hey guys big follower of this site but i am relatively new at commenting, im a bit disapointed in celtic's lack of signings, firstly we have 2 very good strikers in hoops and stokes, samaras is a good ball player but not clinical enough so if either of those two get injured there is no cover, i love my team but they always dither when it comes to important signings, bring in this polish gk but not on trial..how many celtic trialists have ever made it?it isnt good enough and could cost us another title if were not careful, what do you think eds??

hi ed.i know its good to have a wee giggle at the other mob, but we have been doing that at the start of the season for the last 3 years.sometimes we can look at them to much and loose sight of our own problems.can someone explain to me how we have been left with the goalkeeping situation we have.thats poor mate.we have enough middle to front to win this title.major surgery was always going to be needed at the back.the fact is we have not got a lot of cash.like aiden mcgeady someone might have to be sold to add the quality we need.lets face it no one wants our deadwood and you cant blame them.AJ {Ed007's Note - I have said for months AJ that the GK position should have been top priority, and not another loan signing. We should have and hopefully will buy a GK that is going to be here for the long haul to allow the defence and him work together and build up a rapport. Personally I find it ridiculous that a club of CFCs size does not have a recognised No.1 GK. If Sandomierski is signed I would still like us to go for some one else (maybe even wait till Gordon is fit) with a bit more experience. Let's face it, CFC and Rangers GKs aren't under any great pressure in the majority of domestic matches, so the youngster (even Zaluska or Cervi, although I think Zalusakas confidence is still at rock bottom) could play until Gordon is available/fit. Some you agree with, some you don't, but we are all entitled to our own points of view. Ed019 is a genuinely nice lady apart (from her choice of football team). Although this is voluntary site we all have lives away from here and get on well with each other, so we will not be taking any sides in anything said against another editor. Tony {Ed007's Note - The term Man U is very offensive to Utd fans Tony (it refers to Munich). TBH some of the stuff people try to put on here is pathetic, there is no other word for it. The EPL sites have loads of regulars that are on winding each other up etc and more importantly debating their own team without being accused of being one of "them". They prefer people who have a "name" so that they can get to know each other and follow discussions, and because of this, if you don't agree with someone and explain why the other person will answer you knowing you are a fan, just with a different viewpoint or a rival fan and will come back with stats and a well put arguement. They respect people who use name more than an anonymous poster. LFC fans just go a bit crazy if you don't have a "name" as they see it as a bit of cowardice to put even a made up name to what you are saying. All the bigger EPL teams have a bunch of regular posters and it can be fun (have a look at the Utd banter site and see the difference).
I'l stay for more than 5 minutes if you can handle it Timalloy ;)

I am absolutely delighted at the job Alistair McCoist is doing at Rangers and I hope he remains at Ibrox for a long, long time.
As for us, I would feel very uncomfortable if we go into the 1st leg of our europa league play off qualifier(2 weeks today) with Lukasz in goal. Yes, he is a good goalie and an excellent back up, however he isn't reliable enough to be number 1 and I really hope Lenny learned his lesson from last season in that respect.
Grzegorz Sandomierski would be a great signing.

Afternoon Ed007 just in, hey tony yes both teams are seeded but some tough teams unseeded a lot of eastern european teams and turkish and german teams hope draw is kind to us both, want rangers in group stages with their small squad.
Looking at prize money in europa league, not as good as champions league but ok.
Both teams get £600,000 for this round plus their gate money and some tv money ( not sure yet how much)
If we get to group stages we get £1m plus £120,000 a win or £60,000 draw then we have 3 home gates and tv money again.
So that could give us both about £7m not great but acceptable, then obviously further we go the more money we get. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Hi Tim}

I watched the game and Rangers WERE the better team for around 75mins. With 10 men Rangers were still dominating midfield but when Bougherra went off it all changed. Ranger's heads went down and when Malmo scored the Rangers players adrenaline seemed to run out.
