How do you like my team of injured or suspended players.

Ralston Benkovic Ajer Tierney

Ntcham Kouassi

Forrest Rogic Arzani

Edouard

Subs: Griffiths, Boyata, Lustig

Maybe after Wednesday's game we will have a keeper and our full allocation of subs for the injured XI.

It's the worst I can remember for injuries at Celtic and it's amazing we still have the talent to field a decent team despite that list; although we still have one or two that still couldn't get a game lol.

Guys good news.
If as they say all decisions "even themselves up over a season" then Celtic are due 30 FEKIN PENALTIES in next 14 games lol.

They're talking about it on SLY and it's just one big joke to them.
The silence from Celtic is deafening and I'm beginning to wonder if the SFA have some discriminating 'negatives' in their vault?

This season alone we have had players kicked, stamped-on, molested, injured as a result of violent play, the hand-picked Sevconian officials, and of course the lying 'Cheatin-Beaton' affair. What will it take for Celtic to raise the roof and go to town on this shower of scoundrels (to put it politely).

Celtic won't come out with a statement claiming there is a conspiracy!

There's no conspiracy Malky. Every one of these examples is on film.

In all honesty we cannot blame the referees . It's not their fault that the only referees that are selected for games involving Celtic or Rangers are die in the woods Rangers fans . I know if I was refereeing a Celtic game, I couldn't help it, I would be biased towards Celtic, alas there is no chance I will ever referee a Celtic game and it appears there is almost no chance any other Celtic fan will get the opportunity either. The only thing SFA Referees department has got right is their ability to vet all aspiring referees and only promote to Grade 1 and thus allowed to officiate at Celtic or Rangers2012 games Rangers fans . They were in such a hurry to get another die- hard Rangers fans involved they fast tracked Andrew 4 penalty Sevco Dallas to grade 1 status.

With all the injuries and Ajers suspension, my team for Wednesday would be:

Bain
Toljan
Boyata (if fit) / Biton
Jozo
Izzy

Brown
McGregor

Burke
Christie (if fit) / Johnstone
Sinclair

Weah

It would be good to see big Bayo make the bench and get on for his debut.

If boyatas fit he'll play.

I think Weah is a brilliant young striker, but I would be reluctant to start him again for a while yet . He would do more in the last 30-35 mins than most would do in the whole game . I just think at the moment he will provide something different as a sub and isn't likely to be marked ( physically ) as closely as if he started .
He lifts the whole team when he comes on as a sub .

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 23:07:34
I agree OMC, think Weah is great but just don't think he is ready to lead from the start. No other reason but my gut feeling. Certain games will suit his style of play. However coming from the bench with his pace makes him a nightmare in the latter stages for defenders.

Have to hold my hands up I was quite cynical and critical of the signings we made well I got it well and truly wrong. we will got the remaining season unbeaten and lift the Holy Grail Treble Treble the bhoys that have came are quality head and shoulders above anyone else that was brought in by other clubs in our league
Well done Celtic 🍀.

Weah is something else, I think they have given the club a shot in the arm and will have an impact.
I was the same I didn't like the idea of it, but I'm changing my mind. We have a good squad and if you can get real quality on loan to give it that bit extra then fair enough. Also thank goodness we got them in with the insane injury list at the moment.
I really hope we can get weah for another season.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 19:57:54
Fair play to you Davie, it takes a man to admit he’s wrong. I think we’ve had a really good window and whilst unbeaten is a tall order, it might be possible.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 22:22:27
We have taken on loan the right people. , players we wouldn't be able to buy and players who probably are delighted to play for us from 6 mths to 18 mths . If we do a good job with the like of Weah we will be given the responsibility of developing other rare talent . We have to give loanees plenty of game time without over playing them and trampling them into the ground.

04 Feb 2019 12:37:39
That was an absolutely excellent finish from James Forrest he's scored some big goals for us but sometimes I don't think he gets the credit he deserves from supporters. It's like Lustig seems to be fair game at present for abuse which goes beyond legitimate criticism. The second goal was a thing of beauty as well and Dafoe would have needed a taxi to keep up with play and cover that amount of grass. Brown was excellent and I'm very much looking forward to his payback time in due course when we welcome the Govan hoardes to Celtic Park.

See Steve Clarke has said his piece on the refereeing decisions over the weekend highlighting the 4 wrong penalty decisions and 1 right. Mentioned when Jones got a 2 game ban for diving and he looks forward to hearing what happens this week regarding Defoe. Everyone knows he should be banned for 2 games but what's the odds that he'll get away with it because he plays for Sevco!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

04 Feb 2019 12:29:32
He'll be banned for that, it was a blatant dive.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 12:44:06
He should be banned for diving and getting the penalty as that's the rules but like you I won't hold my breath that the corrupt SFA will uphold the rules if it is detrimental to their favourite team.

04 Feb 2019 13:12:17
What about Candyass’s dive into the box for last pen, He should also get 2 game ban for that?

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 14:56:30
I just see that Ryan. He throws himself into the box. The more you see the 3 that Dallas gave he should be binned but no doubt that performance will have his dad's lodge delighted.

@Pud, He won't have to wear the goat costume this week.

Hah he’ll get a certificate or another star on his horrible shirt for that dive Ryan.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 20:01:41
I don’t think Defoe dived, I think he stumbled because he expected the contact. Candyass is a proper dive though and although he was fouled he might well get a ban.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 22:30:04
Anyone who thinks Defoe will be banned because he hit the ground because he hoped the defenders foot might touch him, has a very bad memory .
Collum red carded a Rangers player3 months ago and hasn't been allowed near Rangers2012 since . Banned by the club.

More likely that Clarke will get a ban for highlighting the refs inefficiencies.

04 Feb 2019 11:36:00
Well that's me expecting a lengthy ban from driving. Literally picked my new focus rs up from dealership and honestly 10min later got clocked at 141 mph. I'm guilty fully accept charge. if only our referees were as honest as our traffic police.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

04 Feb 2019 13:34:52
You deserve it for going that speed.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 13:41:38
Like Defoe you accept it happened in a flash, you didn’t mean for it to escalate, it was police fault for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, just the same as the St Mirren defender should not have been inside the box. philtim88 you will be okay because you admitted your guilt and didn’t claim for it to happen. For that you will escape a ban just like Defoe.
Your lucky it happened in Scotland, anywhere else they would lock you up and throw away the key.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 14:14:11
Jeezo Phil, your lucky it's just a fine n a ban you'll get, it could easily have ended worse. Thank your lucky stars u never killed someone.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 20:03:56
Phil if you’re seriously saying you were doing 141mph, you should get locked up. If you continue doing that you’ll end up killing someone.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Feb 2019 22:32:17
I think Phil made an honest mistake it was 41 mile an hour in a 30 mile zone.

Our second goal was top drawer counter attacking football.

Loved the speed at which McGregor, Sinclair and Weah broke up the park. McGregor's ball control and precision pass were exquisite. Sinclair's clever run opened up the space for Weah as he took the defenders with him. The timing of Weah's run and composure to finish were superb.

Cal-Mac is really coming into form. He usually has a great second half of the season and on his day we have some player.
Sinclair has also got a 'second-wind' recently and it's fantastic to have so many attacking options and great footballers at the club.

04 Feb 2019 12:16:02
When I heard we was after Weah these are the kind of goals I'd imagined we would be scoring. Our attack is ridiculously strong now no matter what front 4 we put out there's so many different options.
