Ok I'm totally bricking it. The world famous manager Stevie Gerrard is taking over the mighty rangers. He has a fabulous squad full of world beaters and has millions and millions to spend on new and wonderful players and all we Celtic supporters have to look forward to is a relegation fight, no new players and having to suffice with only a team of double treble winners. How I will sleep again is beyond me. I know it's Friday but I really must stop sniffing glue so early. Hahahahahaha 3 to go to 10 in a row and Stevie G has joined the show. By 6 months in the axe will fall coz sevco once again will win feck all. It's such a shame he'll try his best but Stevies career won't pass the test. Another manager will come and go as Brendan Rogers wins 10 in a row. Hail hail.

So ask yourself these questions

1. Who is better manager, Rodgers or Gerrard?

2. Which team has the best squad, Celtic or Rangers?

3. Which team is going to spend the most money in the summer, Celtic or Rangers?

If you answered Rodgers, Celtic and Celtic, then you are thinking the same as me. How on earth is a rookie manager, with a rubbish team and a smaller budget going to topple us?

The answer is he isn't, so get down the bookies and see what odds you can get for Gerrard to be sacked by Xmas.

Our worry is not Gerrards coaching / managerial skills his ambition his contacts or his budget. . our worry is as always . that our board give a winning manager all the funding he needs . be it for player recruitment staff recruitment. research and development of training methods / skills / sports science or any area he wants to enhance / improve.

Gerrard is brining hid under 18's coaching staff with him so apart from McAllister all are working with youths. Gerrard may have a pull on great players but all great players want paid. If he goes for several youth players from Liverpool they may struggle in Scotland. Look at Mousonda? If it goes wrong this time where on earth do Rangers go next? If Gerrard gets the sack it looks like a 4 year pay off for him and his team. Why would a club put a totally untested manager on a 4 year deal. This may go very wrong.

If we look at the spl most of the managers have not spent a lot of money, if you call 8/ 9 million a lot of money for a top football club of that country. Celtic running with the last managers players and a couple bought and loans.
There is no big money bought players in the spl, 4.5 mill again if you want to call that big money.

The players in the spl are all professional and playing since a young age no matter what the team, so for me it's down to the management, training, tactics on the day.

now if there is investment then obviously a better player will be bought and improve a said team.

Celtic don't need to concern themselves on what's happening elsewhere as we have everything in place to not only to compete in the spl and win it, but to compete in the CL/ EL stage.

The whole Gerrard thing has panic written all over it. Doomed to failure. They may though reach their goal of finishing in the top 4. But, I think we need to ignore what's happening in the cesspit across the city and concentrate on us. Let's get Edouarde signed permanently and add a few real quality players.

Agreed Johnnymac, he should have been given a 1 years rolling contract as he is high risk due to the fact he is untested. However, I'm not complaining, it is just an extra nail in the coffin.

Reporter says sorry about that and moves on to the next one who says Gerrard put Scott Brown on his arse. Reporter says sorry again and it cuts to the studio.
