Celtic have appealed to UEFA again.... they want to be reinstated in the SPL title race

Believable3 Unbelievable0

There you ago again Miko, another ridiculously long post about the tax case, absolutley pathetic. I just hope Neil Lennon is not of the same mind as you and he's tryin to fix the problems within our squad rather than rely on Rangers goin out of business or being deducted points so we can win the league. Your embarrassing yourself here son. All your doing is giving Rangers fans more ammunition to come on here and take the piss. U really are the kind of sad, deluded Celtic fans who give us all a bad name. Accept the fact that we're failing miserably. Does all this garbage ur spewing really make it all better? Thats not a retorical question, i wud really like an answer.

Drew

Agree2 Disagree2

Drew..as you do not specialise in Tax or run a tax advisory service nor does anyone else who come on here, you have absolutely no idea if the tax case is garbage ! Its a bit of banter & if it was happening at Celtic Park we would be getting it big style...probably more so than the 3 defeats. The only club its embarrassin for what with them being all things British is rangers

Agree1 Disagree0

Haha, shut up Drew! By the way, it's rhetorical, lol.

Sorry Rankers fans, however you're naive if you think that these off shore payments are legitimate. Rankers were basically depositing large sums of money into off shore accounts as "loose loans that the club would write off if they were not paid back!"

HMRC view these payments as irregular tax evading payments, Rankers have been ill-advised in this respect and as a result are being investigated by Her Majesty. It's gonna happen and the cream buns should face up to that.

Campbell Ogilvie is a pen pushing administrator, not an accountant so I wouldn't pay too much attention to his drivel. Remember, Rankers have to maintain their stance of righteousness as they're hardly likely to admit to any malpractice, for obvious reasons.

It's quite obvious that Rankers have already been taken to task recently over their shoddy accounting by the taxman - bring on November, because your cheating club will be exposed and the broken crest will be emblazoned all over the tabloids.

Drew, you're a donk! lol.

Hail Hail, proud to be a Celt.....Miko

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Still trying to convince yourself that everything is alright down Porkheid way eh??

HA - 4 In A Row

Rankers? Do you not mean Rangers? You portray yourself as an educated person on HMRC tax issues, yet your spelling is atrocious. Still I am not in the slightest bit surprised .

Agree2 Disagree0

Oooooooooo!! Dry yer eyes! lol....Miko x

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC have taken 2 companies to court over the use of EBT's and have LOST both cases - FACT. The rules changed in 2009 or 2010 and now HMRC are trying to get companies that used the loophole previous to the law change. Why would a judge rule that a company is guilty if the time of the offence was when this was legal? HMRC cannot enforce a law that was introduced in 2010 yet try and back date it 10 years!

Runners up to what...certainly not in being the VERY FIRST British club to win the European Cup or FIRST in the to 9 in a row (on a shoesting as well) not on fraudulent payments...So, please explain yourself you deluded non-football person !

Short memory dim, ross county! never seemed to mention this last year, only heard about the winning run.we all can say or think what we like but Rangers have won the last 3 seasons with no money. Lennon bought players last summer to rebuild his team (team for europe, team for spl :o) ) then bought again in january then bought again in summer. sorry no one left to blame this year apart from Lennon and his players. just not got the heart in the team. Rangers play for the shirt and ally, celtic look as if some of them only play for the money. if Lennon could give them 10% of his passion we would have a title run this year. sorry for the rant.

I like how a tim said he said ''he would walk to Glasgow to manage Celtic'' as in Slaven Bilic. What he did say is he would walk to Glasgow to manage Rangers or Celtic, he wasn't being pro-Celtic, he was saying he'd like to manage one of the Old Firm clubs.

Neil Lennon has been approched by the board and requested that he relieves Mjallby & Parker of there duties. Fact! Whos next i wonder? Double D

if this is the case then if im right Neil Lennon will walk as he is a very proud man and i think he will take it as a vote of no confidence by the your board as he picked his backroom staff he wont let them put someone else in their place to try and tell him what to do

Tony

We are Celtic supporters and we have had worst times than these, if we win game in hand 7 points deficit with 2 home old firm games which should give us a chance to narrow to 1, they will drop points, I have no doubt about that and then game on, and if tax case goes against them............
But to matters on field and lenny must tell fans answers to these questions.
Why was samaras giving big contract? He will simply sit on good wages and do nothing for our cause.
Why was Hooviveld and O'Dea allowed to go on loan, everybody, except it seems Lennon can see that Loovens has no heart and Mastovolovic has lot pace and form of last year.
Young Rogne looks a decent prospect monitor him in international games for Norway and if he does good put him beside Mulgrew.
Why was Rasmussen not given a fair chance, it seems to us fans Lennon has a grudge against him.
Has lennon got a problem with Stokes? again please tell us Lenny.
In summing up we just need to all regroup and get behind the team once we have had an honest response from lennon. Mick the Bhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Dont you think it is a sad state when we feel we have to bring in ''THE TAX CASE'' as a factor to improve our own situation rather than on doing it with sheer ability.

Agree2 Disagree0

Very Confident of winning 2 old firm games arnt you , The way yous are playing it could be over by xmas, Lennon must stay LOL

Agree2 Disagree0

Samaras: big contract because he scored at ibrox so Lennon more or less though he will pump them in everytime he plays. When questioned b4 about samaras he said he had good muscle against them that's why he plays him.

The 2 out on loan: personally think he got it wrong you have m.willson,k.willson,izzy,mulgrew,loovans,flapper dan, du ri(sp), ledley (who he's played there b4)rongue ,plus a couple of others a can't think of so in my eyes he's just sent them away for exp.

Rasmussen: your guess is as good as mine tbh?

Stokesy: I think he thinks he not ready for some of the bigger games ? Physical presence etc just from what he says about samaras but if him & hooper work the best then go 4 that !

Said b4 I like Neil but after u read that to ur self there is alot of questions that needs to be asked.

The tax case saga: I think rangers will lose that but it's sad to say but I think that's our major plan b

Come on u bhoys in green
Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

No your praying The Rangers will lose.
You aint no financial wizard, infact you don`t know what your talking about.
So keep dreaming and praying, its the only hope you`ve got.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye its not like he is judge or reads the papers mr financial wizard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not thats its Plan B but the board would be stupid not to take this into consideration..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol see when November comes & rangers lose this tax case I swear I will be leaving a post on your rangers page with so much gloating it will be unreal.

Do ur facts: the tax man has more power than anyone, he says to rangers or anyone who is under investasion you owe me (the taxman) x amount. In rangers case 49 million they then say prove me wrong ! If u think a tax man will waste time looking into a possible 49 million case & not get a penny the rangers fans wake up & smell the coffee! If you know anyone who has had a tax investagaion ask them how good they are at catching people out, rangers WILL BE CRIPPLED!! by this FACT might not be 49 million but will be a few anyway.

10 million wage bill needing cut,20 million for the transfer kitty ? Your out of Europe, out of 1 scottish cup, win the league ?what will that give rangers money wise ? Couple of million ?

Seeing a trend hear? Bye bye in the transfer window.

Gloat the now rangers fans but honestly fellow hoops this will turn round for us one way or another !

WE ALL LOVE THE TAX MAN, WE ALL LOVE THE TAX MAN NAH NAH NAH

Come on you bhoys in green

Ps b4 anyone says aw thats all uses can hope for if the boot was on the other shoe it would be the same!

Rogne was run ragged by Jelavic in the Co-op cup final last season, he is worse than desperate Dan. But as a Rangers fan I wouldn't mind seeing him play for you.

GovanFR

Agree0 Disagree0

If Lennon leaves it will be his decision. He has respect for the club and fans and he'll know to leave if the results arent what they need to be. Give it another few games but i think we should show respect to Neil Lennon after everything he's been through in the last season and get behind him and the team!

Believable0 Unbelievable4

If it was mowbary you wouldn't be saying give him a view more games yes it was terrible what happened last season but he isn't manager material he must go now

NL will have until the end of the season atleast.i blame the board as much if not more than lennon, they have been trying to pull the wool over the fans eyes for years now.the reason they took lennon on is because they knew the fans would love him and that lennon would be on the cheap and accept minimal transfer funds unlike a more experienced manager.id urge all fellow hoops fans to turn on the board and not lennon.
we have brought in roughly 15 million on transfer fees since lennon took over and have spent nowhere near that sum.the board don't trust lennon but dont care how he does as long as he continues on the cheap.
come on lawwell splash the cash or bring a in more experienced man

All day everyone I know was telling me of this rumour of lenny being told he was to lose two of his backroom staff. Thinking about it you can understand it, as its obvious it's not working out at all. If a known championship manager was to come in who had some good experience and could add it to our game could only be a good thing for sure. I actually hope it's true as we lack experience and tactics so lets just see what happens then. Anyone agree with me bhoys?

Forget about McLaren, Curbishley, Rodgers et al. Second rate coaches and wouldn't be able to handle what's required up here. If these are the guys you want, then your setting out your stall for mediocrity. Lennon can handle it and with some much needed assistance from the board, he'll get the best out of this team. He did last year under exceptionally trying times and will do so again. He should sign McFadden on a free and inject some class into the side immediately.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

He did what last year?

If any of these rumours are true about Mjalby and Parker and I heavily suspect they're not, then can't see Neil staying on. What's the source of these rumours?

A united front is what is needed immediately from the management and board regarding what they intend to do over the next few months. Celtic fans as usual in the dark over this club's next move.

And your point ..............

10 points with a game in hand ? I'll be honest, it's a coin toss, lose the game in hand then there's every chance we could go 4th maybe 5th ?! If we cross that bridge then I think the board will need to step in

Or

Win the game in hand,it's back to 7 PTS with 3 old firm games left with 2 at parkhead? Both teams will lose draw between then & now on probz jan/feb if that a big if rangers are 10 clear by then aye ok gloat till your little blue hearts are content.

Just remember rangers aren't world beaters after all Falkirk beat them 3-2 so there there for the taking if Lennon stops messing the team about !

They had all that time to study him then all pre season to find somone better, but no! Bring back the only 10 foot goalie who can't jump and catch a ball...!?! AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has slammed Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin for his shadow selection against Celtic.

Udinese drew 1-1 at Europa League opponents Celtic with a reserve-team on Thursday.

“Every time we play a round in the Champions League, I get a print-out of the current European ranking,” explained Galliani.

“Despite the three victories from Inter, Milan and Napoli, we are in 11th place and even lag behind Cyprus. Do you know why? It’s because some clubs show a lack of interest in the Europa League.

HOW EMBARRASSING. 4IAR HERE WE GO.

While Lenny was not and never would have been my choice I was willing to give hime a chance. I do think he has something about him. However, maybe like the late, great Tommy Burns the job has come too early and he did not feel he could say no. However, looking at things this season we are going backwards this year. Sion were nothing more than a Hearts or a Hibs and should have been dispatched, St Johnstone was awful and the the complete second capitulation at Ibrox. Neil has not learnt from his mistakes, chopping and change centre halves, changing forward lines his infatuation that Rnagers are simply a big awkward team and he has to play strength v strength.... Then we have the question of Mulgrew at Ibrox why why why was he not removed before it cost us? Ledley is easily our best midfield partner for Kayal why was he dropped for Ibrox/ Ki is not the man for away games in Scotland!! The keeper is completely down to Lennon and is awful was most of last year and again like the team he has going backwards. I believe the team are not now performing for Lenny and he has to go!! Who to takeover? There are the obvious ones i.e. MON but he would demand big money to rebuild the mess left by the previous THREE managers.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

MON is NOT the answer, he done his job took us to a final n lost got league etc but when he left, he left a mess for the next man ! If Lennon goes I would personally doin anything to get salvin billic in & just hope & pray he says yes, remember there's 4-5 million sitting there after Xmas ? I would be surprised if it's touched in the transfer window so it's a plan b.

Everyone loves Lennon but if he doesn't pick up form & soon he will get the supporters against him & it's another one out the door ! Sad but properly true ?

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Oneill left a team coming to the ends of their careers not a team of young superstars so he shoulders blame as well

Agree0 Disagree0

We only need someone with a bit of experience to 'guide' NL until the end of the season...no-one has left that beat Aberdeen 9-0 or rangers 2-0 at ibrox and that was before Kris Commons joined ! There's something wrong with morality, they seem to have no fight in them & injuries have been big...its our best players that have been hit. How would rangers be if Naismith & Davis were out for weeks ?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Martin O'Neill left Celtic with players who were probably past their best ... yes he probably did ! the official line on his departure was given as his wife being ill , which was partly true , but he left because he had taken Celtic as far as he could on the budget he was getting from the board , if after Seville he'd been given the budget to sign 2 or 3 players to add to the squad then Celtic would have went on to dominate Scottish football for years , but in Celtic boardroom traditions , the powers that be deemed that because we had just been in a European final the team was good enough and not in need of improvement , i have great respect for Neil Lennon as a player and a person , but Celtic need an experienced manager , it is too big a job for Neil at this stage , i'm sure he will given time become a good manager as Paul Lambert has done , i would welcome Martin back , with Neil as his assistant , Neil would then learn from his mentor and Celtic would reap the benefit in the future , but the board would need to play its part by releasing the funds needed to put the club back on top in Scotland , £2.2m investment is not nearly enough , using the excuse "thats where Scottish football is now" is not acceptable , i'd be interested in hearing the views of CELTIC fans on this .

Agree0 Disagree1

Its definite experience that's needed...in my opinion there's unrest in the dressing room whether its coming from a player thats on the bench I don't know but an experienced manager could sort this out. It's time the board took action but I imagine they are going to wait until they see if rangers have a tax case to answer & if they do, could be the worst thing that happens at Celtic Park as they will take no action esp when it St Johnstone thats beating us at home (which for me was out worst defeat - not ibrox or tynecastle). I would enjoy watching gers squirm but I fear out miserable board would shut the biscuit tin.

Another poster who doesn't leave their name and questions who i support. I have never once been on there page and showed any sort of support. At the start of the season i was hounded off it for critizing their team and foolishly saying i was happy with my own. How wrong I was! Once again i must be a Rangers fan coz i dare to say celtic are hugely underachieving. Now Miko back to you, u are obsessed with this tax case for the simple reason that you are unwilling to face up to the fact that Celtic can compete with Rangers. I will apologize for the moron patter coz its not my style. So Rangers are stripped of all the titles they won during that period and lets even say theyre deducted points for giong in2 admin this season, will that really make you feel better. It doesnt change the fact we're mince and could only win by default. On2 you now Tony, yes we got in through the back door in europe but Sion new the rules, they were warned and still didnt listen. We deserve to be there. U are totally right in terms of miko and the tax case blanket but totally wrong about europe.

I don't think I have ever agreed with his starting 11 in the big games. Once bitten twice shy is a saying Lenny has been bitten 20 times by loosens and Danny and still picks them. Lenny's job has been virtually impossible. He needs an assistant to look up to and Mjallby and Parker don't know any more than Lenny does. He needs an experienced coach, someone who knows what theyre doing. The lack of support from the board is a bit worrying aswell. Frank McGarvey was spot on today with what he said.

Right... For too long I have read each poorly thought up and normally terribly written post and like others, I sat back and waited for a positive result or outcome to back Lennon.

Firstly I am a Celtic supporter, faithful through and through, not just a Neil Lennon supporter.

I loved Lennon as a player and captain; however as a manager he simply is not good enough. I am sure why as Celtic fans, we can't just come out and say that. We always need to justify the fact that "Lennon is a great guy" or "brilliant Celtic man" - Lets face it, if he can’t do the job and to me personally it looks as though he can't, then he must go. We have had Rangers on the ropes for too long now and if we don't change things now it will be 4 in a row to in my opinion the worst rangers team in the last 20 years.

Lennon yesterday spoke about the team not being able to deliver good results on a consistent basis. 9 games into the league and we have played a minimum of 2 players in each position, surely the fact the management team do not know our strongest 11, is a major factor on the team not delivering consistent results.

It is time bring the thunder back by removing Lennon and bringing in experience.

JL

Believable3 Unbelievable0

The worrying thing is as u say the chopping and changing of the team one of rangers strong point is mccoist never seems to tinker with the team unless he has to....we need to get maj tae f*** because again his an error he made cost us a goals get rogne(who was on the bench) bk next to mulgrew and keep them as our defensive pairing yesterday highlighted how much we miss ledley and kayal in the middle of the park no dig and no fight.

viewparkbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. The only point I would like to make tho, is Rankers in fact have a very good spine to their team. Add to that they seem to have an annoying streak of luck in finding good CB's, and you have a decent 11 each week... the Celtic board have to realise this, coz Lennon has'nt! We need a manager with experiance and a bit of cash for January to have ANY chance of stopping Rankers. Act now...

Agree0 Disagree0

I made a point about the tinkering recently. I think it is the major problem with our defence, which is as important as the personnel.

We've been very unlucky with injuries at the back, but we should just pick a back 4 and stick with it instead of playing around with it every week and shifting Mulgrew from CB to LB to LM to CB ...etc.. Rangers keep the same back 4 and even Davie Weir who's pace is probably worse than Majstorovic never looked that much out of place largely due to the defence being settled.

It is just possible that once the back 4 plus the keeper are familiar with one another that they'd be able to function as a unit even with the odd weakness (Major's pace etc.)

Maybe if you would have been at the last home game at parkhead you would have seen and heard the green brigade protesting against SNP ya muppet. Think before you post. This is when green brigade and blueorder will need to stick together. Well you can get away with not thinking cause you've not got the baws to leave a name.
Gavbhoy

Agree2 Disagree1

Gavbhoy sorry i made a joke about the blue order and never put much thought into it, this is what you would like to hear ya clown but then again some of us dont care about what blue order and the green brigade are protesting about. paddy p.s. is that a big enough pair for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tony you are the one wae the security blanket wrapped round you son ! Mr Whyte is s**ting himself about the pending tax case , so you are either in denial or the eternal optimist , no one can be sure of the outcome , but it is certainly a serious financial situation hanging over your club , which should be worrying every Rangers fan .

Hey ed hows u? I've been on hiatus for a wee while but am just wondering if u think the international break will do the team good and five them a chance to regroup (obv some of them will be away thohgh). Alm I right in thinking we have another game in hand?
Kevbhoy {Ed001's Note - hard to say, it can be the worst thing to happen, hard to bounce back when the players aren't there in training to work on problems.}

See all this talk of Lennon out, most of it is from unamed bears on here up to michief as usual. Yes Lenny has made mistakes, Mastovolevic, Loovens Sammy to name 3 no heart players. But injuries to important players have played a part also. Come on bhoys we are Celtic, let's give Lenny and the team our usual 100% support. Yes it's a big gap but not impossible, first thing is to regroup and make sure we are in a striking position when they come to Celtic Park, believe me guys they are poor, they have had all the luck so far, they will also drop points so it is not all doom and gloom.
I think that is why we celtic fans are angry, we know they are not a good side so we must all stay strong and when Rangers drop points and THEY WILL Celtic must take advantage. Hail hail Mick the Bhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Here if gers are poor what does that make ur team this is what makes me laugh coz ur right gers are poor but its the worst celtic manager an team i ave seen lenny blames every1 bar himself an the team have no heart ur statement is a joke just like ur team whats happened to ur 29million pound striker ????

ive said from the start that lennon was not the right guy for the job at paradise was a cheap option for the board i dont think the guy has a clue he changes the team far to often they never get to gel and for the injuries whats going on and another thing the players heads are down regular is the team happy i know me as a fan aintonly two guys id consider for paradise martin o neil and the king to think back when the great tommy burns was manager no defeats and lost league by one point and got sacked yet we will have to sit back as our board and lennon lose the league yet again so mr. lennon do us a favour and move on and the board get someone in pronto patrick-k

Ok i try my best to keep my posts on here dignified and respectful but no more. Miko your a moron. It is absolutley pathetic for u to call into question any of the titles Rangers won in that period. The players still had to go out and be the best over a 38 game season. This tax case is just ur sad excuse to deflect from the fact that we are a shambles and you just cant except that even tho Rangers are a mess behind the scenes they are lightyears ahead of us on the pitch. You may not believe this but it pains me to say all this coz ive had a season ticket for 15 years and for the last 4 years in particular ive paid good, hard earned money to watch a 2nd rate team season after season.

Drew

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yes Drew, No flies on you eh? Obviously they're light years ahead of us, they're 10 ahead of us. I didn't insult you, however you feel the need to utilise your limited vocabulary and denounce me as a "moron!"

You asked what the tax case had to do with anything, you "imbecile", and I responded by saying that it was very relevant and went on to give my "opinion" on why. This is an open forum where opinions count, I have mine and you have yours, you shouldn't dismiss others' points of view.

Rangers have bought success, which is fine if you have the cash, I had to endure 9 in a row, at a time where Rankers were spending copious amounts, you obviously didn't!

However, the integrity of the league is at stake now because they've been spending outwith their means in recent years........so shut up, get your mummy to put your pyjamas on and get to your bed! xx

Miko

Agree0 Disagree1

Why is it pathetic...they won these titles fraudulently end of ! Anyway, what can I say gers are poor (in more ways than one) and we are poorer. But it is only October so lets wait & see :)

Agree0 Disagree1

Drew your season ticket is for Ibrox, you go on different sites and post as a supporter of rangers, celtic etc.. how sad are you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell me one team that actually live within their means should man united hand back every trophy the won while in debt what about celtic dont you have debt maybe i should not have bought my BMW on finance as i am £150000 still owing on my house but to put all this to bead Miko wait till end of November to find out if Rangers has actually done anything wrong as of yet it has not been clarified you are taking up the role of JUDGE JURY AND EXECUTIONER

Agree3 Disagree0

Who cares..the tax thing & stripping the titles is a bit of banter, obviously hit a nerve so good ! Now away back to school before you get into trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Drew you are not fooling anyone. we all know you are a rangers fan.

Neil Lennon was visited by God today, he said "come forth my son". Lennon replied, "at this rate we'll be ****ing lucky to come fifth!"

Why are people saying they want curbishley and mclaren when slaven bilic said he would walk to Glasgow to manage Celtic.

GaryBhoy88

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Mate that's all I have said all season ! He said he would walk into the job but Celtic never asked him! Now by may they will be 4-5 million from Europe cash sitting there for a new manger if Lennon doesn't win the league then he's off! Because season ticket sales are down & if they lose the league for a 4th year then that number will fall again + the lack of Europe again.

Lennon was always the cheap choice love how he's turned it round but hes a Celtic man & knows him self if he does win the league hes finished.

Come on you bhoys in green
