Don't know about anyone else but I'm missing the football already and seem to have withdrawal symptoms!

I think its just been one of those really memorable seasons, 125 years of unbroken history.

Who would have thought when Sean Fallon (God rest his soul) unfurled the league flag and we kicked off against a well organised Aberdeen, a match won 1-0 thanks to Kris Commons and a Jamie Langfield clanger, we would have gone onto the group stages of the Champions League and the last 16.

I know our league form was inconsistent but looking back over the season, the Champions League run just overshadows everything. The night after Celtic's 125th birthday and we beat Barcelona was honestly magical.

The season also finished on a high with Celtic showing just why they are the Champions of Scotland.

The draw for the CL qualifier is on June 24th and Celtic are seeded. Can't wait for July now and it all starts again.

A wee bonus for me next season, Ally bring your people on! Hope we draw Rangers in the League & Scottish Cup, would love to show them just how far ahead Celtic are and what liquidation really means in football terms, you just can't compete with the best ~ Mrs E

If the new SPFL is voted in by 22 out of 29 clubs in the SFL, the new rules state TRIALISTS cannot start in league and cup official competitive games. Poor Sevvies cheating getting sorted out up front.
SFA won't be happy they approved the Sevvies cheating, against their own SFA signing ban.

looking at the latest update of the bdo investigating in liquidation of rfc it appears that they are becoming frustrated at the amount of obstructions they are coming up against in this process.

It is stated that delays in requested paperwork to be provided is being held up until the final date for it to be provided also paperwork that is missing and unable to be located along with many dead ends there is a real chance that the time spent in attempting to get to the bottom of this becoming less cost effective as nobody can determine who owns the assets

I see some of you on here getting a bit agitated about the thought of Jonny Russell signing for Derby.

Listen lads, if Celtic were after him Celtic would have signed him. The papers reported Celtic asked to be kept informed about his availablity, Celtic didn't say that though. Probably nonsense.

Lennon is desperate to keep Hooper, maybe he thinks there's chance. Were definitely after Amido Balde, the big striker we desperately need. So with Stokes, Watt, Samaras, Amido Balde and Hooper (with a bit of luck) then were does Jonny Russell fit into his plans? I hope by not going for Russell it means he plans to give more game time to Tony Watt at centre forward.

It will all come together, I have on doubts

Cannot believe all you guys are falling for the same old, same old from Lawwell & co about new signings, last year your board made same "promises" who did you get? One free and 2 loan signings.
Compare this to across the city where Ally has already signed 5 top classs players. The Honduran has a better pedigree than your Izziguirre and I heard that Lennon wanted Daly and clarke but they chose Rangers.
Nobody wants to come to Celtic and start their season in July when all other big clubs are still on holiday. Yet despite being in 2nd division players are falling over themselves to sign for Rangers.
Our reputation precedes us and we are known world wide with a bigger fan base than Celtic.
As Ally said in his final press conference We ARE the people and always will be. wee Bud of Clarkston

Morning Bhoys!

What is everyones view on Lyle Taylor from Falkirk? I kept an eye on him last season. Big strong tall lad, just what Lenny is after and good in the air. Seemed to score for fun in the first divison. I reckon he could be a good punt if Hoops leaves us.

If anybody wants to see a football club running around with 140 years of unbroken history, look south. No not there! Further south! I said UNBROKEN!

Congrats to my mighty Bombers, The Essendon Football Club on 140 years of highs and lows. To be celebrated on Friday night against a great foe in Carlton. I'll be there with my family, it'll be my youngest one's first game. 80,000 at the MCG.

C'arn the Dons!

TV reporting Airdrie Utd have been given permission to start calling themselves Airdrieonians from next season. The original Airdrieonians were liquidated and died. The present Airdrie Utd were formed out of the old dead Clydebank club and were allowed to use Clydebank's membership. They don't have any link whatsoever to the original Airdrieonians that were liquidated. And have zero claim of course on history or honours which would be ridiculous.
