I haven't got a clue who will win on sunday, as it's usually who is up for it the most on the day that wins. I hope our two centre halfs are fit, and i am going to put a couple of bob on joe ledley to score as i think he is playing well and is due a goal. Anyways here's hoping for a good game, and a winner on sunday, because the fans are skint, and to meet each other seven times is a joke.

The sad thing is paddybhoy, that whoever wins on sunday should go on to win the cup, but will make more money from Sundays game than winning the final. Old Firm fans have been fleeced like this for years. Look at the ticket prices and attendances for the league cup semis, then with an Old Firm final the usual price hike and clamour for tickets. Financially the Scottish cup loses alot of its appeal no matter who wins on Sunday, without the chance of an Old Firm final it becomes tedious and probably the next best thing sponsors want is a "Family Final", two smaller teams in the final, that brings whole towns together Motherwell v Kilmarnock for example. Scottish football needs a shake up badly, teams play each other so often it's became stale. £38-45 for a ticket is ridiculous for the quality of the product. And the clubs just feed off (myself included) our blind faith. Sunday will cost me over £200 all in for me and my 2 nephews, would I spend that to watch Celtic v Hearts/ Hibs etc, NO, not even for a final.

Anyone else noticed the level of conversation/ banter has risen since the the transfer window shut? I've even got Celtic and Rangers fans talking sense to each other lol (my CVs in the post Ed).

SickBhoy

P.S. Totally agree with you on Davie Weir, it's his love (shudder) of Rangers that's keeping him going, he must be completely knackered! ! {ed's note - I will look out for it!}

Cannot see us losing tomorrow but I hope Rankers have their best side out.- no excuses then . On another note I am not a big fan of Wilson - I think we could have done better but I suppose he is comitted to us. Lankybuoy

Your right SickBhoy, Celtic defo have the edge in midfield just now cause Davis not been firing at all this season and i been well impressed with Kayal, he looks a real find although Brown has still got a bit to prove in the bigger games. Dont think us losing McCulloch is a big blow cos imo he slows everything down n usually gets booked which means hes walking on eggshells plus hes trying to be to much like his pal Barry n just aint got it. Been impressed with Hooper n Stokes also but will he play them both? I fear for our defence if they do play cos Weir been treading water all season n Bougie been to inconsistent. Hopefully Jelavic is fit cos he could defo cause problems, looks a class act and backed up with everyones favourite person Diouf and Naismith it could be a good combination. Its gonna be tight but im goin for a 2-1 victory.

A well-loved pope passed away one day, and found himself standing outside the Pearly Gates. St. Peter embraced him, and granted him free access to all parts of Heaven.

'Is there anything your Holiness desires?' The saint asked.

'Well, yes actually. I've always wondered, are there any transcripts of actual conversations between prophets and the Father? I would like to have seen what they said.'

Saint Peter immediately ushered the Pope to the heavenly Pentium and explained how to retrieve ancient documents. St. Peter then left, but returned five minutes later when he heard the Pope screeching at the top of his voice. He went in to see what all the noise was about.

There he found the Pope pointing to the screen and screaming: There's an "R" in it! There's an "R" in it! It's. . . it's. . .it's celebrate! !'

I read this and a bit of tumbleweed rollled through my living room! Explanation anyone. . . . .anyone? {ed's note - celebrate/celibate mate.}

To Baz the Bear and Taxman, Yeah it's a tough call, Hoooper and Stokes are on fire just now, and the defence seems to have cut out the blunders from earlier in the season. Rangers have been struggling but have been grinding out results (apart from the Hearts game). I think like alot of Old Firm games it could be decided in midfield. Rangers will definetely miss McCulloch, and the way Kayal and Brown are playing I'm hoping our midfielders come out on top. Scott Brown is like a new player since he has been giving the freedom to play his natural game. I said all along he was wasted as a holding type midfielder. Rangers will be well up for this game looking for revenge and this could be their best chance of winning a trophy as obviously the league is ours LOL Let's just hope it's a good game and a good advert for the SPL which has took a bit of a battering on here over the last few days. Good to see Weiss coming out and saying that our league is under rated, he didn't need to do that as IMO he will go back down south in 3 months time. I'm going to watch Accies tomorrow afternoon, my mates wee boy is the Accies mascot, and then come Sunday, Let battle commence. Neck on the line time, 3-1 to The Hoops, I just think (hope) we will be too strong for them.

I have to say that Charlie Mulgrew has really impressed when he's been standing in a centre half. His reading of the game has been great and his distribution is excellent. Mark Wilson has also done well, as he did towards the end of last season.

Mulgrew could do well in this position alongside a no nonsense physical centre half who attacks the ball.

Is Lee McCulloch not banned from Sunday's game in any event due to the number of bookings he's received (or does this not count for Scottish Cup games)?

Fair play to you SickBhoy, i would defo rather be on here than listening to the Mrs too lol. Its also a fair point that if we lose the tax case then we are well n truly buggered because it will almost certainly lead to liquidation which means points reduction and possibly other sanctions but hopefully it won't come to that. Anyway, looking forward to Sunday, really can't call it at all. Yous are well on form n where struggling but then it was vice versa b4 the last game so who knows!

No worries Taxman, you didn't offend me FFS. It's just when you see Robbie Keane is signing for the 5000 time it kind of grates. And it gives the dark side more ammo to use. Roll on Sunday, if McCulloch doesn't play (Sky said he was doubtful) I think Rangers could struggle, he's the guy that keeps them ticking IMO.

SickBhoy

yes hopefully he will be out, though Kayal absolutely bossed him in the last old firm game and i reckon he will have the better of him going forward from now on. in my opinion Kayal and Izzy are the best players we have had since Henke left and the hopefully we can hold on to them for years to come.
if so the futures bright - the futures green and white!
