I read today that the rangers fan who threw two flares onto the playing surface at falkirks ground damaging it in the process has been let off with community service, no jail no fine, and no football ban.honestly only in this joke of a country could this happen unless you are a celtic fan.killy.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - And it was a 17 y.o. teenage girl - her parents must be so proud of the wee trollop, knowing that lot though they'll have the newspaper clippings in the family album. She escaped a FBO because throwing a flare onto a football pitch during a game did 'not actually cause harm to anyone'.
That'll should make it interesting when the lads from the GB are up in court for singing a song that has been in the UK charts. I'd rather someone sang a song at me than threw a flare.}

Normal court services continue in Scotland .

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you expect anything else in this cesspit of freemasonry? And people wonder why we will not sit by and watch while the rotting carcass of a football team masquerade as a dead one.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Imagine that was your daughter, GJ? It wouldn't matter if she got a FBO or not, she'd not be going back near a football match. I wonder if there was any asthma suffers rushed to hospital with smoke inhalation at the game (think)

@ED: Asthma! A classic. maybe in sevconia that particular illness has been eradicated! If that was one of the GB the press would be all over it

Ed033 Note: The Celtic Player Ratings page has been updated to the latest Celtic match.

Wow what a wacky scot cup draw 5 all prem ties and the other two (celtic Killie ) draw top 2 in championship.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Anyone would think they're preparing Sevco for a debut in the top division.}

The closer they get to the top tier the more paranoid we get, just like the old days lol

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - But as it turned out we weren't paranoid enough, Jim, we knew something was rotten at the Govan cesspit, we just never knew how deep the cheating, lies and financial skulduggery actually went. The stadium, the badge, the history they try to claim as their own, everything they have, or ever had, is toxic beyond repair. That's why whichever rancid club or company play at Ibrox will quite rightly forever be known as Scotland's Shame.}

It's a funny thing paranoia. That is what was so satisfying Ed. Being called paranoid - all that time knowing, not having any facts, but just knowing, that club was rotten to the core.

To paraphrase something I heard once:

"Success brings complacency. Complacency brings failure. ONLY THE PARANOID SURVIVE. - Someone famous.

Agree1 Disagree0

It was a certainty we would get a tough away draw - although we should win and I also expect Kilmarnock to do what they always do so at at least I can earn a few quid off the back of the shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

The hyperbole on here is delusional. Rangers are rangers. In no world does financial status determine the identity of a footballing organisation: this should be an uplifting point.

Yes, we slag them off at every chance. But who can really say they are not our rivals? The lads in the starting 11 think so. To argue that they do not exist is just stupid. let's deal with it instead.

like, 8 goals deal with it.

@rabbie: Oh dear.

Agree4 Disagree0

What are you smoking, Rabbie and where can I get some? My glaucoma is playing up

Agree4 Disagree0

One thing is sure the Kilmarnock fans are on to a winner . No matter who wins the Killie fans will celebrate wildly.

Agree1 Disagree1

Well said Rabbie! The obsession of some on here about how Rangers/Sevco are a new club etc. is pathetic and cringeworthy. To me they are still Rangers because I want Ronny and the bhoys to annihilate them as much as every other time. They are still the same horrible, poisonous mob they have always been no matter what their official title may be. Hail Hail.

Agree1 Disagree1

Thanks for the responses folks, LOL. I know its a touchy subject. Rangers may yet disappear into oblivion, and a cup loss could be just the thing to herald their demise for good.

My first Monday back at work after a week's holiday wasn't bad enough but according to some of the zombies Hugh Keevins said a few times on Snyde on Saturdy that a lot will depend on if the Hoops can keep hold of Guidetti in January. Green Jhedi or Timalloy you've mentioned you listen to the show did you hear this and is it true ed?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - It's not true, no matter what happens in January regarding Guidetti he joined us on a season-long loan. We're the only team he can sign permanently for in January, even if he agrees a pre-contract with another club he's still our player until the season ends. I have no idea what Keevins is on about if that's what he said, phone up tonight and ask him (call)

LOL I wish I had the bottle to do it big man so I think you should do it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Not a chance in hell (finger)

ED007 Keevins and Snyde surpassed themselves tonight.
First shuggie with "126 years of Old Firm history, but this game in January is the biggest of them all" I kid you not, you could literally hear him peeing himself in anticipation.
But sadly they got Neil Lennon on to legitamise the whole shebang and Neil even took phone calls.
Neil you have let all the Celtic fans down by appearing on this rancid station.
I keep saying I will not listen to this polluted station and I always dip in for 20 minutes or so then I need to have a deep cleanse. But I am the stupid one for even listening for that amount of time.
Timalloy is on the naughty step.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I didn't know NL was on it, as good a reason as any to give it a miss then! Him and Hugh must have kissed and made up since he got Pedro to ban him from CP and Lennoxtown.

I'll phone in -whats the number?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon will just turn into yet another media wh*re (like Hartson, Sutton, etc) now that he's a former Celtic employee again.

Agree0 Disagree0

I listened to a bit of Lennons talk in and was very disappointed with him. To claim he 'got on well with the written press' was nothing but ass kissing.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He actually said that? (puke)

@ED: He certainly did, shocking eh? He did say some broadcast press were iffy though! I was disgusted he came away with it while talking to Keevins and Hannah, for me it was an excellent time to right a few wrongs on behalf of us all.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I'm disappointed, though not really surprised, by that.}

Mentioning Lennon, Bolton won again tonight . 9 points out of 15 isn't relegation form. Good to see a Celt for 12/13 years doing reasonably well.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I didn't even know Bolton were playing tonight, so let's look at this, The night before a match at a club he's hardly in the door at, who are in the relegation zone and trying to kickstart their season, their manager's in Scotland, doing a poxy two-bit radio phone-in show? It's good to see him keeping up his professional approach to matches.
And yet people gave RD pelters for taking a few days off during the last international break even though he took in TWO international matches! (headbang)
I'm off to bed before all the NL apologists start but that is completely unprofessional for any manager imo and if it wan't NL everyone would condemn it, it's hardly concentrating your efforts on the job. Would anyone be happy to see RD working doing CL work for Norwegian TV tonight (Wednesday) before our EL match on Thursday, I know I wouldn't, I'd be raging about it.}

Maybe he learned from the ultra pro Roy Keane who prepared for Int matches and club matches by series of book launches and book signings . The dates for these were arranged by the publisher and Roy . Maybe these two Irishmen try to do things different .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - You've lost me with that one, I can't see any comparison in there at all. A manager should be preparing his team the day before a match, a new manager should have a pile of work to do rather than appearing on a radio phone-in show in another country, it's unprofessional and there's no excuses for it.}

I believe all the big teams enter the Scottish Cup draw this afternoon.
What is the betting, as like buses you wait for ages then 3 come at same time, that we get paired with the downmarket Govan team again.
