Transfrmkt suggests contracts are up in next 6months. Ones 23 and the other 21. Not exactly youths and always seemed an odd acquisition really.

Was wondering as well maybe ed007 can keep us right are they even on the Celtic books. What's going so far.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Yeah they're still on Celtic's books but they can't get a work permit.}

Trump too busy preening himself for the November elections to sign on the dotted line?

I have just looked at a piece on line from the Glasgow evening times David Marshall OMG not one piece of impartiality there I wonder if he was wearing a Servo top when he wrote that.

I read about 2 lines of it and it reeked of bitterness then I never bothered reading anymore.

Just having a quiet moment thinking 🤪. For the televised closed door games, how difficult would it be to use CGI to try and generate some sort of atmosphere. Would it be feasible or even cost effective? Also could something similar be done in stadia to help players with atmosphere.
Watched a few of the german games and it just felt a bit flat and I got easily distracted by belly button fluff 😳
With the money involved in football these days, it may not be such an off the wall idea.

Apparently the german football was streamed in America where certain games had crowd noise added to the stream 🙈 general feedback was it made it worse . Also read they were looking at using fifa crowd noises as well to try and generate atmosphere. The stats for the home teams in Germany with no crowds are really surprising. Could a massive disadvantage to teams like ourselves who are used to large crowds backing us .

Got a feeling in my water bhoys a signing is imminent.
How do I know this?
Well there is silence on all fronts about signings and we all know celtic just get it done without anyone knowing so must be something in the air esp with 7 out the door.
Don't even know if window is open yet lol.

{Ed007's Note - The window opens in Scotland on the 9th of June (Tuesday).}

When was the last time we signed a player and it was a surprise?

Elyounoussi. There was absolutely nothing by way of media speculation until minutes before he was unveiled.

Can someone explain how watching the games on tv will work? Do you need a season ticket or will it be on sky? Im assuming it won't be as easy as bt sports german coverage.

Steve
I think season ticket holders will need to subscribe to Celtic TV.
It will be free through their season ticket. A code will then be released to allow the home games to be viewed in your home.
We will find out for sure soon enough.

If you don't have a season ticket, how much do you think the charge will be to be able to watch the games.

Hopefully Celtic TV might be a lot more reliable on IPTV next season now.

It seems the SPFL are pushing the clubs towards reconstruction. They want the clubs to vote in favour of a 14 team Premiership.
The deal would last for a period of 5 years.
The advantages would include not having to potentially travel to the same ground for a 3rd time in one season. The disadvantages for me would be voting to allow ICT into the league.

So I pay 600 bucks for my season ticket and I am supposed to think this is a good deal. when I am sitting in my own living room and can get most games on iptv or hesgoal and what if there's more than one st holder in the house watching the same telly. we need some clarification from pedro.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - There hasn't been a Celtic home game on IPTV or hesgoal for months, CelticTV uses software that makes it impossible - so far - for streaming sites to use their streams.}

04 Jun 2020 09:57:13
We are going to be roughly £30 a game to watch in the house. Not great but we are over a barrel, if we don’t pay the club needs to sell and may struggle. A see Real Madrid are using there training ground now for the remaining games could we do the same and save money on stadium?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - That would probably just lead to moaning about the quality of the broadcast with less cameras etc being able to be used.}

04 Jun 2020 11:16:30
Ed as you know I got IPTV too, I have not missed a game.
Granted you get the odd niggle but I have seen every game last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I stand corrected mate, I was only going with what was being said on the live chat.}

04 Jun 2020 11:00:13
True enough mate. Going to be weird no matter what happens.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You can't please everybody as there's so many people you will never please .}

No probs ed.

My iptv was fine before it stopped also . Was still getting live 3pm home games . As for the virtual pass? Celtic tv is woeful in coverage, Gerry McCulloch and Simon Donnelly would bore you to tears . And that lassie just doesn't look comfortable on tv lol . Seeing it us with skys blessing? Think they might provide a more professional coverage? What about small clubs without their own tv stations? Seen a stream last season from hearts and missed most of the game due to the camera being blocked by the new stand lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Jun 2020 11:55:41
A seen most games ed hesgoal ki d if shutdown . but the question of 2 st holders in the same house needs clarified.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - What is the question? I don't see what difference it makes how many ST holders are in a house, I assume they'll all get a code.}

04 Jun 2020 12:44:45
Ed think mally is questioning, why pay for 2 season tickets in 1 household when 1 will get you the code .

The other side of that debate is if u give up 1 of the season tickets to save money? When fans are allowed back in, you can't then decide you want that other ticket back .

However anyone keeping or buying a season ticket still might not get to a game due to social distancing?

Anyone paying for a season ticket now is doing so to ensure their seat and for the love of the club . Personally the streaming / virtual ticket is only a bonus for people who don't have iptv.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Well if you don't want to pay for 2 tickets don't do it, there's plenty of people who will snap it up. Everybody knew - or they should have - that they wouldn't be able to attend games for the foreseeable future so why fork out for season tickets when you don't know when you'll see a game in person then moan when the clubs, the SPFL and the TV folk come up with a way for you to at least see the game?}

04 Jun 2020 13:13:10
As I said ed . People purchasing did so knowing that there was a possibility of not attending out of commitment/ love of the club .

I feel the virtual ticket seems to have people thinking it is a cheap alternative not a bonus for ticket holders to at least watch home games until fans are allowed back .

Even people who purchase 2 or more in the same household next to each other will not all be guaranteed to attend together once limited numbers are allowed back to start with .

That's the next dilemma the clubs will face . How and which season ticket holders can attend and which paying customers can't . There is no way, as you said in another post, can every one be pleased . Am glad I'm not charged with making these decisions.

Can’t see the issue tbh bhoys it’s the best we could ask for. The club doesn’t know when we will get back in but your seat is secure when we do. I’ve heard that they will give a %refund for games missed when we get back in not sure if true.
