Was only listening on the radio, and it said that Forsters mistake cost a goal, but no one mentioning on here, is all about Julien, . Isn't it about time Gordon was restored to the no.1 position, as he is the best goalie we have.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

04 Mar 2020 23:12:13
Your having a laugh eh? Gordon the best goalie we have?
Go and have a word with yourself. That's the kind of comment the Rangers would come up with.

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 23:12:31
That is the most ludicrous thing I have read.
The next thing you will be saying is to sent Brown out on loan and build a team around Kouassi and Bayo. Oh wait.

Agree3 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 23:14:57
Gordon made mistakes nearly every game he played for us. Forster is the best keeper we have.

aindoh,
if you've not attended a game in the flesh or sadly been subjected to Sky's coverage. Surely you can't be serious 🦁.

Craig Gordkn is a fantastic goalie. But Big Fraz has saved more penalties this season or sorry IN one week than Gordon done in 5 years. But in all fairness happy with both as they are legends Just prefer FF, HH.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 05:36:07
You for real? Big forster has been brilliant since he came back.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 06:54:49
My opinion (for what it's worth)
I had hopes for Bain (and still do but i think he now has to look elsewhere and re-kickstart his career).

Gordon is one of the best instinctive/ reactive keepers I have seen but goalkeeping is more than just saving shots. When it comes to all-round goalkeeping, he fails. Stands waiting on opposition players taking a shot and does not command and control the box. Too many basic mistakes His distribution is also poor.

Forster is not perfect but he controls the box, makes a lot of good instinctive saves and has good distribution. He has saved us a lot more times than he has failed us.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 08:25:54
It's got to the point I don't even take him on now steph. It's quite clear he just says these things to get a reaction.

Away to bed πŸ˜‚ He was bumped and it was a foul throw too to boot.

aindoh, are you showing your true colours? πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ quite a few of your posts come across as 🎣 anyway tough game a point gained 1 more game down and the sevvies still think slippy is the saviour? Been a great day πŸ˜‚πŸ€πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†.

I don't think we played that badly tonight, I felt we moved the ball as well as we could against a very well organised and stubborn team. 2 individual errors from Forster and Jullian hurt us, need to get a grip on that. Excellent point in the end. Eddy came to the fore yet again.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

04 Mar 2020 23:57:48
Agree Aarbee - I enjoyed the match and thought we throw everything at them to get the equaliser. Some good football played. Some people expect to win every game and have no competition.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 00:19:49
Jullien struggles against any physical forward. Needs to man up at times. Edouard was superb again though.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2020 08:28:01
I don't think eddy had a particularly good game. IMO he played in wee flashes. But he done what real good players do. Make those flashes count.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 22:09:27
Don't know if it's a 'mindset' thing about the pitch/ venue or their players up their game another 30%, but we really struggled yet again - even with an early goal.
Saw a lot of slow passing side to side, as they defended deep and in numbers and even when we got through the old missed chances were back again to make things worse.
That's the second time in a week we have lost soft goals and our central defenders seem to be taking it in turn to have an off-day?
Meanwhile Big Eddy is having a lean time right now with no breaks and it's no coincidence that Griff's absence may be a factor? Why did NL not bring LG on sooner - Only he knows, but it seems unnecessary.
I wanted to see more running at them and cut backs from those wide areas, as I mentioned in the live chat and luckily we did just that in the end. We were always told if you can't play through them, then go around them - just like The Lions did to the best defense ever!
Not a great performance or result but it turned out to be not bad.
Slippy may have never won a league, but he seems to have lost a whole dressing room?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

05 Mar 2020 08:33:02
According to NL we were brilliant. Someone from the backroom staff must have spiked his drink. Dozens of crosses that where woeful.2 points dropped her we still go further ahead. It sure is a funny old game. πŸ€.

Tough tough watch that honestly! Frightening looking at big jullien playing tonite by the way! The fear in his eyes every time the ball came near him was worrying. we made this Lyndon dykes guy who I’ve heard all week about look like Christiano Ronaldo! Lump the baw up the pitch and long throws and we were all over the place! Postive note we ran to the very last minute and never gave up! Hope to f**k we don’t need to go to Livingston for a 3rd time after the split! Watchn lennon interview while a type here and he said we were outstanding! I must have been watchn a different game!

Bitton impressive again as was Frimpong when he came on. Ajer was solid enough too but Jullien seems to be in fear of that Dykes he was that bad he made Ambrose look like Maldini tonight.

Ditto. not a fan of Julien.
Saying it once again.

Frimping could not cross the road he has one job get under the ball he crosses for under 5 feet players. Julien absolute joke. Thanks to rogic great goal Eduard amazing great subs by Lennon.
Julien cost us the game. Christie chasing leafs.
Sneaky draw will do us tho. We where off a little tonight in defence but settle for draw.

We were rubbish, simple as. Got let off as they got beat at grey skull. But if we keep playing rubbish like that we are going to stumble over the line, what's happened to the football of a few weeks ago?

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 21:55:34
Andy you defended bolingoli earlier this season when i said the same thing about his crossing. I agree frimpongs crosses were poor but why critise him and defend bolingoli.

I just think boli has a little more to offer and cuts in more I found bolies crossing ok.
My you no more than me boli has not had a look in wonder what's going on. Forrest was magic that was the break he needed and he looked gd on the left.
Think lent needs to get ajer and Julien together and have a word. Something not right there.

I see that none of the January signings are in the squad and only the loan signings start the match from the players brought in over the last two seasons. The exception being the scottich singing Taylor
I have said before that youth players and those from the scottish leagues do not get a fair shout.
I believe that there is quality to be found from both these areas O'connel, Welsh, Church, O'Dea Robertson, Mcinroy, Dembele and Oko Flex need encouragement yes they may not be ready to start but having them on the bench and giving them game time would allow an accurate assessment of their abilites.
Also looking at the leagues Hickey{ replacement for Brown} Mckenna LCB
Turnbull and Shankland and why not make an offer to Ryan Fraser a free in the summer would he not make more sense than Elyonoussi.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

04 Mar 2020 19:28:28
I think hope its just a precaution get the league won first then bring all of above in to give them a taste of what has to come.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 19:37:50
You could also look at Hendry, Morgan and Allen, who were seen as good Scottish talent - but failed to make the grade.
There's no doubt we have a pretty poor recruitment record, considering the players that have been brought in over the last 4 years; although we have tried to offload and loan out surplus in the last two 'windows' to trim the squad and balance the books.
However, the January window looks to have raised more questions than answers with both players yet to make the breakthrough.
Forster, Elyounnoussi, Taylor and Jullien have made a better impact, in varying degrees, but Baur is not fancied and it's maybe fair to say he'll be back at his parent club in the summer.
The Turnbull deal should be revived in the summer, but we really need to address the all-to-familiar need for a centre half and two full backs; as Bolingoli and El Hamed haven't worked out as hoped and Frimpong is much more of an attacking option.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Mar 2020 20:31:08
No one thought Hendry Allen or Morgan were exceptional talent.

My problem is the Development Squad and who is in it putting genuine pressure on the first team. Answer, no-one. There are genuinely development prospects such as Stephen Welsh, Kerr McInroy, Scott Robertson, Barry Coffey and Karamoko but not one of them is pressurising anyone in the first team. Celtic with the budget and resources should be miles ahead with the Development Squad but aren't. I go and see them now and again and there's been no-one who stands out.

So wonder kid Billy Gilmour left Sevco as he didn't feel up to playing against Scott Brown as "he is by far the best midfielder in Scotland". I thought they said it was for financial reasons but here you have it from the horses mouth. Delicious.

There was consternation and anger among Scottish referees yesterday when both the SFA and SPFL banned handshakes at football grounds, Scottish referee spokesperson Mason Mason said "how are our members going to identify like minded players and managers on the pitch without our ability to shake their hands".
