Eddy just gets better with every game, we are watching a special talent right now I think. I’d love him to sign a new contract and give us another year at least ( as like most here, fear he will be off in the summer ) . It’s funny now as the discussion over who is the best striker between eddy and him have completely subsided. Even the Rangers must know who is the better player 🍀.

I seen on social media that Edouard could nutmeg a mermaid. 😂.

Edouard's stock just keeps rising. Free kicks now cemented as a string to his bow. According to Sutton he's the closest thing since Larsson. I'd have to agree. McGregor really deserved his goal tonight, man of the match for me. A fantastic win away to that team. Well done Bhoys.

This was one of the best results and performances of the season against a very well organized, fit and physical that pushed us all the way. OK there were a few shaky starters and mistakes, but the way we took control - at a very difficult venue and created so many chances - it was a real test of character, stamina and determination and a lot of people would have expected us to wobble.
Excellent win, some brilliant attacking moves, terrific goals.
Cal-Mac is another Maestro, Griff is the old Griff and Eddy is the new Pele ha ha.

Agree Liam. Edouard will go for the Dembele Dollars (real money, not mystery bids) , but CalMac is the man that really makes us take. Lennon touched on him being underrated. Personally I hope he continues to go under radars because he's so important to us. Consistently been our best player over the past two seasons for me.

Good reply Celtic_mad. To a T 👍.

Mally, Ajer is having a few whoopsy moments lately, totally agree, and as much as he needs to start stamping them out, let's not forget he's still 21. Incredibly young for a CB still. We need to accept him making mistakes, in order to learn and improve.

What is it that Forrest brings. Sloppy in his open play and seems to have lost that spark where he would seem to drift past defenders with ease. It's getting more and more frustrating watching him.

16 goals and 15 assists and its only the beginning of February.

make that 16 assists.

05 Feb 2020 21:21:04
Another assist for Forest, first decent pass behind the defender. came from Christie. The problem is not Forrest it is Ntcham dos, nt tackle provides very little when it comes to a fight.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 21:44:21
Forrest is incredibly frustrating to watch over 90 mins. Always has been foe me. He does pop up with goals and assists though and there's no complaints with his contribution in that dept.

😂😂 He's already smelt blood.

05 Feb 2020 22:27:23
While Forest isn’t standing out at the minute, I’d say it’s more to do with other players who are playing out of their skin, and a change of system which probably doesn’t give him as much space to work in or an overlap to help him .
He is still contributing regularly.
Jonace said about ntcham but I thought ntcham played well tonight, it’s strange how different fans see things differently. As long as we are winning and keep turning the screws on the Rangers.

Hahaha sorry ed007 Forrest's makes me go nuts kept loosing the ball the amount of times he has the ball does nothing, it's frustrating.
Yes he laid one on and scores but for me not enough end product for the amount of chances he has. I still want him in the team tho as he's opens teams up. Lenny could have have clamila a longer game 10 mins no gd he has to play him on Sunday let's see what he'd got.

I see that Sky sports have issued an apology regarding the Morelos interview. It looks like an absolute cop out as they forget to mention who was actually responsible for the translation. If it was down to me I would tell them where to shove it.

The incredible HYPOCROSY of SLY

This afternoon I was watching Sly Sports ( I know, I know) they were doing a piece on the Rugby League player who said some nasty homophobic things and was sacked by one club, but has since got a lucrative contract in France.
Anyway, the reporter prefaced the interview by saying "we cannot ascertain the VERACITY of some sections of this interview as it was given to Sly by his agent" WTF, after the El Coo interview which they aired WITHOUT checking that and now have the temerity to say this today. Total hypocrites.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

05 Feb 2020 22:15:33
This is obviously a reaction to the Morelos interview, where they were given the translation by The rangers, or someone connected to The rangers, and from now on they will put in a disclaimer to cover their backs.

BBC have dropped Michael Stewart for telling the truth about jabba. unbelievable.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - He's on BT tonight.}

05 Feb 2020 18:49:50
He will probably be barred from discussing his bbc comments. I’m glad I found another way to watch Celtic without giving a penny to sly or bt. just need to stop paying Bbc and they can all go off and rot.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I get BT free from Virgin and I've not paid my licence fee for about 10 years mate, it's easier than you think. Me and the Mrs used to argue about it - she's weird that way - but now she doesn't bother about it at all.}

Said this morning that he could suffer the same fate as Jim Spence.
'The Establishment' runs deep and wide within the media and there is certainly a totalitarian attitude when it comes to telling the truth about TRIFC 2012, any of their employees, associates or the honest truth about their short sordid history. Roll-on administration.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

05 Feb 2020 19:33:48
Are they going to punish all teams when one player pushes another? Since when did one incident with one player mean punishment for the whole team? No other country would this happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 19:39:25
It's a 'kangaroo court' as they had to be seen to be punishing Celtic in some form to appease the overreacting knuckle draggers wi their torches and pitchforks. Celtic Football Club have carried Scottish football on our back, for a decade, earning TV/ prize money a-plenty and regularly attracting players ALL the other clubs can only dream of, improving attendances and quality.
One day, we should just tell them to Feck-Off and leave them to perish and rot in their own filth.

Team and subs for tonight. With players due back tonight it’s hard to pick the bench with such a big squad. I don’t think we need Bauer and Boli on the bench. I have picked Bauer because he can play either side if needed.
Forster
Jozo. Jullian. Ajar
Forrest. Christie Brown Mcgregor Taylor
Edouard Griffiths
Subs Bain, Bauer, Welsh, Ntcham, Rogic
Elyounoussi and Polish Paddy.

Lenny has went with Boli on the bench and dropped Bauer. He has probably made the correct decision because Ajar can move to right back if need be.

100% mally . I actually don’t mind McCoist ( for a person ) . When we score a good goal or play well, he has the decency to admit it. Sky are visually raging if we win or score a good goal. Boydy Mccann are bitter Rangers who can’t hide their dislike for us.

05 Feb 2020 17:26:07
Sly won the rights to Scottish football coverage last year going forward. This will be the last season bt will show coverage to our games which is unfortunate because they are a far superior channel.

Michael Stewart has had a late call up from bt for the game tonight. He will be joined by WGS, Sutton and Craigan. Should be interesting because I can’t see Sutton holding back with questions. I think the program starts an hour before kick off.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 17:48:48
I understand SLY had secured the rights as of next season, but I don't know how long for? I totally agree with the above comments about preferring BT (even though I don't have it any more) and I think they will have shown our last three away games in the SPL - somehow, I wouldn't expect SLY to do the same?

What exactly did Michael Stewart say about jabba?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

05 Feb 2020 10:03:03
Absolutely superb from Stewart. pulls no punches with regards to Jabba! Great to hear honestly! The sevconians lap up every word he says! The most moronic club in football history bar none! The old co where the same but this new entity has taken it to a whole new level!

Agree5 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 10:36:19
Unfortunately the Sevco sympathizers at the BBC were very quick to apologize and I wonder if Stewart will suffer the same fate as Jim Spence for his honesty over 'The old club that died' quote?

Agree2 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 14:25:33
Celtic fans got in touch with Jim yesterday about the Michael Stewart incident and he said that him and Michael will be okay. He went on to say that” they can take my livelihood but they can’t take my furniture, Oh Wait there’s a sheriffs officer at my door”. At least Jim has kept his sense of humour, considering the way he was treated.

So Griffiths didn't stamp on a player and El Coo wasn't racially abused it would appear? If we do 9IAR (again) this year it's scary to think what the MSM and Sky will come up with when we're on our way to make it 10.

05 Feb 2020 10:45:37
It's a brilliant time to be a Celtic supporter and as a (OK, Ed; auld guy alert! ) senior fan who saw the last 9-in-a-row, I can sense much more hurt, cheap-shots and bitterness than the last time.
Back then they decided on league reconstruction as a deterrent, I wonder what they will come up with if we do it again?

Agree3 Disagree0

05 Feb 2020 09:13:24
This group of Celtic players have proved over the years they can cope with the pressure and all the high expectations that come with playing for such a massive club. When they do get a bad result they seem to go on another winning streak.
To have won 21 league games already with all the pressure involved is brilliant.
Back in 1998 when we stopped 10 in a row, it took Celtic till the 18th April to secure our 21st league win. It just shows that Broony and the Bhoys have got what it takes. There will still be a few more bumps but this group of players will not accept defeat in this country.
