Hi All

Watch a lot of Italian football and have to put this name forward. Paolo Cannavaro, clearly not needed at Napoli and has all the attributes to be off use to Celtic and help Van Dijk progress even more.

Wouldn't expect him to cost much either in transfer fee but wages may be outwith our budget!

For me we either go for a young cb with pedigree or an experienced player at the top level . For me, the second option, and this guy certainly falls into that bracket. To get someone of this sort of quality, whose overall package may still be the same as spending several million on a younger player is what we should be doing to find a partner for virgil. Why has NL played Sammy? and Kayal?
This week Kayal stated that he has "fell out of love with scottish football" so why play him? He hasn't ben half the player since his injury.
Sammy won't sign a new deal regards of his years at the club, a player can't be rewarded for this if he is so adamant not to sign a new deal, it doesn't matter that he scored.

NL said Pukki and Balde would get a chance, this is yet to be seen. He should be playing more youth and give Ambrose, Van Djik, Forster, Izagurrie a break due to the world cup.
