Afternoon all,
Last night with the Thai tims at parkhead was brilliant, dislocated my ankle at work on Wednesday but was determined to go see them and am so glad I did they were brilliant.
Anyway on to my question, having a discussion with regards to the new Celtic and rangers home kit, both are replicas of there history strips, Celtic being of our 125 year anniversary and rangers of what happened in barcalona. Now I asked my rangers fan friend y there strip had no stars and his reply was because its the same strip that they wore in barcalona but y do we still have our star when we are releasing the same strip we wore years ago.
Point am asking do u think they knew about newco/liquidation and that's y they can no longer put there stars on.

Could main creditors of the unwashed take out a high court injunction to stop Miller asset stripping what should be legally theirs?

i'm not a finance expert , i'm not a lawyer but i do have common sense . think about it this way. if rangers and mr. miller escape via the incubator route , that would be hmrc and all other creditors saying it's ok to walk away from all your debts because if they do get away with it there would be nothing to stop man, u walking away from £700m or arsenal or celtic , any club that wanted to could because there would be no point in anyone contesting it ,the club would win . have you been mis-sold ppi , how often do you hear that, that started because one person took the banks to court and won ! and because of that one case the banks have had to pay out around 22 billion and rising and not one of those cases has to go to court , the banks pay out because they know they can't win. it would be exactly the same if rangers walk away from this scot free . so i'm still with 007 on this , i don't think they will be granted a cva and their celebrations are a bit premature . i think the term used for this is a CLASS ACTION one wins everybody wins . i'm prepared to be shot down in flames if i'm wrong .. bb

You are indeed right, there is a long, long, way to go here.
There are so many parties involved that have an active interest - Whyte, HMRC, Ticketus, SPL, SFA and potentially UEFA. You could even argue that the Blue Knights have an interest.
It's very likely that the administrators and Miller will receive legal challenges from many or all of these parties.
This will result in Miller withdrawing his bid as it will be incapable of being delivered.

just had a great idea! I have always fancied a Ferrari,thanks to Mr Miller i now think i can have one.I am gonna transfer the house to my wife,buy a nice second hand ferrari(70k?), then transfer everything of any value from my current business to "jhedi Newco" Leaving "old jhedi" to work through the debt i leave using a CVA.My employees will be offered new jobs and i will have the cash from "old jhedi" to run the Newco till a credit facility can be attained.All seems to good to be true eh?.............green jhedi

If its true what it says in the papers that rangers will avoid any sanctions in the spl next season and start debt free then scottish football is finished no fair minded person would want to contribute any money to such corrupt governing bodies neil doncaster as good as told them last week that this was the way to go as for the sfa what panel would vote the original sanctions through after the threats of last week also if the sfa give in to this they are leaving themselves open to mob rule

Just having a look around there and noticed that in all of the top divisions in Europe after Wayne Rooney, Gary hooper is the highest scoring Englishman in the top divisions, 6 goals in front of grant holt. Can't see why the lad isn't given a chance even in a friendly? Especially since non of the other top English strikers are finding the net due to injury/ bad form etc. Anyone else think he should be given a chance?

Is it possible for the main creditors (ie HMRC) to apply for a high court injunction to prevent Miller from what amounts to asset stripping what should legally be there for partly repayment of debts. Also, if the administrator is an agent for the courts, could he become accountable for allowing this to happen?

There seems to be a common thread thats started in the media since Bill Miller got preferred status to buy Rangers.
Not surprisingly Hateley has already tried to make the comparison amongst others - especially on the 'other' site.
Yes folks, in the typical, lazy scottish media style - they are already bracketing Bill Miller alongside the legendary Fergus McCann. For no other reason than they both come from the same CONTINENT (not country) CONTINENT ie North America! (Fergus was from Canada lads! not the USA!).
'We need some straight talking, to tell it like it is - like all they Americans do! Someone who'll take no crap - like Fergus did for Celtic!'.................
They are all ignoring the glaring obvious. Celtics potential to grow was almost limitless in 1994. £6m ovedraft to the Bank and still run by 2 families like your local bowling club. Fergus turned us into a corporate powerhouse in comparison - and got his money back plus profit - £45m in total I'm sure. He always said why he was here. To save Celtic and make a profit (and getting rid of Jim Farry from the SFA was a wee bonus!)
Some clarity is needed I think. Rangers are LOSING £1m PER MONTH regardless of whether Miller wiped the whole debt out tomorrow. No liquidation, Newco or whatever means serious downsizing for them. Miller even says they 'will have to live within their means'.
No Euro football for 3 years with his incubator plan as each transfer of newco staus means a new league application. No monies from the SPL. Points deductions. No signings for 12 months then youth players - while our team matures and marches on. We will hopefully be picking up Champs League revenue and selling the odd player like the McGeady deal. Rangers will struggle for the top 6.
Rangers fans, surely you must see that liquidation is your ONLY real option to bounce back if possible?
