Take it I wasn't allowed to provide a link to another site showing the new away kit Ed(s). How do you just upload a picture like 007 does or is it Eds only?

{Ed007's Note - I didn't get any post mate, it might have been binned by the spam filter if the https// part was included. In future to be safe just begin the link with the www part of the address or use a URL shortener.

I love it JB. Was sceptical of the home kit at first but looks better on the players. Think this away kit will be better on too. Would like a yellow third kit or perhaps purple would be good. When's the training/leisure stuff out mate do you know? Lookin forward to some smart retro style trackie tops. Had a pair of green NB sneaks in a box since the deal announcement waiting for the Tic gear coming out.

{Ed007's Note - It's not official but it seems to be the 'favourite' to be it, JB will know better than me though.}

Does anybody know if we'll be bringing out a 3rd kit as well then? Home and away quite similar, two belter though!

I've not seen any designs yet,all I know so far is that the away top is green but that site got it right with the home one so i'm guessing that this is right also.The trackies & training wear are due for release in July after the Nike contract runs out.There should be a 3rd kit also but as of now I don't have any idea of style or colour,when I know I will post.

Are you doing your Meg Ryan impression Ed?

{Ed007's Note - It was 2 thumbs up on my tablet.}

06 May 2015 01:14:14
I seem to remember some folk posting, when the Celtic N B link was first mooted that New Balance had shite designs . The Celtic tops look good to my amateur eye.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Anything had to be better than Nike for me, Christine, I always thought the quality was very poor and felt like cheap tat. The carling one during Nakas time was like a rag imo.The only real piece of kit I've really liked and bought straight away (Thanks to our good friend Jungle Bhoy) was the 125th Anniversary tracksuit top with the tricolour collar etc. And there was grey training tracky top tyep thing when Strachan was manager I thought that was well smart. I've picked and chosen what strip tops to buy, I bought the odd few I'd wear and my wife or mam buy me them all anyway to put by.}

Aye Edwina , as usual you are spot on . When I am in need of fashion advice I can always ask you.😉😍😍

{Ed007's Note - (rofl) that must have been auto-correct that done that but perhaps it knows something we don't..... Oh and if in doubt always go with Stone Island.}

Congratulations to The five and a half Celtic players who were chosen by their peers for the Spl team of the year . To be chosen by your fellow players is certainly as good as it can get . The half was Armstrong half D U and half Celtic .

At the same time in the Championship not one of the multi thousand £'s a week players from Sevco was chosen . Is this the first time a player from the Govan club hasn't been selected. Maybe they haven't made as many new friends this season as they thought they would .

Your lack of braincells is amazing. Does the boogey man where a rangers top in your house? Why would a rangers player be selected we have been mince. Why do we need to make friends lol?our mate lawells on the sfa board

05 May 2015 16:22:49
Ceexxx I am surprised that you don't know your short history . 3 years and you still can't remember it all. After the Scottish Football authorities bent and broke every rule in the book to get Sevco into the Spl and subsequently every other league until they were finally pushed into the bottom league illegally , Sevco spokesmen said they would play in the bottom league , enjoy the journey and make new friends .
Your mate with one of the first EBT's is running the bloody thing Campbell Ogilivie .

Of course we know of your bad memory , but been mince never stopped the previous team that played out of Ibrox from having players honoured .
I doubt that those who followed Rangers who cheated the people of the UK out of tens of millions would be demonstrating any brain cells whilst supporting this current tribute act which seems to not understand the word integrity .

Gordon Parks (a former footballer who won sweet FA apparently) on Celtic's title win:

"The title race was a formality from the first minute of the campaign and in truth it's been an uninspiring story throughout.

Aberdeen's mock challenge was never a genuine threat and Celtic should be winning the title by a double-figure margin. Job done but instantly forgettable. "

Can a former player, who didn't achieve anything, or even a so called journalist, despite wherever their allegiances obviously lie, not even muster a single pat on the back for the games National Champions? On those comments alone this 'journalist' would be booted by a proper newspaper.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 May 2015 19:36:54
These are the same journalists who were telling us at the start of the season, that the Championship was the league to watch, as all the big clubs were in it. They told us that the premier league would be a walkover while the championship would be close, and would go down to the wire.
Apart from being biased, they are not very good at their job.

04 May 2015 19:43:08
Gordon who?

Agree0 Disagree0

04 May 2015 19:57:04
Wing Nut indeed. And you're right gerry. I don't normally get as animated as others when it comes journalists opinions. But when you are asked to write two paragraphs explaining your thoughts on a side winning the league championship and you come out with that it just shows the guy up to absolutely reekk of bitterness. It's actually funny. What's he saying about the leagues as a whole then? That the past 9 months have been pointless for everybody? I bet if a certain team manages to finish second (after play offs) in the second tier it isn't quite as "instantly forgettable". No doubt they'll be giving themselves some sort of star. And this muppet will be frantically playing his pink flute at the front of the marching band.

One of his colleagues couldn't find a place for Virgil in his team of the year,he opted for fojut who in games against celtic shipped 20 goals.He also found room for 4 aberdeen players,who couldn't beat celtic in games this season,I'm surprised they never gave Ally manager of the year.killy.

05 May 2015 16:31:07
The great thing about this season's title , plus the three that Lennon won was that all four were won with no financial impropriety by any team in the league . It is frightening to think there are people posting on here who weren't even born , when there was no financial impropriety by any member team . It seem that some people like to harp back to the "good". Old days when we had regular competition from a club who spent freely what it had and what it didn't have in order to equal or try to beat us .

Happy birthday old fella:

What was your fist Celtic match you saw/remember?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I've got programmes and vague memories from games earlier than I can remember going to games but the first match I can remember was around the end of season 1980/81 and we beat St Mirren by 6 or 7. I remember it because George McCluskey came and took me in to meet Charlie Nicholas for the first time after the match and I got some pictures with him and guys like Frank McGarvey (who had scored a hat-trick), TB and Roy Aitken.}

Was reading somewhere that Alex Pearce from Reading will be a free agent in the summer not 100% sure but after watching him against Arsenal in the FA cup would surely be worth a punt? Obita and Hector at the back for Reading, would look like decent buys as well IMO

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Would be happy enough to have him as a squad player for cover domestically. Just think we need to sign players to get straight into and improving the first XI. Then players drop from the first team into the squad. that's the best way of improving the squad. Granted we may need 2 maybe 3 CBs.
