alfredo De Stefano's testimonial. James Johnstone. James Connelly Johnstone in fact. We called him Jinky. He wasn't tall enough either. Away and lie doon. KT has the potential to be better than Danny McGrain and that's saying something and to be world class. Don't rule out people speaking about Pauli Maldini, Danny McGrain, Roberto Carlos and Kieran Tierney in years to come. ☘️.

franco baresi 5ft 9 . him and maldini best partnership i've seen . so height s not everything but agree with everyone saying young kt should be played where he is . ots pk being versatile but every player has a position they excell at and the boy def best left back we've had in a very long time.

Agree with what your all saying, but did the op not say we COULD play him at cb IF we reverted to a back three for whatever reason.

JFP1888 . A little problem with your post Jimmy Johnstone was called wee Jimmy throughout his playing career. It was a long time dutring his retirement that fans and friends started calling him Jinky .
During that particular game the Spaniards called him " flying flea"
