Here I go, don't shoot, but is the real 'sexism' issue here not what he said to another person, but that much more is being made of this because it was a woman? If that makes sense.

"You still might get a slap, even though you’re a woman", sounds quite gender equal to me. 😞

*slowly opens can of worms*.

Agree3 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - It's a load of bollocks, I tell me Mrs every time she cooks she needs slapped.}

04 Apr 2017 23:11:06
My line manager (a female) tells me every day she's going to kick me erse.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Is she cute?}

04 Apr 2017 23:21:35
Would it be sexist if i told you she was a blonde swede and cute doesn't even come close?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Do you work in IKEA?}

04 Apr 2017 23:27:59
Na, we do get meat balls for lunch though.

{Ed007's Note - Kinky.... :-D

Hopefully they're not tedermeatballs.

Absolute BS story which actually transpired back on the 18th of March. It was a throw away comment by Moyes and as far as I am aware the reporter Vicki Sparks didn't take any offence to the comment, it was taken for her. It was the same situation when Brendan made his comments about the St Mirren first half performance. So called 'Journalists' twist and turn a situation to make it their own. It's lazy journalism, pure and simple. Even I could do it and i've no training whatsoever.

Brendan Rodgers conducted a brilliant interview after the game on Sunday. His vision for the club is very clear and I am looking forward to the next few months as we actually build a team to get access to the CL where the real money is, not the crappy cup competitions in this country paying peanuts. CL footbll is an absolute must every year.

I'm no fan of Moyes but he has been harshly treated over this incident in my opinion.
If he'd made these remarks to a male journalist nobody would have turned a hair, that's the way things are done in the football industry.
Isn't it more demeaning to women to suggest that they are so precious that they fall to bits at the first sign of any banter.
I worked in a car factory for years, the banter on the shop floor was far courser than anything Moyes said but nobody took it too seriously, and everyone male or female would defend each other if they got into any trouble.

The national and international collumnists, editors, commentators and government officials branding Moyes as "sexist" are the ones that need a slap, Gerry. It is unfair.

And you wonder how Yoda is better fed than you Ed Tut Tut you must be stuck with too much Tena's from last season and looking to entice the panty wetter's

Anyway, Where do you see Eboue playing cannot figure that one out surely it's Brown, Armstrong even Rogic in the 10 and the other two central only RW up for grabs for me (y)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I think Eboue is a long way off from being a first-team regular and he will spend a lot of time on the bench for the foreseeable.}

Another excuse to roll out the old feminist movement, halfwits and the easily offended. Makes my blood boil.

Now the title is wrapped up I'd really like to see JA get a shot up top.

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Apr 2017 19:44:22
Agree JT, JA should start would also like to see Brown, KT, Lustig, rested. Izzy, Eboue, Gamboa could fit in easily.

04 Apr 2017 22:42:09
I'd particularly like to see Eboue get some games under his belt as well. He'll need them. We'll probably see Toure and GMS getting on a few times, I think they're the only two players who can still qualify for a medal, that haven't yet.

04 Apr 2017 23:18:07
Would forget about going through the season unbeaten, is better to blood some of the younger players and see what they are made off.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - We can do both I reckon, crabitface ;) Just don't make drastic changes and go full gung ho and we're more than capable of continuing the run.
I agree that it's not really THAT important but it would be a nice and we have came this far now it's got to be worth giving it a go.}

05 Apr 2017 14:23:57
Let's blood them slowly and get them involved in the record breaking. I would love to win the league by 32 points. Also need to keep the momentum going and power through to the treble. HAIL hail 4 to go.

I see ManUtd are hunting Kieran Tierney, well according to every paper in Scotland! He is the one of the best young LB's in Europe at the moment and I feel if the money was astronomical it would be hard to turn down. What would people feel on here feel about Luke Shaw plus £££ for Tierney (if the young man wanted a move which I doubt) . When I first seen Shaw playing For Southampton I was very impressed. Luke Shaw isn't the first young talent Mourinho had ruined, De Bruyne and Lukaku ring any bells? And Shaw certainly won't be the last he ruins also! As long long as we replace players sold with quality then I'm happy, would be sick to see Tierney sold and someone mediocre brought in. HH.

If he wanted to go and the money was silly, Sead Kolasinac on a free and put the rest of the money into another dept. I want KT at Celtic for life though. It'll be hard to replace him. The fact his blood runs green is a bonus.

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Apr 2017 10:16:50
Mourinho ruined Lukaku? He let him leave Chelsea to get regular first team football and because of that he's now one of the best strikers in Europe. If Luke Shaw isn't putting in the effort then Mourinho has every right to criticise him.

im sick to the back teeth with all this celtic are crap from our friends down south, we would be pushing for a top six place with this squad, never mind what we would do with a squad assembled with the money that would be given to us by the tv companies down there, if welsh teams can play in the epl so can we.

Agree8 Disagree3

04 Apr 2017 14:03:30
Luke shaw can't play 90mins at a high tempo and to be at a big club at Man Utd and not be prepared to work hard in training is unforgivable wouldn't touch with a barge pole KT will be here for a couple of seasons yet.

Agree4 Disagree1

04 Apr 2017 14:04:35
welsh teams wouldn't have a chance to win it though james bud, with the dosh available and all the better players saying celtic park has the best atmosphere etc we would have a chance after a good few yrs, got a few english mates that ridicule me when i said the same, so far up their own arse when you talk about the EPL that they won't entertain the thought.

is it the best league in the world, not for me, ruined by greed, look at raneri, would have thought given what he achieved last season that even if they went down he should've got chance to bring them back up. dosh dictates down there pal, i can't stand it tbh,

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Apr 2017 14:18:14
The constant criticism and ridicule of Scottish football means that credit and recognition for achievements gained and honours won will always be belittled. However it also helps to devalue our players in comparison to prices paid by English clubs for similar players in other countries.
We may have a poor standard, but players like Tierney, Dembele, Armstrong, Sinclair and a good few others could hold their own in any league as well as Europe and international football and although I never want our best players to go - we should make sure there is a very substantial price tag and sell-on clause in any future deals.

Agree0 Disagree1

04 Apr 2017 16:44:54
Shaw was criticised for being too lazy and not putting in the work before mourinho was even at man utd. Shaw would demand silly money and in my opinion we can get better for the price.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Apr 2017 18:27:42
I've been saying for years that the big teams will leave for a European Super League and the rest will demand both us and Sevco to fill the void or they will suffer attendance wise. I think it will probably be Sly that will have the final decision.

How you doing anyway Ed? Hope you're keeping well?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Hi mate, nice to hear from you. I'm good thanks, just plodding along the same as everybody else, how are you doing?}

04 Apr 2017 20:33:42
I'll email you mate. All good though.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Ok.}

04 Apr 2017 23:20:26
Don't blame Mourinho, Luke Shaw is vastly overrated, Kieran is worth twice what Shaw is worth,

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Shaw came back from a World Cup to join up with Utd after signing not fit enough to train with the first team. He's wasting his career and deserves ZERO sympathy.}

04 Apr 2017 23:22:59
The attitude south of the border with respect to the EPL and football reflects their Rule Britainnia attitude to current world politics. If arrogance and ignorance was a international sport the English would be feckn world champions.

They get right on my anus. I hope Brexit fecks up their future recruitment of foreign players and their league degenerates to reflect the rank pish that is the English national team. With English Eds and the truth being the first casualty of political-correctness i don't expect this post to be posted by the postman! ☘️.
