Brown was the only midfielder who turned up on Sunday.

People slating julien as well, he was our best defender on Sunday by a country mile and won nearly all his battles wit h Morelos.

What we need is our best players turning up against them, as much as I love Forrest he just never does it against them for some reason.

Still think we are a far better team than them but we need to start showing it cause the last 2 games against them we ain’t been great and made them look good.

The only player I would take out their team is Barisic, he is the only player they have that is better than what we have.

The last 2 games against them has been their 3 v our 2 and broony has been firefighting practically all game trying to cover the whole midfield! Midfield was overwhelmed because our tactics were off and they set up against us. We didn’t change anything and we didn’t set up the way we should have. Johnston should never have started, Ntcham should have been CAM like he has been the past 4 games and Christie out wide. Johnston doesn’t do enough defensively to warrant a start against rangers especially when there right hand side is there weakest part of the pitch thanks to there captain. If it wasn’t for the experience of Steven Davis manning the post every attempt we got then we would’ve won that game. 2 clearances off the line from the same situation. Something we couldn’t do.

It was plain to see that the sevco midfield were allowing Brown the ball while closing the space for the real danger men in our team and as much of it as he wanted as they know that he isn't really going to do much with the ball on his own.

Look it's simple 2 against 4 in midfield there's only one winner fed up saying this but if we match up we would be fine because we have better players but no same bloody tactics all the time.

got to agree that we were at least one man short in midfield, but will lenny admit his team selection and tatics were wrong, even bringing in players who can make us better is going to be very difficult as they need time to gel and in the case for wanyama who has not had much games this last while he will take a lot of games and time to get match fit.

If Griff and Bayo may never be first team regulars, I would like us to bring in two different types of centre forward.
The midfield requires a more competitive edge as we have seen; but
additionally, I would like us to try Bauer at Left back (if Taylor is not deemed ready by NL) as Bolingoli is not up to the job.

If Sissoko is a CB then I'm not really bothered if I haven't heard of him. He could be very talented if that's the club he is at, and I doubt we'll be after a CB ready to walk in to the XI anyway. Ajer is a top young talent who will only develop with playing and given his cost and the fact that he has actually played in Ligue 1 then Jullien is his immediate partner. Sissoko would come in to develop and see where he goes from there. It's other areas of the side that are the priority.

{Ed007's Note - I asked someone the other day who knows a hell of a lot about French football (they work for Marseilles and are currently being headhunted by Barca) about Moussa Sissoko and the reply was that he isn't up to much - definitely nowhere near good enough for Ligue 1 - and that Tanguy Kouassi is the pick of the youngsters at PSG but he looks to be heading elsewhere.}

{Ed007's Note - I think either signing would be a risk in terms of improving the squad, in saying that if they stay fit it's a step-up from Simunovic and must at least be an upgrade on Hendry.}

We should have offloaded Simo last season for the apparently 5m or so from the French team.

The Brazilian guy just seems like too much trouble if he don't get his own way and don't fancy another young guy, would prefer someone who can just come in and be solid at the back. Nothing fancy just a good honest decent pro that can defend well first and foremost.

{Ed007's Note - I don't think it's Fabricio Bruno himsellf that brings the trouble but his agent seems like a right slippery character and was described as "wholly unethical" by the Cruzeiro chairman.}
